Tapu koko simply stared at Ash.

Ash stared back. He blinked.

"What are you trying to me?" Ash asked.

There was still no response.

The tapu simply dropped the two object and zoomed into the sky, which was getting lighter by seconds"

"Wait, don't leave me!" Shouted Ash desperately after it.

It was too late. The four tapu's had already departed in the sky, leaving a trail of dust after them.

Sunlight suddenly streamed through the dark clouds in the sky, it was hard to believe that such an incredible battle had just occurred minutes ago. The ominous dark clouds that had eloped the nearby mountains had departed, revealing the sharp, pointy peak and the leaf green grass which's colour had returned to it.

Ash suddenly felt dread, alone. Why? He didn't know. It seemed like something or someone wasn't with him. Serena? It did occur to him that she might have been the one but... she wasn't the one he was thinking of right now.

One of his shoulders seemed surprisingly light. No wait, it wasn't light, it was just light in comparison with a mouse like creature, yellow and sparky, used to sit on it!

"Pikachu!" Ash shouted as he quickly let pikachu and a few of his other pokemon out to enjoy the fresh air.

Ash couldn't believe he had returned pikachu to a poke ball! He knew he would never do it!

"I must have been to tired" Ash made up an excuse.

All the other pokemon he had looked at him in disbelief for a second. They knew that Ash would never put pikachu in a poke ball, even if the world was ending in moments. His Pokemon did forgive him though. They had already seen so much people harm their trainer, from betraying him to abandoning him, they promised they would never follow those people's footsteps. Secretly, they never he had all knew that Ash was under huge stress since he has lost Serena. In times where all was peaceful, Ash would sit there, looking out of the window and moaning: "Serena...Serena..."

Losing Paul made things even worst. Sometimes, Ash would go sleepwalking in the night, sometimes crying yet suddenly sprouting widely awake and look around him in confusion since he didn't know where he was. One time he had sleepwalked so far and woke up 5 miles from their camp. Even worst, he didn't bring his nano dex with him when he slept and so he had no pokemon to help him find the way! He was completely lost!

Luckily, he let out a few pokemon before he fell asleep and when they woke up, they were very worried that their trainer wasn't there anymore. They ended up searching for their trainer for the rest of the night and half of the day before they found Ash lying in the middle of a far away forest.

So, pikachu, will you forgive me? Asked Ash, knowing that pikachu was the one who would make the final decision. A grin began to spread on pikachu's face.

"So, do you forgive me?" Asked Ash.

Pikachu nodded almost immediately.

Ash smiled. He was completely unaware of a metallic robot in a cube shape that was no bigger than a Pidgey, spying on him. After a while, it said:

"Information tracked, information track... analysing data... analysing data". Then it flew off.

(Not far away, right now)

Two figures and a Meowth dressed in reporter uniforms stood in front of professor Kukui, who seemed to have just woken up and was giving a speech on live television explaining how he thought why everybody suddenly fell asleep and what he thought was going on. One of the reporters had a really big hat, as if hiding something on her hat, and disguising her and making her look like a male. At one time, the hat tilted to one side and reveal some long, red hair. She quickly pulled her hat back to place.

"Hey, when are we gonna steal all these pokemon that the professor has here?" One of the figures whispered to the other one.

"Shhhhh, later" the other figure replied.

"Meowth!" Said the Meowth in a funny voice crack. "Where are we going to keep all these stolen pokemon?" This time, it was very loud. Luckily, no one seemed to notice.

"Shhhhhhhh" demanded one of the figure.

"Sorry" Said the Meowth.

"........thank you for listening....bye b—— wait what?" Said professor Kukui. The last bit was because a beware appeared and hugged the three figure: two pokemon and a Meowth, before jumping to superhuman heights and disappeared in the distance.

The big hat on one of the figures fell of, revealing her true identity.

"Jessie"

"James!"

"Team rocket blasts of in the speed of light"

"Surrender now or——help... I hate heights"

"Wait why are we telling them who we are, they don't know yet.!" Said Meowth.

"Too late, we've blown our cover and lost our opportunity to steal all those pokemon because of this beware" shouted Jessie over the wind, which was roaring like demons and tortured spirits.

"We extended are reaches to the stars below."Said James.

"Below?" Asked Jessie innocently.

"Above, sorry, I am so dizzy right now" screamed James.

Without team rocket knowing, this scene was being filmed by proper reporters down below and displayed all over the world, live or video version. In fact, it even broke the world record for the most funny short video in the decade!

