chapter fifty, episode two

cause in a sky, cause in a sky,

                    A SKY FULL OF STARS , coldplay.

               "FIVE hurry up before they all start interrupting us!" Bonnie hissed at five as she started to unzip her sweater with five following right behind her.

"shut up, my shoes won't come off!" five shouted back as he almost tripped trying to get his shoes off. Bonnie let out a giggle getting closer to five and colliding their lips together as they went up to her room. bumping into every wall, every cabinet and every single door.

after their encounter the two stayed in bed for a while. a white blanket wrapped around her body, her arm wrapped around his torso while his fingers ran up and down her bare arm kissing her head repeatedly.

they stayed like that talking for a little while, cherishing their moment together before they got dressed and headed back downstairs. five put back on his clothes that he was wearing while Bonnie put on new clothes.

she put on baggy jeans with a teal long sleeve shirt and putting on her converse.

five and bonnie were then downstairs at the bar. five drinking some alcohol drink while bonnie drank some from his drink not really wanting anything. They were alone for a while until Klaus quickly called out for them once they were ready to go back upstairs.

"hey! bon bon and her husband, what do you say we get outta here, huh? take a little — road trip?" Klaus asked handing Bonnie a plate as she couldn't find them to get food.

"what are you talking about?" asked five.

"I'm talking about a sojourn to the countryside. you, me and your wife, the wing in our hair. the future maid of honor and the couple on the open road."

"you know me and Bonnie aren't even engaged yet, right?" five told Klaus who shrugged his shoulders.

"singing to oldies, living our best life, my little cherub! Bonnie tell this old man to get on my side." Klaus groaned looking over at Bonnie who was too busy smelling the food than to pay attention to their conversation.

"listen to me, I nearly died from Luther's sleep farts last night. you didn't even suffer because you were too busy being inside of Bonnie. please we need to get out of here, get some fresh air!"

"okay, I'll bite." Five grumbled turning around to face Klaus but also to wait for Bonnie who was piling her plate with food, "why us, klaus?"

"because you said — you said you're retired, and that's what retired people do."

"why me and Bonnie?"

"Bonnie will always say yes because she loves me! i just have to beg you because you're grumpy and is the honeymoon phase with Bonnie so it'll take more time from you. you deserve to have some fun with your future maid of honor as said before!"

"there's no lobsters." five breathed out confusing Klaus along with Bonnie who turned their head over to the tank that held the lobsters.

"excuse me?"

"there were three lobsters in that tank a minute ago." said five.

"yeah, well, you know, maybe Chet blended 'em into a morning smoothie." Klaus said smiling down at five who then glanced between the tank and Klaus before giving Klaus a sarcastic smile.

"you're an idiot, but im in."

"whoo!"

BONNIE was in the back seat sleeping. her legs stretched down onto the seat, using her arms as a pillow and completely knocked out while Klaus was driving with five in the front.

she started hearing screams from five and Klaus and rough turn causing Bonnie to groan loudly trying to stay in her seat. she heard Klaus and five mutter together a, "sorry Bonnie." Before they continued their shouts and screams arguing with each other while Bonnie stayed dead asleep.

she didn't really wake up until they reached Pennsylvania. she didn't even know they were going so far until Klaus shouted — "we're in Pennsylvania!"

"you know," Klaus breathed out as they stood in front of a ball brown ball at the entrance of Pennsylvania, "I don't know why, but I thought it'd be a lot bigger."

"seems pretty big to me." five said his eyes on the big brown yarn ball.

bonnie tilted her head to the side before she started looking around the field just like Klaus was doing.

"here's the real question. how do you know your birth mother is in Pennsylvania?" Asked five turned around to face Klaus.

"well, because I was on the ass end of a two-week bender, and I can't tell you the exact date because we were boofing Xanax and the whole business, but Amy Winehouse was at the top of the charts. So that puts us somewhere, where? In the mid of late aughts?"

Bonnie sighed deeply walking over to fives side and dragging her hand down his arm till it reached his hand and intertwined their fingers together. Five smiled down at her as he watched the red hair girl drop her head down to his arm.

"i helped myself into dads office, looking for a key to his safe 'cause he had pogo locked up all the stealables. But instead, i found a treasure trove of our family history told in expired check stubs. I was too messed up to, uh, do anything about it, too scared to look her up. But always in the back of my mind, i wondered why she sold me off for three grand. I mean, come on, she couldn't have held out for five? Six?"

Bonnie squeezed fives hand giving five a sentimental look before tilting her head up towards her boyfriend. "you see anything about my mother?" he asked tensing up a bit as the question escaped his lips.

"no. sorry." klaus said shaking his head.

"why now?" asked five glancing back over at Klaus who's frown turned into a cocky grin.

"well, duh. dad disowns us. Grace isn't Grace. Ben's — gone. Now just felt like a good a time as any to find out who I could've been if I didn't grow up in this stupid family."

"Well, can you really call what we had, a family?" Five said giving Bonnie a quick glance making sure she was still besides se her.

"no. it's more like a—"

"institute for sharky delinquents and not a good one at that." Five added making both brothers laugh shaking their heads.

"but what is family? what is it?"

"whether you think your family or not, for me you are my family." Bonnie finally spoke up her eyes stained on the giant ball in front of them. the two hargreeves males turned their heads down at Bonnie.

"really?" asked klaus sounding almost shocked that Bonnie would considered their disfuncional family, a real family.

Bonnie let out a giggle turning her head over to Klaus and giving him a nod. "you guys have been more of a family than my own blood family. Diego took me in when he wasn't even supposed to. You and Allison just accepted the fact that Diego brought around a strange 15 year old girl around. I'll always remember when you tried making a cake for my 16 birthday. It took some time for luther to like me but now he does. Five, well, he's my boyfriend now and that'll never change. no matter how many apocalypse we go through or how many people we kill — you guys always stay. so in my books, you are my real family."

five leaned down and planted a kiss on her forehead while Klaus let out a breath and giggly walked over to Bonnie pushing five away and bringing Bonnie into a tight hug.

"you're the only person who's never giving up on me, not even once." Klaus whispered to her as he dropped his head down to her shoulder and she had her arms wrapped around his neck. swaying back and forth softly and gently with the wind. "thank you, bon bon."

Bonnie pulled away giving Klaus a big smile before leaning forward and giving him a kiss on the cheek and going back over to five, who wrapped his arm around her waist.

"thank you guys for coming, and you five," Klaus pointed over to five who raised an eyebrow at him, "you're a good brother, to us and boyfriend to Bonnie."

five tried so hard not to laugh and instead dropped his head down to Bonnie's hair hiding his smile from Klaus who had his eyebrows frowned deeply at him.

"all right, all right. you say nice things about me now." Klaus said waiting patiently for five to say something back.

"uh okay," five said putting his lips in a tight line and walking over to Klaus patting his arm, "let's go find your stupid mother."

"love you too, tiny dancer!"
