Chapter 8

Baekhyun had slipped into bed the night before and all his mate did was snuggle up next to him.

Chanyeol was obviously
exhausted and hadn't had a good night sleep in a very long time. 

Baekhyun didn't want to try and imagine the life his mate had been living because all it did was anger him.

He was just glad he had found his soulmate  before they killed him.

Bawkhyun was asleep when he felt something tickle his nose. He tried to ignore the sensation but then felt something soft and wet on his cheek.

He lazily opened his eyes just in time to catch the little blue pup lick his cheek again.

"aren't you precious" he said with a smile before hugging the pup which yipped in happiness from the contact.

"I was hoping our first kiss would be in human form. Please shift for me" he said as he let go of the pup.

Chanyeol was now used to spending his nights in wolf form and so it wasn't shocking that he had shifted in his sleep.

He felt great and refreshed when he woke up and seeing the handsome male sleeping next to him just reminded him of all that happened. He was finally free and had met his mate who had not rejected him.

He went deep into the blankets and a big lump appeared before he stuck out his his head to peek at his mate.

He still wasn't confident about his looks and scars.

"Don't hide from me. I want to see your beautiful face" Baekhyun said before Chanyeol crawled out next to him.

He was naked and so he kept his Bottom Half covered.

Baekhyun brushed his hair back to reveal the hidden part of his face.

"Beautiful"  the dragon said before looking down at his delicate mates pink lucious lips.

Baekhyun couldn't hold himself anymore as he leaned forward to taste the lips that had been tempting him since the first time Chanyeol shifted.

Chanyeol felt sparks spread across his body and couldn't help but moan at the contact.

Baekhyun licked his bottom lip causing the omega to open ip to him as he dipped his tongue in his mouth.

Baekhyuns hands travelled down his mates body wanting to feel every part of him and soon grabbing his ass and loving the sounds Chanyeol was making for him. It was such a turn on.

But it was when Baekhyun moved to his neck and grazed his fangs that Chanyeols body tensed and shook in fear.

Broken out of his haze of lust Baekhyun turned to his mate with concerned eyes and Chanyeol  looked like he was close to tears.

"What's wrong baby? Did I do something wrong? Did I hurt you?" The dragon asked.

"No...no...its...just"  Chanyeol wwnt silent as the tears flowed down his face.

Baekhyun held him close until he felt better and askwd him again what was wrong.

"I'm sorry...its just that...the last time someone kissed me...was also the time I got bitten...I would understand if you rejected me. I'm contaminated and..."

"Shhhh... baby listen to me. I'm not and never going to reject you. I'm definitely going to murder the person that hurt you but I would never hurt you. We are mates and soon I will need to mark you but I will only do that when you're ready. You're also going to mark me as well but only when you're ready okay" Baekhyun said as he gazed into his blue eyes.

"okay" Chanyeol responded with a shy smile which Baekhyun couldn't resist but kiss again.

Baekhyun was definitely going to find the man that scarred his mate into fear. And he was going to rip him to pieces.

Chanyeol hid his face under the covers when his stomach growled.

"I guess its time for breakfast"  Baekhyun said with a laugh.

Baekhyun was able to convince his shy mate to take a bath with him and used all his self control not to jump the beautiful male since he promised to wait for his approval.

Soon they were both clean and dressed.

Chanyeol was in a blue hoodie and jeans Baekhyun was able to get for him but more clothes he had ordered the night before would arrive later in the day.

They got down for breakfast and Chen couldn't believe how cut Chanyeol was.

He wanted to touch the pup but Baekhyuns possessive growl kept him away.

This was all new to Chanyeol but he had to admit he loved the way Baekhyun was protective over him and treated him like a precious gem.

There was lots of food but Chanyeol could only handle a little but still ended up throwing up because he wasn't used to eating at all.

"Chanyeol when was the last time you ate and how often did you eat and what did you eat?" Kyungsoo asked after the omega was done throwing up in a bucket with Baekhyun caressing his back and shoulders in comfort.

"maybe once in a week or two and the I was only given dog food because I wasn't worthy of human food since I wasn't a full human or wolf. I honestly don't remember the last time I ate" Chanyeol said keeping his head down.

He felt Baekhyuns hand tense before letting go and walking out in a rush before they heard a loud roar in the distance.

"Is...is he mad with me?" Chanyeol asked as he looked up to face the others. They were all giving him sad looks.

"No Chanyeol. He is angry with the people that hurt and abused you. I am too. Just let him cool off. It affects him the most because you are mates. Come take a seat and I will make you some porrige. We will have to give you a strict diet to get your body used to normal food again. Okay" Kyungsoo explained making the omega feel better.

He missed Baekhyun already and hoped he would be back soon.
