chapter forty-fifty, episode ten
the end of something.

               "THE fbi believes they may have been acting in concert with the alleged shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, Vanya Hargreeves, wanted in connecting with the deaths of several FBI agents inside the federal building at Dealey Plaza."

"damn vanya." bonnie breathed out turning her head over to vanya who was practically glaring at the man that was announcing everyone on the tv.

"a Cuban exile known only as Diego—"

"Cuban?" Diego asked know looking up at the tv that showed a picture of himself.

"—who recently escaped from the Holbrook Sanitarium. A bare-knuckle boxer with suspected Mafia ties who fights under the alias "king kong."

Bonnie raised an eyebrows at luther who glanced down at her shaking his head putting his lips in a tight line.

"Allison chestnut, a negro radical responsible for instigating and organizing the recent riots at stadtlers lunch counter."

"that's bullshit." bonnie scoffed tilting her head to the side and leaning back against fives chest.

"Another Cuban boy who's name is sebastian santiago, known and seen around diego and luther."

"at least im involved and not left out." Sebastian said.

"and finally, klaus, the controversial cult leader and known tax evader. the fbi is asking for the public to be on the lookout for this unidentified duo—" the man showed a picture of Bonnie and five walking back to the store — his arm was wrapped around her shoulder kissing her head while bonnie had a worried look on her face, giving the vibe of a old married couple.

"—who they believe is being held hostage by the suspect terrorist network, they also say to be careful with this duo who may be deadly."

five hummed shrugging his shoulders, "well, it's true."

"what part?" Sebastian asked lifting his head up from the railing and over to five.

"the part of the hostage. i do feel like im being held hostage most days."

"we're not deadly." bonnie said out loud before looking up at five and whispering to him, "right?"

five chuckled lowly shaking his head only wrapped his arm again around her waist.

"god, I hate that photo." diego deadpanned, his eyes glued on the photo of himself.

"they're saying I instigated the riot?" Allison scoffed, "that's unbelievable."

"look, the good news is that we restored the timeline and we stopped doomsday. so—"

"yeah, a bunch of real goddamn heroes. we let kennedy die." diego shut down the positive words from luther who rolled his eyes.

"yeah, and now we're officially the most wanted people in the world. the fbi is after us, the Dallas police, the secret service. i mean it's only a matter of time before they hunt us down here."

"well, where are we supposed to go?" asked vanya.

"i have this yurt just outside Reykjavik. we could totally lay low there. folks there are a little weird, but lovely." Klaus said drowsily.

"hey, numbnuts." five called out to them catching all of their attention, "hidings not gonna make a difference here. The commission will hunt us down wherever and whenever we go."

"he's right. they'll never stop." bonnie nodded her head agreeing with him before frowning her eyebrows and quickly looking over at diego — five doing the same thing.

"im sorry, since when are you an expert of the commission?" asked five.

"since I got back from there. which reminds me, you dear mother told me to tell you that you are my responsibility while she sort things out." diego said lazily over to Sebastian who groaned and mumbled some nonsense underneath his breath.

"what?"

"yeah, they headhunted me, offered me a job. full time with benefits which I had to turn down." diego informed them.

"they headhunted you — the village idiot." five said grinning teasingly at diego who gave him a look.

"what, am I not allowed to be headhunted? only the almighty five needs to be in demand?"

Allison sat down besides sebastian who gave her a soft smile which she returned back putting a hand on his shoulder in comfort.

"Diego, you're not commission material, all right? got an obstinate nature to ya." said five frowning his eyebrows as Bonnie got away from him with a deep sigh and sat down next to sebastian as well dropping her head onto his shoulder.

"who do you think it was that figured out vanya was the one that causes doomsday and stopped it? me."

"hey!" Klaus shouted to Diego who want paying attention to him and instead getting closer to five who kept a sarcastic smile on his face up to Diego.

"I figured it all out on the infinite switchboard."

"you were on the infinite switchboard?" asked five.

"hell, yeah. i made that machine my bitch. y'all need to recognize that I got shit going on y'all don't even know about." Diego finally snapped glancing at everyone.

"oh, sorry. you've got things going on?"

"this isn't helpful."

"and guess who can make bonnie stop seeing your bitch ass. me." he would never do that but in his mind he was on a roll and wasn't going to stop by any means. "look, I met the resistance in their secret lair. all right? i went through orientation and I passed and I stopped doomsday."

"where's my mom?" Sebastian asked sighing deeply and leaning forward on his knees.

"she's with your aunt." Diego waved his hand at sebastian who rolled his eyes standing up from the stairs and walking up the stairs and over up stairs to where vanya was at.

