chapter one, episode one
are you an alien?

FIVE didn't know where he was all that he know was that he was at the academy but no one was alive. no one was there anymore and everything was destroyed. the only thing that it could mean is the end of the world.

the first one he saw dead was Luther, he had a eyeball in his hand which he took with him. he then saw Allison, Diego and Klaus. he continued to look around the area and everyone, every single person was dead.

he turned to his left and a few miles away was a white light that was dying down but it was very very bright. he placed the eyeball inside of his pocket and walked slowly over to the white light that was transparent and it kept on dying out and then going back up.

once he got much more closer than he was before he noticed that there was a girl inside of the transparent bubble. she had fiery red hair that was dirty and in a messy ponytail due to what she had just been doing. she was curled up in a ball with her arms around her legs.

as he walked closer the bubble died down even more and more until the bubble was gone and he was about two feet away from her. the girl took a deep shaky breath feeling a certain presence and glanced up slowly over to five who backed away a little with his eyebrows frowned.

her blue eyes locked with his eyes and all he saw was pain, suffer and hopeless. she closed her eyes letting a tear fall from her left eye before she collapsed with the ground but her head didn't hit the ground since five was fast enough to catch her just in time to let her down slowly.

five didn't know who this girl was, he didn't know how just in a little amount of seconds his mind was filled with pure questions of the girl.

the girl opened her eyes one more time and looked down to her hand before then closing her eyes and she took one last deep breath and exhaled, taking in her last breath.

once five made sure that she wasn't breathing anymore he looked down at her hand that held a small purple teddy bear. it was dirty and it's neck was ripped apart. he didn't know why he grabbed it and took it with him but he did.

since then five hasn't been able to take his mind away from the mystery girl he met or what was the white bubble surrounding her was.

"I can't find it!" Bonnie shouted as she teared the entire room apart. Diego sat on the stairs as he watched the younger girl take off all the covers and look inside of every single drawer.

Bonnie and Diego have a similar relationship as a father and daughter. he saw Bonnie in the fighting ring and he always talked to her after words, he then found out that Bonnie was living like a street cat and decided to take her under his wing.

"Diego, I can't fucking find that purple little shit!" the girl was 16 still could never get rid of the bunny that she has held on ever since her parents died.

"have you checked the dirty clothes?"

"yes!"

"your cabinet?"

"yes! even yours!"

"under the bed?"

"yes!" Bonnie was helpless throwing herself on the bed with a frown on her face as Diego stood up from the stairs and walked over towards Bonnie.

"look, kid, i have to go to my dads funeral and once I get back I'll help you find it." Diego said before sticking his hand out towards Bonnie who glared at his hand, "deal?"

Bonnie couldn't wait that long. it was about three hours later and she was bored out of her mind. she messed around with a few of Diego's knifes throwing them at the wall and at the ceiling. when then she couldn't taken it anymore so she put on a pair of shorts and one of Diego's white shirts which covered her shorts and out on her converse before heading out of the studio.

she knew where the academy was since she goes there sometimes when she needs some clothes. Diego told Allison about Bonnie and Allison implied that she could get any of her clothes which she did.

she rounded the corner and she noticed a bright blue light shining from the sky in the alley way. walking towards that in front of her was Diego, Allison, Klaus and Luther.

"is that a ufo?" she asked and Diego quickly grabbed her arm and placed her behind him.

"who's that?" Luther asked Diego.

"Diego's adoptive daughter." Klaus joked still looking at the shiny blue sky.

"Bonnie she's been living with me since two years ago but yet you wouldn't know that since you've been on the moon on a fake mission." Diego snapped at Luther who was going to come back with something argue about when the someone old appeared in the middle of the bright blue circle.

"everybody get behind me." Luther shouted getting in the front and then Diego also went in the front. "yeah, get behind us."

"I vote for running, c'mon!" Klaus said and Bonnie nodded her head going to follow Klaus when Diego grabbed her arm and pulled her behind him.

the electricity of the blue light started to crackle and Bonnie noticed a change in the man going from a young boy around her age to a older man with grey hair. the thunder faded when the boy fell to the ground.

everyone slowly made their way towards the boy who everyone expect Bonnie knew. "does anyone else see little number five, or is that just me?" Klaus asked as they watched five check his body noticing that he was a boy which Bonnie found confusing.

