chapter twenty-nine, episode two
the frankel footage.

BONNIE moore, sebastian santiago and five hargreeves currently teleported inside of the backseat of a car. Sebastian gagged making Bonnie grimaced and lean over the door and open it for him.

"then why are you doing this?" Bonnie and Sebastian heard a unfamiliar British voice which was most likely a women.

"yeah, Batman?" Sebastian's and Bonnie's eyes widen as they quickly sat up from their position and looked in front of them.

"because he is an idiot." Five said while Bonnie and Sebastian had their mouth wide open in shock at the women in front of them who was sitting between the mystery british women and Diego.

"mom?!"

"penelope?!"

"wait, she's who you've been staying with?" Diego asked glancing over at Bonnie who nodded her head slowly. "wow penny, I thought you were lying about having kids."

"shut up, asshole." penelope snapped at Diego glaring at him and then turning her entire body over to look at her kids and at five. "why the hell are you guys here?"

"and who the hell are you?" the women asked backing away from the three teenagers. five smiled, bonnie was still shocked while Sebastian opened the door again to puke since he wasn't finished before.

"hi. I'm his loving brother." five waved at the women.

"who left me to rot in the nuthouse."

"to protect you from yourself." five argued back with Diego who rolled his eyes and leaned over the seat.

"that's quite sweet."

"im Bonnie, his unofficial daughter. that's Sebastian, Penelope's son. " Bonnie said her eyes still stuck between Diego and penelope, swiftly glancing over at the women who smiled widely.

"are you as insane as he is?" she asked to Bonnie who tilted her head to the side and hesitantly shook her head putting her lips in a tight line. "ugh."

"okay, all of you out." Diego deadpanned looking at everyone who was squished inside of the car.

"loose the crazy lady's and your new girlfriend and come with us. we have important business." the womens face dropped along with penelope who made a disgust face and dropped themselves back onto the seat.

"I am not going anywhere with you." five looked out the window and then over at Bonnie who was already looking at what he was looking at. five raised an eyebrow at Bonnie who shook her head with a cold stare.

"okay, fine." five grinned at Diego before pulling down the window of the car and sticking his head out, "officer!"

"hey!" Diego grabbed fives shirt and roughly pulled him away, "what are you doing?"

"I hear there's a reward out for you three." Penelope's eyes widen but the women next to her shook her head.

"he's bluffing."

Diego and five kept their eye contact for a little longer, Diego trying to read him and five was letting him. "he's not."

"wait, what did my mom do?" Sebastian asked slamming the door shut and cleaning his mouth with a napkin that Bonnie gave him, she was now carrying them around in case of Sebastian.

"she is helping them." Bonnie whispered to Sebastian who let out a "oh" and nodded his head.

"fine. I'll go with you."

"what about us?" the women asked pointing between her and penelope. the two women glanced at Diego and gave him a look causing him to sigh deeply and close his eyes turning back to five. "and im bringing this crazy lady's."

Bonnie watched as penelope and the women fist bumped each other with a wide smile.

THEY arrived back at the store, the women introduced herself to them saying her name is Lila. five and bonnie were in front, penelope was behind them besides diego while Sebastian and Lila were behind them.

"can i ask you a question?" five whispered to bonnie glancing over to her as they walked up the stairs.

"is it a easy one? cause if it's math related then I'll pass." bonnie half joked laughing softly and bumping her shoulder onto five who shook his head with a grin but then as he thought of the question his grin fell.

"are you, uh, okay?" bonnie opens her mouth but five cut her off, "honesty."

bonnie let go of his hand and chuckled nervously, tucking a piece of her red hair behind her head and dropping her shoulders. "you said it was a easy question."

five gave her a look as bonnie crossed her arms lazily over her chest and smiled forcefully at him. five knitted his eyebrows together and was going to say something else but Elliott had other plans.

"where did you get the film?!" Elliott shouted both terrified but demanding, holding up a gun towards the teenagers, "the frankel footage." the truth this time."

"you know this lunatic?" diego asked making five sigh.

"new acquaintance. he's harmless."

bonnie looked over the adults back and tugged onto Sebastians shirt. the boy frowned his eyebrows and looked over to the girl who whispered, "did you bring the gun?"

"of course i brought the gun, im not stupid." sebastian scoffed motioning to his back and bonnie was going to protest but the boy shook his head, "don't even answer that."

"are you or are you not the enemy of the people?" elliott pushed, holding the gun tightly around his hand and shakily walked towards the group.

"such an open-ended question, yeah."

"really depends on the people."

"do you mean aliens?" bonnie asked tilting her head to the side and dropping her arms to the side of her body. the girl jumped back when elliott pushed the gun towards Bonnie and then backed up.

"you move more muscle, i will blow your brains out."

"how long did you practice that?" penelope asked sincerely raising a eyebrow at the man in front of them. diego chuckled from besides her and shook his head but the Hispanic women was being serious.

