Cold Morning, Warm Evening *Christmas Special*
The cold, bitter morning seemed so peaceful to my eyes. Snow coated the terrain of Michigan, my breaths came out in soft puffs of air. It was December 24th, and the Boys and I had been on the road forever. I snapped to attention as I hear Dean calling for me again.
"Lottie, you alright?" His green eyes sweep over to me, eyebrow raised in a questioning manner.
"Just tired of driving." I sigh, crossing my arms and leaning over the front seat. "We don't even have a case. Why don't we stop at a motel and celebrate?" I ask hopefully.
"Celebrate what, Lottie?" He quipped.
"Dean, it's Christmas Eve." I hum, looking over when Sam sighed gently. We've never had a real Christmas together since I came back with John and Dean. And with John missing, I think we could use a break.
"No, Lottie." He hums back, not bothering to listen to my proposal.
"But Dean-" I start to try and convince him, but he stops me.
"Lottie, we are not celebrating. There's no point, Dads gone, and we're supposed to be looking for a case to work." He snaps, and I'm fighting back tears. I may sound like a petulant child, but dammit, is it to much to ask to just relax?
"All I'm saying is, we deserve a break every once in a while. I'm worried about John too, but until he contacts us or we pick up on the trail again, there is nothing for us to do. Just please, let's stop and get some beer or something and unwind." I plead. Sam peered over the edge of the book he had been pretending to read while I had proposed my idea.
Dean thought for a bit, staring at the road ahead in agitation. "No presents." Dean said.
"Aw, come on. Presents are the best part, like that time Sam got a girl gift." I chuckle.
"No gifts, Lottie. No Tree, only food, beer, and relaxing." Dean commanded. I let out a huff and nodded, recieving a firm high five from Sam.
"You won't regret it!" I squeal, pressing a kiss to his cheek before plowing back into the seat.

I was secretly glad Dean wanted to take a nap at the motel room, so that left Sam and I to go get some alcohol and food for tonight at the local mini mart. "I'm telling you, Sam. He'll want like three types of pie." I chime, placing the apple pie back into the cart.
"Lottie, we don't need that much pie. We'll just order some take out."
"That's take out, Sammy. It's not pie." I stuff a few bottles of Hennesey and Vodka into the basket and propped my hands on my hips. "Dean'll be in a terrific mood once we start getting things going."
Sam thought for a minute and nodded, letting me put in another flavor. "Why did you want to celebrate, anyway?" Sam leaned against the cart, watching me react.
I scratched at the back of my head. "Well.... I know we're all kind of upset John is missing, but..... Dean really needs a pick-me-upper." I mutter, biting at my nail.
"You sure that's it?"
"Why are you pushin' so much, Sam?"
"I want Dean to be in a good mood as much as you do, Lottie, but you're kind of in love with the dude."
My face feels like it's caught fire. I slap at his arm and storm ahead. "You have no idea what you're talking about, Samuel!"
"He already said he wanted to be with you!"
"Shut up!" I know it's probably childish for me to deny, deny, deny, but dammit, Dean is not one to date or commit to one girl. Well, one girl he did commit, but that ended a long time ago. I'm getting way off track. "I just want to spend time with my two best friends for the holidays, is that too much to ask for?" I whine.
"No, it's not." Sam smirked, holding up a little green item. My face felt hotter. This guy really wanted me to pull my gun out right here in the middle of a mini mart. "But this little mistletoe might have something else to say." Sam quirked his lip up, making me growl.
"You ass." I growl, storming off.
"Lottie, wait! You have the money for all this!"

The kitchen is filled with the subtle smell of take out and freshly warmed pie. "I'm tellin' you, it was a good idea to get three, cause I am lovin' this!" I hear Dean comment from the front room, a cheeky smile slipping onto my lips as Sam tosses an empty beer can into the kitchen as I shouted back an 'I told you'. "Lottie! Get in here and have a couple of shots with me!"
"Keep your pants on this time!" I remark as I stepped into the room with my take out and freshly opened beer. "The last time you tried to drink me under the table, you ended up streaking to the lobby and screaming something about not having enough pie."
"You said you'd never mention that again." Dean whispered in horror as Sam bellowed out in laughter.
"How bout Sammy boy tries this time." I smirk, sitting down across from the tall moose. "Serve up the drinks, Dean-a-rooni."
"Lottie, I'm not trying this." Sam adamantly said.
"Cause you're chicken?" Dean and I started making chicken noises. "That's okay. Dean and I were gonna have dirty, animal sex while you were out, but if you insist, you can listen in." I lie. Dean was in the process of taking a swig of his beer, but it came spraying out, his fist pounding against his chest as he tried to stop coughing. Sam held a disgusted look on his face, quickly, and rather comically throwing back the first shot Dean poured for us. "Yeah!" I chime, taking my shot.
I never knew how much Sam could put back, but damn, I was just at my limit. I leaned against my palm, feeling the world sway around me. Sam took another shot and fell backwards, snoring almost immediately. "Alright, Lottie, just take this last shot and you win." I faintly hear Dean chant from somewhere. I nod and toss back the bitter liquid and threw my hands up, cheering for myself.

Dean's POV
I smirk as Lottie flings backwards, sprawling back against that ratty carpet. "Lottie, you okay?" I hum, shoving the last bit of pie on my plate into my mouth.
"I'm just fine, baby." She drawls, holding up her thumb with a grin. "Just like you are."
A chuckle erupts from my chest as I stoop down, leaning over her on that ratty carpet. "Why thank you. You're not so bad lookin' yourself."
"I know right." She giggles, closing her eyes while that beautiful smile still lingers on her lips. "You know, Sam wanted to put up a mistletoe for tonight."
"Mistletoe? Why a mistletoe?" I hum, loving the way that giggle ran down my spine.
"Cause he know's I'm secretly in love with Dean." She hums, running her hands up my arm and cupping my jaw, running her soft fingers over my lips and chin, giggling to herself at the smallest hint of stubble.
"Oh, are you. Well, that's interesting." My heart pounds against my chest as she continues to feel my skin underneath her fingertips.
She quickly pulls her finger to her lips, shushing me softly. "Don't tell Dean."
"Why not?"
"Well, he's not one for relationships. And I don't wanna get burned.... ya know?" She hums again, going back to feeling my skin. "He's only had like.... one girlfriend... that I knew about. And I was pretty steamed when he started to date her."
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Cause he'll never love me like I love him."
"What if I asked him for ya?"
"No!" She yelps, smiling a shy smile before going back to whispering. "No. You don't need to do that... uh.... What ever your name is."
"I insist." I fight so hard not to chuckle at her drunken antics. "How about we get you into your night clothes and into bed."
"But it's Christmas! I want hot cocoa and I want to play in the snow." She whines, slapping her hands against my chest.
"It's ten, Lottie. Santa wont be here until your asleep." Her lower lip pushes out, a pouty look pushing onto her features.
"And then can we play in the snow?" She asks, gripping at my jacket lightly. I nod once and she sighs before letting me lift her up. She's asleep before I can get her comfortable and snoring. I chuckle to myself and pull Sam up and into his bed before settling down and drifting off into a deep sleep. "Merry Christmas, Dean...." Lottie mumbles in her sleep, reaching over and grasping my jacket tightly.
"Merry Christmas, baby." I wrap my arm around her and press a kiss to her head, sighing out gently.