"shit." five said before his eyes drifted to everyone and then it landed on Bonnie. his eyes lingered on her for a while which everyone noticed and Diego stood in front of Bonnie who peaked on the side of his shoulder sending him a smirk.

"don't even think about it, bon." Diego whispered to Bonnie who sighed in defeat starting to head inside and soon after everyone else followed right behind her while the boy just teleported.

"what's the date? the exact date." five asked as he grabbed bread laying it on the tablet. Klaus and Bonnie sat on the table with their legs crossed while the rest sat on a seat of the table.

"The 24th."

"of what?"

"March."

"are you an alien?" Bonnie couldn't help but wonder as she had her head resting in her hand looking suspiciously at five who ignored her. even though he spend the entire apocalypse thinking about the girl who know he is saying a few feet away from him with his family.

all the million questions roaming around his head once again.

"so, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther said but five didn't respond so Bonnie slammed her hand on her knee leaning forward.

"I think he's an alien." she whispered to Luther who turned around and glared at Bonnie who leaned back towards Diego who was standing behind her.

"what are you even doing here? this is a family matter." Luther said and Bonnie grabbed a knife that was tucked inside of her converse and stuck it out towards him. Diego quickly took it away with a smile placing it away in his pockets.

"don't talk to her like that." five snapped at Luther who then turned around to look at him confused along with everyone else.

"what he said, don't talk to her like that. she's family ever since you left the moon." Luther ignored what Diego said ad stood up hovering over five.

"it's been seventeen years."

"it's been a lot longer than that." Five scoffed as he spatial jumped to grab something from the top shelf.

"I haven't missed that."

"that's normal?" Bonnie whispered asked to Klaus who nodded his head before dropping his head on Bonnie's shoulder who placed her head softly on top of his.

"where'd you go?" Diego asked five.

"the future. it's shit, by the way." Five said and Klaus raised a finger, "called it."

"I was hoping it was butterflies and rainbows and unicorns." Bonnie said pouting out her lips. she was only joking she rather die than live in a world where it was filled with butterflies, rainbows and unicorns.

"I should've listened to the old man." Five said walking normally over to the fridge opening it up. "you know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice." five lifted his head up and he forced himself to look somewhere other than her so his eyes landed on Klaus and his skirt. "Nice dress."

Klaus lifted his hand up playing with the hem of the skirt, "oh, well, danke!"

"wait, how did you get back?"

"in the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time."

"can you word it with words for dummies?" Bonnie asked which earned a smack in the head from Diego.

"that makes no sense."

"well, it would if you were smarter." Diego stood up and Bonnie without even looking grabbed his spandex costume shirt and held him still.

"how long were you there?" Luther asked holding a arm out in front of Diego.

"Forty-five years. Give or take." Luther said back down and Diego went back to standing next to Bonnie.

"wait so you're like around 58?" Bonnie asked leaning forward with her head laying in her hands. Five lifted his head from making his sandwich and locked eyes with Bonnie who tilted her head to the side.

"No, my consciousness is 58. apparently, my body is now 16 again." Five said placing the bread on top of his peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

"wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asked. she was the only girl in the academy and she was most likely the one that Bonnie liked to talk things about since she knows more about the real worlds than the others.

"Delores kept saying the equations were off. eh." Bonnie looked over at the rest of the family who had zero clue on what was going on, "bet she's laughing now."

"Delores?"

"I have now learned to not ask questions because then you'll get dumber and dumber each time." Bonnie said still in the same position watching every move of the boy she most likely thinks is an alien.

Bonnie decided to tune out the rest of the conversation as she closed her eyes and ended up falling asleep. Klaus softly moved her body to lay her head on his lap and her soft snores the kitchen.

five was ready to leave when he then stopped looking over at Diego. "that's Bonnie moore, right?"

Diego nodded his head making five move his eyes down to Bonnie who was soundly asleep and nod his head before going to his room to change.

"does anyone else notice how he looks at Bon Bon?" Klaus asked his fingers brushing the strands of hair away from her face. he looked around to see if everyone agreed but they all left him making him sigh deeply.

"i have a feeling that a thing is gonna happen between them. don't you think, Ben?"

"sure whatever you say Klaus."