Bonnie and Allison sat there listening to the boys argue about literally anything. going from how long their dicks were — which Allison and Bonnie didn't want to know — to the nickname of luther who was offended and educated them.

"Shut the fuck up already." Bonnie groaned standing up from the stairs and stretching out before lazily looking at everyone. "No one gives two shits about who's longer, literally don't care and it's disgusting unless it's five — we're literally being tracked down by every single organization that can kill us. we need to either get a plan or go get the fuck out of here."

"language bon bon." klaus said pointing over to Bonnie who's face dropped giving Klaus a face which he only held his arms up in surrender.

"okay, we need to box those windows and stay here." diego then said backing up his daughter who sighed in relief nodding her head at him.

"I'm leaving." vanya said now down stairs with sebastian standing behind her with his arms crossed over his chest.

"I'm going with her." sebastian said locking eyes with Bonnie who tilted her head to the side.

"what? to go where?" asked Allison.

"sissy's farm. somethings wrong with Harlan and I need to help him. sebs has offered coming with me." vanya said closing her eyes tightly trying to calm down her nerves and pointing over to sebastian.

"vanya, we need to stick together, okay? now more than ever." luther stepped in.

"that's why I'm telling you this." vanya sighed deeply moving her shoulders anxiously and stepping forward to her family, "whatever's going on with Harlan, I think I might've caused it."

"how?"

vanya seemed unsure to tell them at first but when she looked over at Bonnie who gave her a comfort nod and looked over at sebastian who send her a tight smile but in his eyes she could see that sebastian had her side and was going to be there for her she was sure.

"he drowned, and, uh, somehow I was able to bring him back to life. and now it's like we're connected." explained vanya.

"wh-what does that even mean?" Luther asked while the rest tried and processed this newly information.

"I dont know. i can't explain, but — I know that he needs my help." vanya said and sighed softly glancing at her family, "I need your help. I'm scared and for the first time in my life, I don't wanna do it alone. I want my family by my side."

vanya glanced at everyone and even at sebastian who she just recently formed a friendship with but she found comfort in the quiet friendship of sebastian santiago.

"look, vanya. we have other priorities right now." diego said sincerely.

"Diego's right," Bonnie frowned her eyebrows and glared up at her boyfriend who gave her a sorry look, "for once. we need to make our stand here for now."

vanya glanced at everyone who dropped their heads down while Bonnie scoffed and stepped forward clapping her hands together turning around to glare at everyone. "im going with vanya and no one is stopping me."

Bonnie quickly walked over to sebastian who has now down the steps besides vanya.

"okay, i guess I'll see you when I see you." vanya said sighing deeply and nodding her head at them walking out with Sebastian following right behind her but Bonnie stayed behind.

"she's your sister, even if she ended the world once it wasn't like she want too or meant too. we-you guys have the chance to finally help her the right way this time, the help that she needed before." bonnie declared giving them each a look that they understood very well.

"she's right. toodles!" klaus said drowsily standing up from the seat and walking out of the back over to vanya. Allison and Diego gave each other a look and then they followed after Klaus. Luther quickly following.

lastly it was five standing there looking at Bonnie who held a proud look watching as they all left and walked out over to where vanya and Sebastian were at. "you know i heard you, bonnie."

"Hmm?" bonnie hummed turning around over to five who had his hands tucked inside of his shorts and walking over to bonnie.

five smirked down at at Bonnie who had her head tilted up at five confused. blue meets green. he put his hands on each side of her cheeks and placed a soft and gentle kiss on her lips. Bonnie smiled against his lips and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

five pulled away gently putting his lips near her ear, she could feel his hot breath running down her neck causing hairs to lift up. then five whispering, "i bullet you too, idiot."

before Bonnie could say anything else five was already walking out of the door leaving the flabbergasted red hair girl behind. bonnie glanced up at the ceiling and smiling letting out a loud giggle and skipped out of the store and over to the rest of the family.

BONNIE was squished between vanya and five in the front. Sebastian, Klaus, Diego and Allison were even more squished in the middle row while luther sat in the trunk.

Bonnie's attention was drawn to the front when snow started to appear out of no where as they entered the farm. vanya slowed down glancing everywhere before pressing on the gas quickly going over to the front.

"you think whatever's going on inside is causing the cold front?" asked Diego as they all got out of the car quickly.

"well, the correlation is high." five responded back holding his hand out to Bonnie who grabbed it gracefully and got out of the floor

"this is nice." sebastian said sarcastically shrugging his shoulders and slamming the door shut roughly.

"sissy! sissy!" vanya shouted over to the blonde hair women who ran out of the barn and was holding up a gun towards them.

"get back!" sissy shouted defensively running over to them with the gun up to them. force of habit Bonnie build up her metal shield around them — all expect vanya since she was further away. "all of you, just get the hell back!"

