~~~~~~
"Daddy!!!!~" A little girl squealed as she ran for Blurr's ped, hugging it tightly.
Who was she?
"Did you have a good trip?" She smiled, letting go to encircle him, looking his frame up and down with her bright blue eyes.
Blurr found himself nodding, a sense of happiness and love washing over his spark.
"And you're not hurt!" She squealed again with delight, making Blurr bend down to pick up her small, delicate frame in his large servo. "Can we go play now?"
Blurr nuzzled her torso, a smile gracing his facial plates. "We can do what ever you want." He laughed.
"I love you." He heard her whisper, feeling small hands on his cheeks.
Blurr didn't know who she was or why she claimed he was her sire, but the unyielding amount of love he felt from her, the trust and the amount which she relied on him so much; possessed him to say it back, with all the meaning he could muster.
"I love you too."
~~~~~~

Blurr onlined his optics to see warm sun rays filtering through his window. The sounds of the nearby city could softly be heard. Feeling something resting against his arm, he turned his helm, finding Soundwave still recharging beside him.

Slowly, he sat up, feeling a dull ache in his spark, causing him to rub his chassis, trying to rid the feeling.

Suddenly, a soft knock came from his door, his mother peering her helm in. "Blurr, Soundwave. You guys awake?" She asked with a small smile.

She was so kind, so gentle, Blurr thought. But he knew that she had a dark past. That all of them did. But every time he asked, or tried to look in the Hall of Relics, it was restricted. All he knew, was the statue of him and Soundwave; a girl standing in his palm, the one from his dream. But he couldn't remember.......why?

"Blurr." He looked up seeing her before him. Instantly he felt her arms around him, drawing him in for a hug. "What's wrong?"

Blurr closed his optics, taking in her warmth and protection she had to offer through the bond. "I don't know, I think it's just growing pains is all." He somewhat told the truth.

Winterbloom smiled, pulling away then looking to the still recharging Soundwave.

"Soundy... wake up!" She lightly pushed his helm, watching his face crinkle as he tried to force him self to stay in recharge.

"Soundwave!" Blurr smacked his stomach, watching the purple mech jolt awake, Winterbloom laughing at the reaction.

"You two, get up and get-"

The two mechs looked to their mother suddenly, watching as she quickly turned around and ran out of the room.

"Mother?" Blurr followed suit, quickly catching up to her while the slower Soundwave gave chase after them.

"Mother. Mother what's wrong?" Blurr grabbed her arm, pulling her away from the door.

Their optics met and Blurr was forced to let go. "Both of you need to come with me." She exited out side and ran to Chromas house, opening the door and shouting inside.

"Chroma! Choroma!" Blurr and Soundwave came up behind, looking to each other with confusion and worry.

"O-over here.." A loud, pained voice came from the back room.

Winterbloom immediately went into the back hall, in Ironhides room, finding the femme with the swollen stomach, curled up on the floor in fetal position.

"Chroma!" Winterbloom knelt by her side, almost panicking. "Is it the sparkling? Are you about to give birth?"

"I need to get to the...ngh!"

Winterbloom turned to her sons at the door way, a look of horror on their face. "Blurr, Soundwave, help her to the berth, now!"

The two mechs did as asked, helping the sparked femme to the berth, wary and cautious to touch or harm her.

Winterbloom contacted Ironhide and Ratchet, but they were all the way in Paraxis which was about 2 hours away.

{:How far along is she?:} Ratchet asked through the comm.

Winterbloom looked back, {:What's that suppose to mean?:} She asked. "Blurr, Sounds'. Go to the house and grab the box Ratchet gave me."

As the two mechs left to their home, a loud resounding shout of surprise and discuss came from Chromas home.

