The Benders -- Almost

Dean's POV

After linking the noise and the car together, Kathleen and I decided to follow up on every traffic cam to see where they headed. "Okay, the next traffic cam is fifty miles from here, and the pickup didn't pass that one, so...." Kathleen spoke up, pointing to the passing camera.

"So, it must've pulled off somewhere. I didn't see any other roads here." I replied, looking down at the map in my hands.

"Well, a lot of these backwoods properties have their own private roads." She explained and I sighed deeply, putting the map down.

"Great." I muttered sarcastically, looking out the window in frustration. Just knowing that Sam and Lottie could be in any one of these houses was killing me. Something could be happening to them, and I'd be helpless.

"So, Gregory." Kathleen breathed out and I turned to look at her.

"Yeah?"

"I ran your badge number. It's routine when we're working a case with state police. For accounting purposes and what you have." She explained, looking at the small computer in front of her.

"Mmmhmm." I mumbled, a little wary of where she was heading with this.

"And, uh, they just got back to me." She pulled the car off to the side of the road and turned to look at me. "It says your badge was stoel." She raised an eyebrow and my eyes widened in surprise. "And there's a picture of you." She turned the computer around to show a picture of a heavy weighted, African American man.

"I lost some weight," I chuckled nervously. "And I got that Michael Jackson skin disease."

Kathleen takes off her seat belt. "Okay, would you step out of the car, please?"

"Look, look, look," I began to bed and she stopped. "If you wanna arrest me, that's fine. I'll cooperate, I swear, but first, please-let me find Sam and Lottie."

"I don't even know who you are. Or if these Sam and Carlotta people are even missing." She said firmly, looking at me with hard eyes.

I looked her directly in the eyes and clenched my jaw. "Look into my eyes and tell me if I'm lying about this."

"Identity theft? You're impersonating an officer."

"Look, here's the thing. When we were young, I pretty much pulled Sam from a fire. And ever since then, I've felt responsible for him. Like it's my job to keep him safe." I whispered, trying to get her to understand.

Her eyes softened a bit. "And what about Carlotta?"

"God, I've known her almost my entire life. I remember the firs day I saw her. God, she and I butted heads." I chuckled a bit, looking down at the tattoo on my wrist, running my finger over it. "We just... grew on each other... and before I knew it, I was crazy for her. God, I fell so hard for her. She has this accent, and when she got mad, it slipped right out, no matter how hard she tried to cover it. It's probably the best thing about her. Her eyes just light up when she laughs, or when she gets angry. She's confident, gorgeous, and for some reason, she loves me back." I looked over to see her staring out the windshield. "I'm just afraid if we don't find them fast- please." I paused, tears started to gather in my eyes. My voice started to break as my emotions went out of control. "They're my family.

"I'm sorry. You've given me no choice. I have to take you in." She breathed out, and I closed my eyes. "After we find Sam Winchester and Carlotta Bellway." She suddenly said, making relief wash over me. I smiled at her, grateful she was cooperating.

Carlotta's POV

I gazed in mild curiosity as Sam continued trying to pull the metal cord from the beam. "What are your names again?" Jenkins muttered.

"Carlotta." I reply before sinking my face into my knees again.

"It's Sam." Sam heaved out as he tugged harder.

"Why don't you give it up, Sammy. There's no way out." Jenkins told him.

"Don't.... Call me.... Sammy!" He grunted out, finally tearing the cord down. A small piece of metal fell to the floor along with it, making my eyebrows furrow. I reached my hand out to grasp it, holding it up and staring at it curiously.

"What is it?" Jenkins asked curiously as I placed it in Sam's hand.

"It's a bracket."

"Well, thank god. A bracket! Now we've got 'em, huh?" Jenkins said sarcastically. His door flung open, shocking the three of us. "Must've been a short." He climbed to his feet and shuffled out of his cage. "Maybe you knocked something loose."

"That was too easy. I think you  should get back in your cage, Jenkins." I say sternly, standing up.

"What?" Jenkins looked at me in confusion.

"This isn't right," Sam said, backing me up.

"Don't you wanna get out of here?" Jenkins snapped.

"Yeah, but that was way to easy, especially if you're excited for Ned Beatty times." I retort, tugging at my cage door.

"Look, I'm gonna get out of here, and I'm gonna send help, okay? Don't worry." Jenkins tried to assure but the sinking feeling in my gut wouldn't vanish.

"No, I'm serious, Jenkins - this might be a trap!" Sam yelled.

"Bye, Sammy! Carlotta!" Jenkins called as he ran out the door.

"Jenkins!" Sam and I shouted.

Dean's POV

Kathleen and I were walking back to the car with coffee in our hands. I had stayed silent for a while, not wanting to jinx the luck I had but finally the curiosity was just too much. "Hey, Officer? Look, I don't mean to press my luck-"

"Your luck is so pressed." She chuckled and I just smirked.

"Right. I was wondering- why are you helping me out, anyway? Why don't you just lock me up?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows as we stopped besides the car.

"My brother, Riley, disappeared three years ago. A lot like Sam. We searched for him, but- nothing. I know what it's like to feel responsible for someone, and for them-" She broke off, her voice cracking. "Come one. Let's keep at it."

She got in the car, I followed after not a moment later. To lose someone like that. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I lost Sammy or Lottie. It made my heart speed up and panic start to arise when I tried. I shook my head and concentrated on trying to find a lead. I flinched as a voice echoed out into my head, and it sounded a lot like Lottie calling for help as we neared a side road. "Wait, wait, wait- pull over here. Pull over." I ordered and the car came to a stop. I got out, Kathleen following as we walked to the edge of the forest, gazing into it. "It's the first turn off I've seen so far."