"sissy! hey! hey! what's wrong?" vanya held her hand up towards sissy who worriedly kept on glancing over at the rest and then back over at vanya.

"Carl." she simply said.

"what did he do to you?"

sissy let out a shaky breath shaking her head, "he's — he's dead. Harlan tossed him aside like a rag doll, some way you sent those policemen flyin'. what did you do to him?"

"No—"

"what the hell did you do to my son?!"

"we don't have time for this." Diego said walking forwards making Bonnie shut down her metal shield from them all.

"where you think you're going?" sissy said bringing the gun back up towards Diego.

"to help your son." deadpanned diego.

"look, sissy, I found my family. these are my brothers and my sisters." as the energy crackled in the back by each second they stayed waiting causing the electricity to only grow bigger and bigger — sissy lowered down the gun glancing at them all who were slowly making their way over to the barn.

"ma'am." luther said waving his hand up at sissy who breathed heavily and glanced over at vanya.

"were you lyin' to me the whole time?"

"of course not." vanya breathed out shaking her head and taking a step forward, "look, I didn't know who I was. but I do now and we are not the monsters that they saw we are. we did not kill the president. we are not terrorist, we're not here to hurt anyone."

"then," sissy's voice dropped panting softly as she looked at vanya hopeless to what's the truth, "who are you?"

"the only one who can help Harlan." as sissy made a few more decisions quickly in her head with a simple nod towards vanya, she quickly jogged up the snow followed by the rest of her family and quickly entered the barn.

"what the fuck." sebastian breathed out as they entered the barn showing electricity going around in a circle. it was a mixture of blue and yellow and it was going in a rapid paste.

"Harlan! Harlan, it's vanya!" vanyas shouted in horror as she noticed Harlan in the middle of the electric circle lift up in mid air. "look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. i need you to listen to me, okay? can you do that?!"

five pulled Bonnie behind him which she instantly put up the shield over them all expect vanya and Harlan. vanya looked over at sissy who nodded her head and in a matter of seconds vanyas face turned completely pale and her eyes turning into a white and blue color.

they all watched as vanya entered the waves of electricity so smoothly.

"careful." five called out to vanya knowing that they were protected by Bonnie.

"uh, guys." Klaus then called out after them. Bonnie was the first one to go and see what Klaus was looking over at dropping her shield with the process. soon everyone else was behind Klaus looking out towards the outside.

"ah, shit." Diego breathed out along with five and Bonnie who's face dropped recognizing who it was.

"what, who are they?" Klaus asked.

"one's the handler, one's Diego's girlfriend and sebastians mom and the other is sebastians aunt." five deadpanned sighing deeply.

"penelope. she's still my girlfriend." Diego snarled back at five who rolled his eyes not really caring while sebastian and bonnies mouth widen along with eyes looking over at Diego. "you know what? doesn't matter, they all look angry."

"my mom never gets angry." sebastian grumbled glaring up at Diego who send him a sarcastic smile.

"yeah well, our brother has that effect on people." Allison said shrugging her shoulders and going in front of Diego.

"I'm—" Five started to say but bonnie cut him off just as fast as he opened his mouth.

"and me."

"bonnie and I—" five fixed his mistake but yet again was cut off.

"me three."

"sebastian, bonnie and i are going to go see what they want. you guys stay here with vanya and the kid." five snapped rolling his eyes and starting to move away.

"I'm coming with you, too. come on." Diego said and with that they all headed out of the barn and over to penelope, lila and the handler who were all standing in the middle of the field. Lila and penelope close together and the handler besides them.

"I love the smell of that fresh country air, don't you, my darlings?" the handler chuckled her eyes staying on the four people in front of them.

"makes me want to vomit." lila grumbled.

"it doesn't seem that bad." penelope said sweetly glancing over at her sister who gave her a serious look which she only shrugged her shoulders. "just saying."

"mom." Sebastian breathed out looking over at penelope who sighed in relief as no hint of anger was laced on his face.

"hi, mijo." penelope smiled at her son then looked over at lila who nodded her head at sebastian.

"what do you want?" five asked.

"to watch you suffer." lila snarled her face hardening and she looked at five.

"what about me?" Diego asked locking eyes with penelope who tilted her head up at him.

"I—"

"penelope." the handler called out towards her daughter who cleared her throat recomposing herself.

"you're not even worth her time." lila snapped knowing that penelope wasn't going to tell off the only man she's ever loved and lila knew that. she knows her sister, so right now it was up to her.

"easy." the handler glanced over at her daughters who both held different expressions. Lila had a stone cold gaze glaring at Diego and five while Penelope had her head dropped to the ground not baring to look at Diego. "we're here on official business."