"you want to take this or should I?"

"i got it." five deadpanned glancing down at bonnie who confusingly looked up towards him but once their eyes locked, they both knew what to do next.

"hey, penny..."

"no."

bonnie took the butterfly knife out of her shoe as five teleported himself in front of Elliott and aimed the gun upwards since Elliott pulled the trigger out of protection. Diego and bonnie jogged forward, bonnie taking the gun away while holding the knife in front of her threaten to hurt him if he makes a move on her.

bonnie threw the gun over at diego who catch it effortlessly and took out all of the bullets. "aw man, i wanted in on the actions." sebastian scoffed shaking his head.

Lila and Penelope were both surprised as they stared at the scene in front of them. "what the hell just happened?"

"this is the coolest shit i have seen in years." penelope breathed out letting out a laugh at the end of her sentence and looking over at Lila who then joined her in laughing.

THE group sat in the dark kitchen, a protector behind them with a white blanket in front of them as the frankel footage was on.

Lila was painting Elliott's feet a green color, which he couldn't protest too because he was tied up by bonnie. Penelope was sitting next to Diego, her legs over the other and her arms crossed over her chest looking directly at the screen.

Sebastian sat on the table while five joined two chairs together and sat on the fair end and bonnie sat in the other leaning herself onto his chest and letting five wrap his arms around her waist.

"is it on?"

"i don't know."

"what do you mean? there's an "on" button. just - there's something over - that jigga-ma-thing, whatever."

"i hit the jigga-ma-thing."

"okay, well, just - give it to me I know how to do this."

"all right, here. here. hurry up."

"okay, all right, let's see..."

"i wish I could be like that." Bonnie whispered for only herself to hear but apparently five hears her as well. Lila and penelope started talking in the front but five wasn't paying attention.

"why?" he whispered asked back to Bonnie who got more comfortable and sighed deeply before a smile appeared on her face.

"because they grew old. they loved each other young and they love each other old. it's what true loves about and i would love to experience true love," the moore girl glanced up at bonnie locking eyes with five, "at least once."

five didn't know what to say anymore. his breath got stuck into his throat along with his words as his eyes roamed through all of her angelic face and then to her blue piercing eyes. five simply placed his lips on her forehead and bonnie melted dropping her head back onto his chest.

a single kiss can mean a million words.

"I'm always so proud of them for not murdering each other." Lila's voice then rang through their ears along with Penelope's hum of agreement with her new best-friend.

"why are we watching this?" Diego asked irritated with watching the whole thing and hearing Lila and Penelope.

"shush." five snapped up at Diego who rolled his eyes.

"yeah, i - im dan frankel. and-"

"im edna frankel."

"edna frankel. we are in dallas, texas to see the president." when this was called out Diego, five and bonnie all glanced at each other since this was in the future and they new exactly what was going to happen, "todays date is November 22, 1963."

"holy shit."

"well, that's six days from now." Lila pointed out smacking Elliott's feet who kept on moving trying to kick himself away from them.

"holy shit," Diego said and bonnie noticed that he let go of something in his hand but she couldn't quite see what but kept her gaze on Diego, "this is it. the grassy knoll. kennedy's about to get shot. how do you have this?"

"Hazel died to get me this footage." five said shifting himself in his seat starting to feel overwhelm with all this feelings crumbling inside of him, "it must be the key to stopping doomsday."

"Hazel?"

"long story."

"what's doomsday?"

"longer story."

"what did he say to you?" Diego asked his eyes now moving away from the film in front of them.

"well, he was killed before he could explain. but whatever he wanted us to see, it's in this film." and it was true. whatever reason Hazel gave five that film it was for the right reasons because after the fun shots went off the camera went crazy causing a person to pop up.

a person that bonnie, diego and five knew. the brothers knowing him in person and living with his for years while bonnie heard stories and a few pictures.

"this can't be."

"you really can't predict the future." bonnie said standing up along with five who pulled the projector further from the screen making it go bigger as the three people from the future got closer to it go get a better look.

"okay, you imma fill me in now, guys? what the hell is this shit we're watching?" Lila asked.

"it feels like high school all over again." Penelope scoffed leaning herself back against the chair and crossing her arms over her chest. she glanced over at the three who were now up closely to the screen still not believing what was in front of their eyes.

"No, that's impossible."

"nothing is ever impossible." bonnie said loud enough for them to hear. everyone was confused as they watched the screen of a man wearing all black and a black umbrella standing there while watching the shooting happen.

"who is that?" Elliott asked muffled into the shirt that was stuck in his mouth to prevent him from speaking or screaming.

"dad."

"some guy." bonnie shrugged her shoulders but her voice was much more lower than theirs so they heard dad instead of what bonnie said.

if things couldn't get more confused, they sure did now.
