chapter forty-three, episode nine
the B word.

BONNIE loved five. she really did but right now that he's arguing with literally no one it made her want to punch him in a face.

"you wish you could pull off this shorts! right Bonnie?!" five shouted glaring at literally no one and then back over to Bonnie who gave him a sweet comforting smile nodding her head.

"five, that man in front of us is talking shit." sebastian laughed pointing over to the man that was simply walked in dog. five shouted some nonsense at him as well making sebastian laugh so hard which earned a smack on the back of his head by Bonnie.

they walked in a bridge which made five calm down and walk between sebastian and bonnie. Luther walked away from older five and headed over towards five.

"hey, brother. how you doing?" said luther.

five took his a deep breath looking at old five from in front of them and then over to luther, "he's gonna kill me, isn't he?"

"what?" luther scoffed laughing a little. "what, him? he's gonna kill you? yeah, right. that's ridiculous. bonnie wouldn't let that happen."

bonnie nodded her head agreeing with his words but the way that his voice completely went high pitch, that concerned her.

"you know, you're a terrible liar, luther." as five said that Luther's face completely dropped, "you're a worse liar than you are a spotter."

"okay, who's fault is that? what good is having a spotter if you won't even listen to him?"

"so you admit you're conspiring against me?" five snarled at his brother.

"do you admit that you're suffering from paradox psychosis?" luther ignored his question glancing down at five who brought his shoulders up to his head again.

"all I'm suffering from is bracing clarity about you and your murderous intentions." five snapped.

"look, it's not like he's gonna "kill you" kill you. he just wants to kill a, um — version of you. plus, like I said before bonnie wouldn't let that happen." luther said again pointing over to Bonnie who let out a chuckle holding her fist out to luther who glanced down at it and gave her a hesitant fist bump back. they were getting there.

"but I am that version of me." five quickly followed after luther who started taking big steps wanting to get away from the conversation.

"hey, I don't love it, either, but he's actually got a pretty good plan."

"what?" five scoffed started to scratch himself more than before, "the one where you guys off me, bonnie and sebastian and then jump to 2019 to save the world."

luther frowned his eyebrows nodding his head slowly glancing down at the itchy five, "yeah, wait, how did you know that?"

"dude, have you not been listening?" sebastian scoffed now standing next to Bonnie a long time ago listening to the conversation and getting more of what's going on than Luther's who's been there the entire time.

"because im him, and that is exactly what i would do if I were trying to kill me!"

"okay, all I know is we've got one five too many, and you're the one acting like a maniac." luther pointed out glaring down five.

"maniac?" five chuckled dryly and shook his head, "luther, you have seen nothing. if you want maniac, I will show you maniac."

five then stomped away from them and luther quickly jogged up to them while Bonnie and sebastian stayed behind them.

"okay, as your spotter, I think the best thing I can do for you right now is put you out of your misery." luther said making five stop walking and now standing in front of him.

"okay, luther, listen." sebastian and bonnie took a step back when five grabbed Luther's shoulders roughly and turned him around. "I know your feeble mind only responds to age and authority, so listen very closely. yet again, you are experiencing daddy issues, this time with your own brother, which honestly is making me a bit crazy. but remember this: mentally im 14 days older than him. i have seniority here. so it is me you should be listening to, luther."

Bonnie and sebastian gave each other a confused look and then looked back over at five who extended his arms open and shouted, "im the daddy here!"

"yeah, im leaving." Bonnie said nodding her head and taking a hold on Sebastian's arm dragging them in front of five and luther not knowing how it deal with a lunatic five and a old five. she was going to let luther suffer with him this one time."

"can you all quit grab-assing. we're here."

"flatulence. stage four." Luther announced softly over to five who wouldn't and couldn't stop scratching himself.

"see? what's your plan now, bucko?" five snapped which no one took him seriously because right after that he farted — longer than the other — "that was just lunch, all right? shut up."

"disgusting." sebastian scoffed shoving his hands deep inside of shorts and walked away from them.

Bonnie glanced over at five at felt bad for him, she wishes and hopes that everything goes as plan. that they can at least get the briefcase.

AT any given moment now the president was going to walk right past them, at any given moment now older five was going to go back to 2019.