"yeah? what kind of business?" Bonnie asked making herself known and standing in front of five always feeling weirded out about the handler looking at five.

the handler turned her head over to Bonnie and grinned innocently at her, "as the head of the commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of the directors."

five and bonnie shared a worried gaze while Diego scoffed and shook his head, "yeah, right. we didn't kill the board."

"ha, dad, see that's such a funny story, actually." Bonnie chuckled nervously glancing up at Diego who snapped his head down at Bonnie who went behind sebastian who rolled his eyes.

"you didn't tell them?" the handler asked looking between Bonnie and five. Bonnie quickly got away from sebastian and went back in front of five glaring at the handler.

"oh, five and bonnie." the handler tck shaking her head at the two young couple.

"bonnie, five, what the hell did you do?" Diego snarled at bonnie and her boyfriend — bonnie looking at him nervously while five held a stone glare at hin.

"what we had to do to get my family home. until somebody reneged our deal." five tilted her head over to the handler.

"somebody wouldn't have reneged on the deal if somebody could've met a simple deadline. alas."

"you really are a bitch." sebastian scoffed crossing his arms over his chest and glaring over at the handler.

"that's no way to speak to family." the handler hissed at sebastian who rolled his eyes choosing to ignore her.

"you set me up to fail."

"you set yourself up to fail, friend. you and your brothers and sisters and your girlfriend — kinda the running theme of your little life, isn't it?" the handler laughed looking at all of them.

"dude, I can't believe you killed the board of directors. the both of you. you have no idea how messed up the commission is right now."

"but it was fun." bonnie whispering which only five heard causing him to chuckle lowly and wrap a arm around her waist.

"messed up? who's saying that?" the handler asked tilting her head curiously at Diego who snapped his head over at her.

"everybody. Christ, even the janitors think it's going to shit."

"that's not all he killed." lila then snapped.

"lila." penelope whispering over to lila who shook her head glaring at five.

"what?"

"don't play dumb, you prepubescent piece of shit and penelope stop defending them!" lila hissed over at penelope who turned her head completely to lila.

"i am not!" penelope argued back over to lila who raised an eyebrow at penelope, "he doesn't even know what he did!"

"exactly! he should know how many lives he actually took!" lila remarked back to penelope.

"enough." the handler commanded to her arguing daughter settling down the briefcase, "the point is, all of you are going to die today. hmm?"

"how nice." Sebastian grumbled.

"oh. well, I don't like your chances." Diego mocked, "seven of us, three of you."

"kind of hoped you never said that." Penelope whispering throwing her head back with a groan.

"you know, you're right. let's change that." the handler said and with a snap of her fingers millions of assassins appeared behind penelope, lila and the handler who stood there with straight faces looking at Diego, sebastian, five and Bonnie.

the assassins behind them cocked their firearms ready to shot at any second.

"so what do we do now?" Diego asked as the four of them huddled close to each other, him making sure that sebastian five and bonnie were still in his view.

"well, we go two choices: fight and die now or run and die later. either way, we're good for worms." five sighed deeply shrugging his shoulders.

"preference?"

"wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing air through the old windbags." five said intervening his fingers with bonnie.

"all right. let's get this over with, shall we?" the handler looked down at her watch and the in an instant she brought up a silk red cloth.

Sebastian glanced over at his mother who was going to open her mouth to say something but the handler walked over to penelope and stood in front of her smiling kindly at them.

"run, run, run!" sebastian shouted pushing them all and along with the three adults in front of them they all started running for their life's knowing that this assassins were trained to kill and nothing more. there was no mercy for them.

"shit!" bonnie shrieked as one of the bullets went right through her legs causing her to start limping. bonnie immediately put up the metal shield over the four of them as they ran away from the assassins that were fairly close to them.

"we're not going to make it!" Diego shouted glancing down at his daughter worriedly. five pulled sebastian by the shirt, his hand still intertwined with Bonnie and he got closer to Diego putting his intertwined hand to Diego's shirt. "what are you doing?!"

five spital jumped the a few feet forward. bonnie groaned feeling her legs about to give making five wrap her arms around his shoulders.

"five, I think I'm gonna puke!" Diego gagged as they all continued to run and hide behind the big tires of the truck.

Sebastian and Diego hide behind while five and bonnie sat in front of them. "what now?" five asked.

"we blink into the house, man!" Diego shouted at five who nodded his head and quickly joined their hands together going to spital jumped them inside of the house but just like before he couldn't. he was out.

"what?!" Diego shrieked.

"we're dead." sebastian deadpanned throwing his arms up in the air and looking up in the sky.

"shit, I'm out of fuel. im too tried."

"go! I'll — I'll cover for you guys!" Diego said looking at the three teens and without another warning he stood up from the ground and rounded the truck.