"Sparkling birth, very confusing." Soundwave supplied as they went inside.

~~~~
The brothers returned, finding Chroma shouting out with pain, their own mother trying to calm her and force her to do something relating to breathing.
"Just take deep ventilation's, alright? Easy."
Chroma began to calm, lying back against the berth, her armor nearly sweltering as she forced air through her vents, calming her raging spark.
"Mother we got the-" Blurr didn't get to finish as she quickly snatched it out of his servo.
Winterbloom opened the box, pulling out a towel of sorts before wadding it up in her servos then spreading it across the sparked femmes large stomach.
"This'll help calm the sparkling down." Winterbloom smiled to Chroma who was beginning to slip into recharge.
Blurr and Soundwave watched with curious optics by the door, hoping that everything was alright. It wasn't until Winterbloom smiled, sitting down by the berth, did they realize everything was going smoothly.
"Mother..." Soundwave suddenly said. "You did not birth Blurr and I.... did you?" His question was so out of the blue and random, that there was a long pause as they stared at each other.
"Soundwave, what are you playing at? Of course she birthed us!" Blurr looked to her as well, optics pleading. Hoping that it was true.
"Well....... I don't know." She supplied, unsure.
"Wait.... so." Blurr began. "We.. we might not be your s-sparklings?" His voice quivered as his sadness began to bleed through the bond. His entire being beginning to shatter at the thought.
Winterbloom immediately got up, hugging both her sons tightly. "You don't have to be born by my energon to be my sons. It's simply the bonds which we hold between us that make us family." Winterbloom smiled, sending warmth and love through the bond to them.
She felt Blurr begin to calm, a sense of peace be falling him.
Suddenly Ratchet and Ironhide barged in, vents heaving as their systems were forced past their limits.
"Chroma!" 'Hide immediately went beside her, taking her servo into his.
Winterbloom watched the intimate moment, a pool of warmth filling her systems. "How has she been?" Ratchet suddenly asked, making her blink back into reality.
"She's been in recharge a little under an hour." Winterbloom supplied, looking back at the pair.
"Alright. Winterbloom I'm going to need you. All mechs, out!" The medic pointed to the door.
Ironhide immediately began to protest; Winterblooms sons having to pull him out of the room so their mother and the Doc Bot could help deliver the sparkling.
~~~~

3 hours later

The three mechs sat in the living room, hearing loud shouts and yells. Groans and curses of pain. It simply sounded like someone was being tortured.

But when all became quiet, did Ironhide barge in demanding to see his family. And in the arms of his sparkmate, was the smallest sparkling he'd ever laid optics upon. Slowly, he went by her berthside, smiling and kissing Chroma on the forehelm.

"I know you said you wanted to name this one.... but I really wanted to name her after someone who I look up to." She leaned up to kiss Ironhide, smiling softly.

Ironhides optics widened. "It's a femme?"

Winterbloom watching with happiness.

Chroma looked to her, a warm smile on her face. "Her name will be Lily, in honor of her helping us return home. To have a family."

Ratchet and Ironhides optics were wide with surprise.

"I think.... I think that's a beautiful name." 'Hide said, kissing his newest sparklings helm.

"I wanted to honor the memory of her, and I thought, this was the proper way to do it." Chroma gently rubbed her sparklings servo, wondering just what she'll be when she grew up.

Ratchet smiled and he cleaned his servos off. Getting ready do a quick scan, making sure everything was healthy and no damage or anything was done. What was frightening, was the silence of the sparking. There was not fussing, or crying. That meant something, just wasn't right.

At that moment, Blurr's spark began to ache, making him flinch slightly. Looking up, he saw tears in his mothers optics. He could also feel Soundwave's unsettling worry as everything seemed to mix into swirls of color.

"bLuRr??" He heard the slurred voice of Ratchet and suddenly the gasp of Chroma as his vision went dark. His frame collapsing on the ground.

Soundwave quickly knelt beside him. "Blurr? Blurr!" His older brother tried to reach him through the bond, but it was like talking to a wall.

Ratchet started towards him until Winterblooms own frame fell, Ironhide catching her before she could hit the floor.

"W-what happened?!" Ironhide yelled.

Ratchet quickly scanned the both of them, comming a transport. "Their sparks..." He began, looking at Blurr then to Winterbloom. "They're out of sync."

It was then, that the sparkling began to wail, her piercing cries making everyone flinch. Blurr's mouth opened wide as he gasped for air, his vents open on reflex from the pain as his servos clawed at his chassis. Winterblooms own frame reacted similarly to his, but not as intense.

"Ratchet.... what's wrong with them." Soundwave looked up to the medic with worried optics.

"I...I don't know."

So for 3-4 weeks of not updating, how was it? Because I had extreme writers block and just no inspiration.