"this is my favorite part." older five mumbled holding up the gun ( one that Bonnie doesn't know the name of ) putting it all together. "the calm before the storm."

five breathed heavily shrugging his shoulders and jumping up and down looking suspiciously at older him, "look. the briefcase." he whispered to them.

"here we go." sebastian groaned crossing his arms over his chest and glanced down at the red hair girl who had her head leaned against fives arm, her eyes glued onto older five.

"no, don't. you won't be able to get there in time." luther hissed at five.

"of course i will. this is our only chance." Bonnie, like before, took her head off from his arm and sighed deeply knowing that this is where something is going to go wrong.

"hey, uh, just remind me — what was the final stage of paradox psychosis again?" asked luther.

"death?" bonnie answered unknowingly.

"homicidal rage." five then hissed right after Bonnie who shrugged her shoulders and whispered a, close enough, underneath her breath.

"right." luther breathed out nodding his head before his face dropping glancing down at him, "five, listen to me. I—no. no!"

luther and bonnie gave each other a bored and worried look seeing as five teleported over to older five who spinal jumped away from him.

"oh — shit." luther looked back down at bonnie who gasped loudly launching herself over to older five going to snatch the gun away when luther wrapped his big arm around her body bringing her back before she could do anything. "bonnie, stay."

"bad idea, shit-heel." old five snarled but luther let go of bonnie and walked over to old five snatched carelessly the gun away from him.

"stop it, alright? the both of you. pull it together." luther snapped at both fives. older five looked away while five started pacing back and forth anxiously again and kept on looking over at Bonnie, "now, Kennedy is gonna be coming around the corner any minute. okay? so, everyone, let's just take a deep breath—"

luther mocked in a deep breath making older five inhale a shaky breath along with five who just took inhaled a sharp breath.

"now, we're all family here, okay? so can we all just try and get along for a few more minutes?" luther asked desperately.

five smacked his lips together looking over at his older self, "you want it?"

"what's that?" luther asked and once sebastian puzzled together what was going to go down he wrapped his arm around Bonnie's waist and brought her a lot of few steps back.

five kicked luther in the balls making him lean forward in pain and scream. while that was happening all at once five and older five were having a fight for themselves. Sebastian and Bonnie stayed back not wanting to interfere in their fighting.

"would you guy—" luther started saying but both fives went back over to him and kicked him again. "hey! I'm getting really sick of this!"

"can we get food after this?!" Bonnie shouted just loud enough for her five to hear her. her five stopped jumping and looked over at her nodding his head and teleporting again when older five was going to hit him. "yay."

as five and older five continued fighting Bonnie giggled glancing up at Sebastiana who was bored out of his mind. "I bullet that idiot." Bonnie glanced back over at five who got punched at making her grimaced.

Sebastian frowned his eyebrows and grinned down once he realized that she switched the L word with the B word.

"stop it you assholes!" luther shouted once he recomposed himself grabbing the gun and pointing it at both fives who collided with each other. "I'm done listening to you both. I'm in charge now."

Luther pointed the gun back and forth from both fives who were scattered on the ground.

"now, luther! Shoot him!" shouted older five.

"No! luther, shoot him!" five shouted standing up and looking over at Bonnie who was worried knowing that luther wouldn't do such thing — no yeah she was worried.

"shoot him!"

"No, luther, shoot him!"

"luther shoot him!"

"shoot him!"

"now, luther!"

"luther," Bonnie breathed out getting out of Sebastians hold going over next to luther who turned his head over to the red hair girl. "Luther!"

luther turned his head from Bonnie and over to five, "I'm sorry, buddy." Fives eyes widen in horror looking at the determination in Luther's face keeping the gun in front of five. if anything Bonnie was ready to jump in front of the gun and Put up her metal shield.

luther than used the back of the gun to hit older five in the face, knocking him out completely. luther quickly looked over at five, "now! open the portal!"

Five looked relived looking down at older five and then over at Bonnie quickly going over to her and giving her a soft short kiss on her lips before going back out and try to open the portal.

"when is it my turn to have a love of my life." Sebastian grumbled from behind Bonnie making the red hair girl look over at him giving him a wide smile.