"Diego what are you—"

"dad!"

"Diego bad idea!"

"Go!" Diego shouted to them using his powers to stop the bullets. bonnie build the metal shield over them and millions of bullets bounced to the metal shield and went back in a instant but just like five she was loosing fuel and since she was loosing blood it was affecting her powers.

five, sebastian and bonnie all slide in inside of the house. Sebastian going over it the kitchen and hiding behind the counters while five and bonnie covered themselves under the table.

five shield bonnie with his own body going on top of her and holding his arms on top of her head and holding one arm on top of his own head. for him she came first even if it risked his own life — bonnie was going to be his main priority if it's the last thing he does.

bonnie shouted in pain as a loud high pitch sound ran through the farm a blue light blinding them all and in a matter of seconds the bullets stopped.

"are you guys okay?" sebastian asked coming out of the kitchen crouching down the kitchen table to look at bonnie and five who slowly nodded their heads standing up from the ground and looking out the window.

every single assassin was dead expect the handler, lila and penelope who still stood alive. Sebastian and Bonnie sighed in relief at the sight of penelope but then all of their eyes widen as they watched lila mock vanyas powers.

"that's not normal." Bonnie said nervously backing away from the window and three of them all ducked down under the table again. Bonnie gasped in horror as luther collapsed through the roof.

once the lila was done mocking vanyas powers the three teenagers quickly went over to luther who was on the ground almost halfway dead.

"luther are you okay?" five asked standing go and glancing down at luther who groaned loudly.

"oh, I think I swallowed my tongue." luther rasped out.

five made a face and tilted his head down at luther, "if you swallowed your tongue, you wouldn't be talking you big moron. Bonnie how's your leg?"

Bonnie glanced down at her leg and lifted up the white dress up to her calf. "it's healed." Bonnie mumbled dropping back down her bloody white dress.

"that's good." five sighed deeply nodding his head and placing a soft kiss on her head before going back to luther. "you, stand up."

with the held of five and sebastian, luther stood up from the ground and backed up against the wall. "what the hell happened? what was that?"

"my crazy aunt." sebastian said sarcastically backing himself away from luther and over to bonnie who leaned herself against the table feeling herself about to pass out.

"she must've redirected vanyas energy wave."

"yeah, I know, but how?" luther grunted and five tilted his head up to the brick wall that was about to collapse on luther. five quickly pushed luther away and in seconds the brick wall collapsed on five.

"five!" luther and bonnie both shouted at the same time quickly going over to the bricks and trying to help five when lila all of a sudden was standing in front of them.

"hello my darling nephew." lila chuckled wrapping a arm around sebastians shoulder who glared up at her. "you have your mothers look alright."

"who are you?" luther snapped standing back up from the ground and quickly pulling Bonnie behind his large body.

"someone who wants to kill your brother." lila snarled unwrapping her arm around Sebastians shoulder and started heading over to luther and bonnie.

"well, that's understandable. diego can be a lot to handle."

"yeah, a real dick sometimes." bonnie lied nodding her head at lila who smirked at Bonnie.

"yeah well, besides my loving sister getting attached to him and me wanting to murder him as well — I was talking about you boyfriend." Lila said raising an eyebrow at bonnie who looked around the room pretending to search around for someone else and then look back over to lila pointing to herself. Lila nodded her head making Bonnie let out a loud "oh."

"yeah! he can be a real dick too." bonnie said letting out a nervous laugh and from behind luther she hooking her hand onto his jacket pulling on it nervously which he instantly picked up on.

"but," luther then trialed off pulling Bonnie completely behind him blocking Bonnie from lila, "but, unfortunately, they're family, so you're shit out of luck." luther shrugged his shoulders before swinging his hand out to lila who catch it with ease.

"we're dead meat." bonnie groaned throwing her head up and quickly going away from Luther's protecting and over to sebastian who pulled her behind the wall. Sebastian pressed himself onto the wall holding bonnie close to his body wrapping his arms around her body.

they heard a loud scream and bonnie looked over the wall noticing luther being thrown out of the house throuvh the wall and lila chuckling evilly calling out to Allison.

bonnie took this opportunity to get out of sebastians grasp and quickly go over to the pile of bricks where five was still at. sebastian glanced out of the hole in the wall where lila and fighting with Allison and then went over to Bonnie helping her take all of the bricks off from five.

"five? five!" bonnie sighed in relief as five got out of the bricks groaning in pain. bonnie launched herself to five who's arm instantly wrapped around her waist despite him being in pain. "oh thank god you're okay and not dead."

"guys, we need to go." sebastian called out pointing over to lila who just rumored something to Allison catching the attention of luther.

bonnie helped five stand up and out of habit he intertwined their fingers together limping over to the wall and look out to lila who's smile dropped at the sight of five.