"You stay here, I'll check it out." She instructed and my eyes widened.

"No way," I said sternly, coming to a stop. She stopped and looked at me.

"Hey, you're a civilian. And a felon, I think. I'm not taking you with me."

I looked back to the forest, then at her, gazing into her eyes. "You're not goin' without me."

She sighed, looking around her before locking her eyes with mine. "Alright. You promise you won't get involved? You'll let me handle it?"

"Yeah, I promise." I said, although I was lying through my teeth.

"Shake on it." She extended her hand to me, and I smirked before gripping it to mine. I hear a faint click and cold metal pressing into my skin. I looked down at a pair of handcuffs attached to my wrist.

"Oh, come on!" I groaned as she dragged me to the car, smirking up a storm as she cuffed me to the police car. She began to walk away. "This is ridiculous. Kathleen! I really think you're gonna need my help!" I called to her, and she glanced over her shoulder at me.

"I'll manage." She lifted her arm and pressed the lock button on her keys, making the car lock. "Thank you." She smiled before walking off into the woods.

"I gotta start carrying paper clips," I muttered to myself, trying to fiddle with the lock. I looked around and grinned when I saw the car antenna. I reached for it, stretching my body out. The screech of tires echoed out near me, and I could hear a truck getting closer. "Oh, son of a bitch!"  So I stretched out as far as I could, finally being able to grab the antenna and unscrewing it. Eventually, it fell to the floor, so I swiped it up and picked the lock just in time for me to dive into near by bushes just as the truck came into view. I watched from the bushes as two men exited the truck and walked towards the car. They both looked filthy. One was bigger and well built, while the other was lankier.

"Well, I've never seen him so angry before." The large one grumbled.

"Well, Lee, we never been followed by the police before." The bigger one said with a smile.

"Hey, Jared. I don't think pa is gonna let us have our fun with that girl." Lee frowned in disappointment. I furrowed my eyebrows. Girl?

"Nahh, maybe not. Shame. I'd love to tear that tight body up. She smelt like momma's coffee. And those green eyes...." He hummed out in delight. "I bet she's nice and hot inside." Jared smirked, and I fought with myself to not jump out and start bashing skulls.

"The things I woulda done to 'er." Lee said and they both laughed as Lee got into the car and followed Jared in the truck. I got up after they left and ran in the direction Kathleen went to.

Carlotta's POV
!!Trigger Warning!!

Sam and I sat in our cages in silence when the two men brought in a young lady and threw her into the cage where Jenkins was. I looked at Sam in confusion as the lady started groaning. She sat up and rubbed her head.

"You alright, hun?" I ask softly, gripping the bars of the cage tightly. Her eyes flickered between the two of us.

"Are you Sam Winchester and Carlotta Bellway?" She questioned.

"Yeah." Sam replied.

"Your, uh, your cousin is looking for you." She said, her eyes darting to me afterwards. "And you, of course. He's been beside himself."

"Oh, jesus, thank god." I exclaimed, pressing my forehead. "Where is he?"

"I, uh, I cuffed him to my car," She admitted sheepishly, and I started banging my head against the cage. The door opened again, making all three of us snap to attention. The man, Jared, walked in, smiling at me.

"Guess what, sugar? Pa said I could have an hour." He leered, his eyes dark with lust. He began to walk towards my cage. I pressed myself against the back of my rearing up my leg to kick him.

"You try it, and I'll bust your fuckin' balls, you hear me!" I shout as he unlocks the cage and steps in. I kick him in the gut and shove him out, trying to make a run for it.

"No! Let her go!" Sam shouts as Jared wraps his arms around my torso, and grasps my hair with one hand to keep my head still as he basically carries me out.

"Get your fuckin' hands offa me! I'll cut your fuckin' dick off!" I screamed aggresively, struggling harder than I had ever done before. He threw me against the wall and back handed me with so much force, I blacked out for a moment. I lay on the ground dazed as Sam screamed for me, slamming his fists against the cage and he grasps both legs and drags me. I flop onto my stomach, weakly kicking at his hand as I try to dig my nails into the ground, leaving trails of blood in their attempt. We enter the house, and my clothes start to rip from the nails protruding from the ground. He grasps my hair again and hauls me up the stairs, and tosses me onto a table in the first room he found. My shirt rips open and I start to fight back again as my fear escalates. "Stop!" I scream, kicking and scratching as he pulls out a switch blade and makes a haphazard slice through my bra, leaving me bare. "Dean!" I scream unconsciously, tears burning in my eyes as he grasps my chest with one hand and the other tugs my jeans down my hips. I kick him roughly in the gut again and toss myself onto the floor and attempt to scurry away. He grasps my hips and grabs the back of my neck and holds me down as he rips my panties. I scream again, screaming Dean's name to save me as he unzips his jeans. And at that moment, I feel the fear go to straight up hysteria, but a commotion echoed out from the first floor, someone screaming for Jared.

He grunts in aggravation and releases me. "Looks like this'll have to wait, sugar. Don't worry, I won't be too long." He leers again, shoving his fingers inside of me, making me scream in agony. I sobbed against my arm as he left the room. I pulled at my jeans, tugging them back up and securing them before trying to close my shirt. I stand on shaky legs, hissing as the pain comes tenfold. I swung open the door, keeping my arms tightly around my chest as I stumbled out, and fell down the stairs. I lay in the entryway of the living room, gazing in to the the only man I ever wanted to see me bare.

"Dean..." I muttered out before my eyes closed.