"you'll find one soon." Bonnie said to him making sebastian roll his eyes and cross his arms over his chest as they now both turned around to watch five opening up the portal.

five was putting all of his powers into opening up the portal, sucking all of his energy that he has left. Bonnie felt herself get worried as five grunted and cried out holding his hands forward opening up the portal.

"don't you even think about it!" luther shouted at older five who was slowly getting up from the floor.

"into the vortex you go, asshole." five shouted letting go of his hands pointing over to the vortex portal that was now fully open and ready for older five Togo.

"fine! but give me the math! so I don't end up looking like tiger beat over here!"

"you stand next to the vortex as I'll tell ya!" Five snapped shouting at him and nodding over to the vortex portal that showed luther, allison, diego Klaus, vanya and Bonnie down looking up at the vortex.

Bonnie jogged over to five putting up the metal shield not wanting to risk older five doing anything on him. "closer!" five shouted at older five who was not so close to the vortex.

"this is close enough! now give it to me!"

five glanced over at luther who nodded his head making him look back over at older five. "it was a typo."

"type?!"

"we put the decimal in the wrong spot —" thank god i did, five thought mentally to himself wrapping his arm around Bonnie who moved herself back to him, "in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limit cycles of planar polynomial vector field of fixed degree. we wrote down five-point-seven. it should be —"

"zero-point-five-seven! son of a bitch!" Older five shouted leaning forward, "i knew that didn't look right. All right — i guess this is it."

"this is it. Go." five shouted and when he did that luther from 2019 threw the fire extinguisher over to them landing on Luther's head making him drop down to the floor and since he dropped the gun older five thought that this would be the perfect time to grab the briefcase but Sebastian was faster than that.

Sebastian drew the gun up in front of older five backing him against the vortex but that's where he went wrong. older five managed to quickly grab the briefcase from besides Sebastian who accidentally shot him in the leg.

Bonnie brought down the metal shield making five launch himself forward and grab the briefcase from older five both of them now tugging on the briefcase. five and Sebastian gave each other a stiff nod before Five pulled onto the briefcase and sebastian brought his leg up kicked older five on the stomach throwing him inside of the vortex. with the breifcase still in his hand.

"we did it." luther breathed out a wide smile on his face not noticing what has happened.

five groaned loudly walking over to Bonnie intertwining their fingers together and then walking away muttering to luther, "the briefcase, you idiot."

"hey, you know what? a thank-you for preserving you existence would be nice." luther hissed at five who stopped walking and held Bonnie his in his arms, her being the reason why he's going to calm down right now.

five frowned his eyebrows as he heard the speakers and it clicked. he unhooked his arms from Bonnie and lead them both over to the fence. "Luther! Sebastian! Here he comes!"

five grabbed the breifcase and stood on top of it, sebastian and luther didn't need any and just look over while Bonnie stood on the fence. she swung her legs over the fence and sat on top of it holding herself up on the fence along with five who held his hand on her back.

"there's dad."

"what do we do?"

"ah shit." five breathed out leaning forward and pointing over to Diego who was running over to reginald. Bonnie gasped and jumped off the fence glancing at Diego in horror. she kept on glancing from Diego and over to reginald who stayed standing on grassy knoll.

when Diego reached and tackled him the gun shots fired. bonnie moved her hand away from the fence and in a matter of seconds — ignoring the shouts and pleads from five, sebastian and luther — she ran as fast she could over to Diego who held a paper in his hands tears whelming up in his eyes and emotions just romancing furiously around his body.

"Diego!" Bonnie shouted making Diego lift his head up from the man in black and up to Bonnie breathing out in relief. once Bonnie reached him she jumped up on him wrapped her arms around Diego and him wrapped them around her waist holding his daughter tightly now knowing that she's okay.

"I couldn't save kennedy." Diego whispering his eyes still on the man in the ground.

bonnie didn't say anything knowing that nothing she says was going to be good enough for Diego to stop guilt tripping himself. "it's alright, dad." bonnie whispered back to him watching as everyone ran away from the scene of crime.

soon everyone else gathered around Diego and bonnie all of them holding a distraught look on their faces.

"let's go home."