"you little turd." lila hissed at five who tilted his head to the side and let go of Bonnie's hand looking over at sebastian and nodding his head communicating silently with sebastian who understood instantly and grabbed Bonnie.

"let's dance." five said and both him and lila spital jumped elsewhere leaving them behind.

"Allison!" penelope shouted in horror running over to them ignoring the calls from the handler who kept on calling out to her. Penelope dropped down to the ground and glanced at luther who held a stone cold glare at her.

"get away from her." luther snarled at penelope who shook her head.

"I can help her. let me help her, please, luther." penelope chocked back a sob pleading to luther who even though he felt betrayed by penelope he knew about her powers and he in fact did know that penelope could help Allison better than him.

"the second i put my hands on your neck your going to feel a like a bee sting on your neck but it's be gone in an instant. okay?" penelope whispered to Allison who nodded quickly pulling her neck with her hands wanting to just breath again. penelope immediately put two fingers on each side of her neck and closed her eyes.

Allison in fact did feel like a bee just stung her but then a few seconds later she inhaled a deep and sharp breath sitting up from the ground and panting heavily. "thank you! thank you!" Allison cried throwing her arms around penelope who sighed in relief dropping her head down to Allison's shoulder.

Bonnie and sebastian jumped off the hole of the wall and quickly kneeled down to Allison to check if she was alright and see if she needed anything.

"penny! penny, help! Bonnie! Sebastian!" Diego shouted in pain from where he was last seen with bonnie and five. "penny! Allison! luther!"

"come on." penelope stood up from the ground pulling her son and bonnie along as luther pulled Allison up. they all quickly headed over to Diego who was on the ground with the truck over him.

"hey!" Diego shouted as everyone ran towards him from different directions. "what took you guys so long?!"

"well, we're here now. do you wanna stop complaining?" luther asked quickly going over to the tracker.

"or we could just leave you here." Klaus snapped.

"what he said."

"you're so smart Diego." penelope said sarcastically down at Diego who smiled up at her.

"well thank you so much amor." he said back sarcastically and in the background Bonnie and Sebastian let out a gagging noise.

"does everything in this family have to be a discussion?" vanya asked looking back over at the barn where sissy was alone with Harlan. Luther didn't waste another minute than to lift up the tracker with the little help of Klaus and the help of sebastian.

"go, go, go, go!" Allison shouted while pulling Diego out from under the tracker.

"are you out?" grunted luther as Klaus let go of it.

"yeah!" once Diego said that luther immediately dropped the tracker with a loud grunt. Diego stood up from the ground and sighed deeply and glanced over at luther with a loud laugh.

"Team zero! Unstoppable." Diego raised a hand up to luther who clapped it before letting out a breath and glancing over at penelope who smiled lovingly up at him.

bonnie knew that something happened between them while he was with the commission and she'll never know.

"okay, has anyone seen five?" Allison asked glancing specifically at bonnie who nodded her head.

"fighting with crazy aunt." sebastian said putting his lips in a tight line earning a smack from the head by his mom.

"by the way, your sister can blink like five." luther said eyeing penelope who chuckled nervously nodding her head.

"yeah, that bitch just rumored me so I couldn't breath."

"and destroyed, like, half the farm with a shock wave. so unoriginal. bon bon, I miss you." Klaus said holding his hand out to Bonnie who jogged up over to him and wrapped around arms around Klaus who hugged her back.

"right so uh, she's one us. she's a mimic." penelope finally said causing all of their faces to drop and glance over at penelope. "surprise?"

"No, there's no way. it can't be." luther denied.

"its a reasonable conclusion."

"eh, but there were only seven of us." Klaus mumbled his arms still wrapped around Bonnie.

"maybe we need to consider that there's more. i mean penelope admitted to it." vanya said pointing over to penelope who nodded her head.

"are we surprised? dad never told us the whole truth about anything." Allison scoffed.

bonnie glanced up at Diego who seemed like something was bothering him. "spit it, dad."

"none of us are like blood related right? like we're siblings but not biological siblings—" Diego said glancing at everyone and then down at penelope who shook her head with wide eyes, "right?"

"that's disgusting." sebastian said eyeing Diego who shrugged his shoulders.

"okay, so, if she can mirror out powers, that means anything we throw at her, she can match, right?" Luther said said everyone completely ignoring the weird question that Diego asked.

"yeah, but she can only mirror one of our powers at a time." Klaus pointed out glancing over at Allison who raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side.

"you sure about that?"

"we could at least try."

"SHE never cared about your parents. she was looking for you and penelope." they heard five say to lila inside of the barn. after going over the plan a million times while running over to the barn they knew what they were going to do.

