Chanyeol was exhausted after a few more tests with the doctors and went straight to sleep.

Baekhyun only left his side when he was safely tucked into his bed safe and sound.

He mindlinked his main team for a meeting.

When he got to the boardroom where they held all their meetings and was also sound proof even from superhearing, Kyungsoo, Kai, Lay, Xuimin, Suho and Chen where already there.

Suho was one of the oldest  dragons whose role was one of an elder and was also Lays mate.

They met after Lay had been rescured from being a slave.

Lay was one of the few unlucky dragons whose family had been killed and he was captured at a young age.

He thought his life was normal until he met Baekhyun by mistake, who saved him and taught him he was never meant to be a slave to anyone but be free.

He had been captured by the same man that tortured Chanyeol but he always seemed to slip right through of their fingers.

Chen was Xiumins mate and also a rare type of dragon. He was part of an old tribe that was almost extinct and called ice dragons.

Instead of fire they breathed ice and lived in hidden ice mountains. They were said to have been created by the ice queen herself.

She was rejected by her lover because of her powers and ran away to the highest mountains which froze over.

When she became lonely she created ice dragons all over and talked to them and one day they all came to life to protect her when she was attacked.

"Congratulations on finding your mate" Suho said with a bow.

"Congratulations your highness. I hear his gorgeous"  Chen said with hia usual smile and his mate nudged him in the side to behave and they bowed along with everyone else. 

"Take your seats I have a feeling this will take a while" Baekhyun said as they all settled down.

It had been a long day and night and none of them didn't get a wink on sleep.

"Thank you. He is exceptionally beautiful and i can't believe his mine"

"And when were you planning on telling me ?" They all turned to see his grandmother enter the door with an all too familiar woman by her side.

They all stood for the old queen but she told them to sit down as she settled next to her grandson.

"I'm sorry grandmother. Its been one thing after another. I don't mean to be rude but why are you here?" Baekhyun asked as he looked at his grandmother nd the well known witch Sumni who sat by her side.

Everyone knew she had gone to see her friend because she missed her but expected to see her in a few days time.

"I'm sorry but I lied about the reason I left. I was also worried about the missing fledglings and hoped Sumni would be able to find thwm without causing too much havoc. The wolf King has been looking for a reason to start a war and I didn't want you to give him one. But then what I discovered was way bigger than what I expected. For one it was the fact that your mate was not a dragon and that you would finally meet him. Don't worry I'm just as happy and don't mind what he is. Sumni will explain the rest"  Grandma Byun said before turning to her old friend.

They were almost the same age of about a 500 years but Sumni looked like a teen while her friend looked like an 50 year old woman.

"I know you're all wondering what he is but first thing you should know is that he was turned and wasn't born a wolf"

"So he was human. But shouldn't he have completely turned into a werewolf when he was bitten?"  Suho asked.

"Yes he should have. If he was completely human" Sumni explained.

"How do you know all this? I know you're not a seer and you haven't even met him so how do you know so much?" Baekhyun asked while trying to contain his anger that they had infected his mate with the wolf gene.

"Don't supress your anger your highness. I am also disappointed the wolves bit him. The trasformation was only meant to be done by his mate. That is what was intended.  To answer your question I have to tell you a story" Sumni said before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath spreading a calming aura around the room.

Those were special powers that she could feel and manipulate emotions.

"They was a human couple that wanted a child so badly but no matter what they did the wife could not conceive. But then one day this couple approached a wich they had heard about in the markets. They begged her and offered all they had for a child. The witch had compassion for them and decided to help them. The only problem was they couldn't have a child naturally but only with the help of magic.  This meant their child would not be human but a supernatural child unlike any species that has been born before. The child I speak of is your mate your highness" Sumni explained leaving everyone speechless.

"Is there anyway to undo what the wolves have done?" Bawkhyun asked.

"I don't know but all I hope is that when you mark him your genes overide the wolf genes. They will always be there but hopefully not dorminant" Sumni said.

"So he is like a hybrid. He will be part human, wolf and dragon?" Kyungsoo asked?

"Something like that. But only time will tell" Sumni said.

"I have only heard about that with nekos but they are very rare. Other than that its either you shift into complete animal or complete human" Suho added.

"Either way he is my mate and I don't care if he is a wolf or human. I will love him and protect him with my life" Baekhyun said before walking out and headed to his room.

He already missed his mate and soon everyone followed except the old queen and her best friend.

"Why don't you want to tell them about the prophecy?" Sumni asked.

"Because some things they need to discover on their own. We just need to protect our little pup for now"
