Lennox was counting heads, making sure every Autobot got aboard the C-17. But when the newest member strode up, the captain was utterly confused.

"Blurr, right?" He asked which the bot nodded as confirmation. "You need to get into your alt mode."

Blurr would've stuttered in his steps if he were walking. Thankfully Ratchet wheeled down the ramp in his yellow medic jeep.

"Captain lennox. Due to Blurr's makeup, he cannot transform. He will always be in bipedal form."

Lennox had a look of disbelief and sighed. "How are we going to get him back to base then?"

Blurr suddenly felt that it was time to speak to the human. "If you give me the cordenants, then I could go there my self.

Just like that, the blue autobot was off, dissapearing in the blink of an eye.

Blurr didn't know what he should do when arriving at the base. It only took him an hour and quite frankly, he was running low on energon.

He was far from the base, but not close either. Choosing a large tree, Blurr sat down opening his chest plates and pulled out the human sparkling. He watched as his spark was reluctant to let go, but did so when her bright green eyes met his own optics.

"Are you all right little one?" Blurr spoke softly as she looked at his metal hand with wide eyes.

"Ummm.... what? Who are you?" She asked, crawling over to hug his thumb in fear of falling.

Blurr smiled behind his face mask. "My name is Blurr from the Elite Guard. I am an Autobot now under the command of Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots."

She nodded trying to understand. "My name is Lily. I'm seven years old." She smiled. Blurr felt his spark pulse at her pure innocence.

A C-17 flew over head causing Blurr to get up, startling Lily. "My apoligies." He said to the girl holding his thumb with a death grip. "You must hide in my spark chamber until we get somewhere secluded."

"Are you not allowed to have kids at your home?"

Blurr tilted his helm thinking about what she asked. "No, I'm not suppose to have sparklings but you have no where else to go, and I have made it my duty to protect you." Lily looked as though she was going to cry, but smiled. "Please, wait in my spark chamber for a little while longer."

Blurr walked into the hanger where all the Autobots were and searched for the human captain and Prime.
He had to find them quickly before Ratchet or Jolt would scan him, discovering the human child which he hid within him.

"Watch out!" A cry erupted making Blurr nearly trip. A black human looked up at him annoyed before laughing light heartedly.

"You gotta be careful man. We humans aren't always as quick as you think." Blurr knelt infront of him lowering his optics in shame.

"My apologies. I haven't quite grasped the idea of life forms smaller than my foot."

The black human laughed, "The name's Epps. Listen I have to head to a debriefing but I'll catch up with you later."

Blurr nodded standing to watch him leave.

"They are an intreaging race, are they not?" The speedster turned to see the commander leaning against a wall with his arms crossed. A smile placed on his face plates.

"They are...." Blurr began thinking of the proper word. "They have... potential."

"Blurr." The Primes voice grew a little darker, making the younger bot shift on his peds. "What has happened to Ultra Magnus?"

Heaving a sigh through his vents, the blue mech answered sullenly, "Only Primus knows. Last I saw him was in Iocon. He ordered the Elite Guard to get on the Ark-"

"You didn't. " It wasn't a question but an accusing tone.

"You are correct." Blurr looked towards all the humans gathering in the hanger. "How could I leave my commander behind? Ultra Magnus and I escaped he city together but as we neared a transport pod, we were ambushed." Optimus sighed, "all I know, is that he escaped and is out there somewhere."

There was a long silence between the two bots. Where both were thinking, however enjoying the silence. Especially if you were in the presence of family.

"Captain Lennox." Optimus suddenly caught sight of the NEST capain. "As you may already know, Blurr is a special type of Autobot and needs a chamber, due to the fact that he cannot transform."

The human on the platform nodded waving for Blurr to follow.

"Well it's nothing special but we'll get a bed or what ever you call it, in here soon." The human smiled eyeing the bot.

Lennox was fascinated how much this Autobot resembled a human from the lack of armor he had. Finally realizing he was gawking the newest member, he turned quickly to leave.

Blurr sat in the corner, opening up his chest plates before Lily apeared in his servos.

The blue mech smiled as he found her eyes closed and a steady heart beat signaling that she was asleep.

Deciding it would be best, Blurr to went into recharge with her pressed protectively against his chassis.