"why?" lila whispered wanting penelope right next to her at that moment. wanting her sisters comfort.

" 'cause you're one of us." Diego said making himself known with penelope besides him. Lila turned around quickly and her eyes widen landing on penelope and then down at their intertwined fingers — instantly jealousy ran through her body. she wanted her sister to herself for once and for all, not for someone else, she doesn't want diego to steal her right when she just got her back.

"mom stole us, lila." penelope said with her sweet like candy voice to lila who's lips started to tremble.

"just like our asshole father took all of us." diego then trailed off squeezing Penelope's hand.

Lila shook her head glancing between them, "no. it's not the same thing." lila backed up as Allison, Klaus, luther, vanya, bonnie and sebastian all entered the barn right behind penelope and diego.

"you're right because he didn't have our parents murdered." diego said and pulling penelope in front of him letting go of her hand so that penelope could talk to her sister.

"lila, listen to me," penelope took a step forward and this time lila didn't move, "we were born October 1, 1989, the same day as the umbrella academy."

"stay back!" lila shouted at the others who were slowly taking a step forward towards her.

"stop moving! just stop!" penelope snapped at everyone who was now in a circle with penelope and lila in the middle. "lila, please."

"pen, i trusted you. i waited for you to come back for me. i waited and waited like the pathetic little sister i was! and you never came! you never came!" lila sobbed shaking her head at penelope who was getting closer to lila. "i just wanted you back, i wanted my sister back."

"lila, im sorry, i am. i was suppose to come back, believe me I was but i just i couldn't okay? when I was going to get back to you i got pregnant and i wish and i regret not going back for you because you would have been a wonderful aunt to sebastian when he was younger. you still could be, lila. please forgive me, im here now and i promise — i fucking promise i will never ever leave you again."

Lila continued shaking her head wiping furiously the tears that were running down her cheeks.

"mom was using us, lila."

"you're wrong. she raised us, pen. she loves us." lila denied dropping her arms to the side of her body and looked directly at penelope.

"yeah, and you know that," luther said making lila turn around and glance over at him, "love shouldn't have to hurt this much. what penelope has for you that's love."

Lila's face soften for a bit before it got hard again and she opened her mouth making a gagging noise and pointing her finger to her mouth.

"all right, i tried."

"he's right. we have to kill her." five said ready to make the next move.

"he never said anything about killing five!" bonnie shouted throwing her hands up in the air and sebastian crossed his arms over his chest.

"i got it. she's my sister and she's going to listen to me because im the big sister." penelope said making lila snap her head over to penelope. "you want the truth? you want me to be hard on you alright. mom is a piece of shit, got it? she's dangerous and you're scared of what she'll do with all that new power so you stay by her side instead of taking my side on this. that's why you dragged me and diego to the commission. the love that you feel for mom isn't the type of love that you're suppose to feel."

"the hell you know about love." lila snapped at penelope despite the fact that she was about to break at any given moment.

"i know more than you. i know how to tell the difference of loving a dangerous person. the difference between the love you have for mom and my love is that i love you back, lila." penelope pointed to herself getting closer to lila.

"Shut up."

"mom has only ever loved herself and power. the minute she couldn't use me she went to you, that's why she depends on you a lot because she can't use me anymore. im all done for."

"penelope i swear to go shut up."

"she will turn on you just like how she didn't to me and you know that." lila quickly took out the knife from her pocket and pointing it to penelope who wasn't afraid of what she could do to her.

"you don't know me, penelope. im not the same girl that you left behind."

"i do know you, lila. im your sister." penelope brought her hand up to the knife and slowly put it down as lila bite her trembling lips trying to blink aqua the tears, "i know that we can be your family — i would love for you to be the official godmother sebastian, i would love for you to give us the opportunity to be your true real family, lila. if you just let us."

lila sniffed you her tears as she glanced at everyone who gave her hopeful looks. Lila them glanced back at penelope finally snapping and letting out the shock sob going into the arms of her sister.

it was only then when the handler walked inside and shot everybody dead, everybody expect penelope and lila.

bonnie dropped to the ground chocking in a raspy breath tilting her head up at five who was just besides her. "f-f-five—"

"shhh, bonnie, im right here."

"I know that we can be your family — i would love for you to be the official godmother sebastian, i would love for you to give us the opportunity to be your true real family, lila. if you just let us."

before lila could say anything else five jumped out of his hiding spot and attacked the handler that walked in ready to shot them all. Sebastian took out his gun, bonnie her butterfly knife, penelope held lila close to her arms while Diego stood in front of her, vanya Allison and luther stood there confused and Klaus made some karate hand movements.

"it's true, isn't it?" lila asked turning around in Penelope's arm and moving to stand next to her, "what five said, what penelope said. answer me! is it true?"

"well—" the handler started to say but in seconds someone front behind her shot her dead shooting her in the stomach. penelope and lila glanced at each other in horror.

"im sorry." lila whispered to penelope confusing the women as lila pulled penelope along with her hooking her hand onto the briefcase zipping them away.

"great, now im an orphan." sebastian threw his arms up in the air and turned around anxiously.

everyone stared worried between the Swedish guy and five who held each other at fun point. that was until five dropped the gun and held his hands up saying, "enough."

the Swedish glanced at everyone at his eyes widen at Allison who backed up but the Swedish guy cracked his neck his eyes landing back at five. "enough." he said in Sweden and with that he left.

bonnie jogged up to five and brought him in a tight hug which he instantly hugged her back tightly as her could. he watched her die, twice now and both times she's always back. it scared him knowing that if anything like this happens again he won't be able to save her anymore. that she won't come back to his arms.

"i almost had them. why the hell did you stop you?" luther snapped at Diego who was beneath him.

the man glanced at sebastian who was glaring at him and then over at luther, "because im in love with penelope."

"oh goody," sebastian said giving Diego a sarcastic smile, "im still an orphan."

"Don't worry, I'll take care of you." diego grunted standing up from the floor making sebastian groan loudly and glance up at the sky pretending to pray. something caught Diego's eyes — her necklace.

"who the hell was that guy?" Klaus asked not knowing what was going on.

"vanya! help!" Sissy shouted from far inside of the barn.

bonnie let go of five and they gave each other a look completely forgetting that they had a kid to save. the umbrella academy plus bonnie and sebastian followed after vanya down stairs where Harlan was huddled in the corner still with the electricity flowing around him in a rapid pace.

they couldn't really hear what vanya was saying to Harlan but the next thin they were seeing was vanya putting her hands in Harlan's knees and trying to get his powers to go into her. it was to the point where all of Harlan's powers — or so it seemed — went back to vanya causing a big blue electricity light to blind them all.

"oh, baby. oh, baby. oh!" sissy sobbed running over to Harlan cradling him in her arms and kissing his head in relief.

vanya glanced up at her family a soft smile appeared on her lips as they stayed with her through everything — this time actually helping her go through it.

IT was at night and they were all finishing up their things by saying goodbye and letting go of things. Sebastian and bonnie were sitting on the stairs of the front of the house waiting for the rest.

"bon," sebastian whispered making Bonnie turned her head over to him. "im tired."

bonnie gave him a soft smile and brought her hand up to his head and dropped it down to her shoulder softly. they were all tired physically and mentally — it was a day of craziness and nothing made sense to sebastian. he had a aunt, he had a family now, his mom was gone and he doesn't know when he'll see her again and he's going to 2019 with his now bigger family — it just doesn't click in his mind.

"hey, kids." diego breathed out stepping down the stairs. bonnie and sebastian seperated letting Diego go and sit between them. the three sat there in silence before diego sighed deeply, "you guys are my responsibility now, okay?"

"you don't have to." sebastian grumbled underneath his breath. his ego was too big to admit that he did like diego for his mom and he liked him in general, wasn't such a bad man after all.

"i want too. i have two kids now." diego said with an excited tone laced in his voice holding up two fingers shoving them in both Bonnie's and Sebastians face causing them to laugh and shove his fingers away.

"i dont have to call you dad right?" Sebastian asked in horror even though that at some point it was going to slip. Diego chuckled deeply and shook his head.

"naw, just diego."

"okay," sebastian said nodding his head, "just Diego."

diego stood up with a laugh ruffling Sebastian's hair along with Bonnie's which they both gasped and fixed their hair almost immediately. even if they weren't his kids they still had similarities with him.

five ran down the stairs with the breifcase in hand holding his other hand out to Bonnie who smoothly slid down her hand to his intertwining them together.

the umbrella academy plus bonnie and sebastian all created a circle around the briefcase, "everyone ready?"

"let's do it, yeah." luther quickly said nodding his head ready than ever to go back to 2019 and out of this timeline.

"okay." five said nodding head, everyone grabbing onto each other which one of them had their hand on five or on his shoulder.

"wait!" Klaus then interrupted loudly giving them a look and then running over to where he placed his hat.

"fifty bucks if we leave him here." diego whispered over to five who was considering it but quickly dropped it when bonnie gave him a look.

"okay." Klaus said making hate that his hat was put on properly before sticking his hand out for vanya to grab which she did.

five then unlocked the briefcase and opened it up and it a matter of seconds the family was back at the academy — only problem was that they weren't the only ones there in 2019.

and they weren't the umbrella academy but the sparrow academy.