(At the exact same time, on a island not far away)

What is happening right now: Ash and Pikachu is feeding on some delicious berries along with 20 other of Ash's pokemon. Ash is feeling guilty about not being able to bring all his Pokemon out because there was going to be no space.

CHOMP.

"Oh no, venasaur(do you remember in the first few chapters of this book, I mentioned bulbasaur evolving in ivysaur and then venasaur on mount moon?) you just ate a tamato berry. Don't worry, I'll get you so water" Said Ash quickly to venasaur, who had chomped accidentally on a tamato berry, which was twice as spicy as the spiciest chilly pepper on earth!

Venasaur had now sprouted flames from its mouth and nostrils and going on a frenzy. What an unlikely behaviour of a grass type pokemon!

Luckily, Ash's Greninja was out. It immediately shot a strong jet of water to stop the flames and then fired an ice beam directly into venasaur's mouth to help it numb the spiciness.

Everything was going quite very, or as it seemed. Greninja was playing in the water with other water types that Ash had after helping with the venasaur incident and Charizard was challenging some of Ash's other fire types to battle. Pikachu, meanwhile, was sun bathing with a litten, which was given to Ash months ago (check out the previous chapters, I think it's around chapter 25, but I don't know the exact).

Ash's herd of tauros was stampeding around and causing a lot of destruction.

Night was rapidly approaching. The sun was halfway down the horizon, a blur of red and orange surrounding it. Slowly, all of Ash's pokemon had stopped what they were doing and sat down to admire the setting sun.

"So peaceful... I wish it was always like this" whispered Ash, not wanting to disturb the silence. He seemed to have completely forgot the plan of escaping the island.

For dinner, Ash and his Pokemon helped themselves to some more wild berries though everyone was careful not to bite into a tamato berry.

The sun had set.

Darkness engulfed the land once more, filling people's heart with fear. The world had fallen silent once more, there was no one to be heard. Crickets sang their songs grasshoppers chirped in the fields. The day had ended and Ash felt like as if he deserved a long rest.

He returned most of his pokemon into their poke balls though he made sure that Pikachu stayed out.

There was no light in the distance, apart from the moonlight and the meek starlight.

Ash tilted his head backwards and to enjoy the wonders of nature. He slowly felt his muscles loosening and he lied down on the floor, not caring about how rough the grass was.

One...

Two...

Three...

Then his eyes snapped shut and he fell asleep.

Of course, fallen in asleep in the midst of a war which despite not effecting the humans, yet, wasn't a good idea as it led to nightmares.

Ash found himself suddenly awake, in void. His muscles were stiff and he found himself unable to move. In the distance, two red devilish eyes stared at him. Then he noticed that the eyes were a part of a Pokemon! It was crowned with pitch black amour that was hardly noticeable in the darkness.

"What...what do you want" asked Ash, quivering.

The creature didn't answer. Ash was still held in its psychotic grip, unable to move a single muscle.

Then Ash noticed that there was another pokemon beside it. It looked like a lion with heavy metal amour that once might have ignited into flames. It's blue eyes, which might once been filled with hope was now nothing but cold, unmoving spheres.

"What...have you done" asked Ash, filled with rage. He knew that whatever the scenario, no matter how bad things are, you shouldn't mistreat pokemon.

The strange creature didn't reply but rather it roared:liiiiiiiiiigggght!"

Than suddenly, the world exploded and Ash had to shut his eyes to avoid being blinded by a huge hurricane of light which was now flooding from the other lion like Pokemon, dissolving it like salt in process, to the dark looming pokemon with black amour.

Ash suddenly found himself able to move again. Yet he found that the only thing he could do was to hold his hands in a defensive position, hoping for his life.

Milliseconds later, much to Ash's despair, what stood in place was now much of a merge in the two figures, lion like yet covered in black amour. It's whole body was covered in brilliant, blazing, bright light. It whole presence seemed to nearly incarnate Ash!

Ash felt his skin burning, his lips cracking and his eyes bursting for darkness. Like butter, his bones seemed to loosen and melt. Glancing at the creature was like directly looking at the sun!

The darkness around was suddenly ignited, the darkness seemed to fade, yet to be replaced with something worse...

"Lightttttttt" it roared once more.

Barely noticeable, a crystal shaped object suddenly appeared on the strange creature's forehead. Instantly, bright blue energy seemed to crack along the creatures's limbs, its suddenly seemed to expand 4 times as big and the black amour seemed to fade.

"LIGHTTTT" The creature suddenly roared in anger, the blue light from the crystal disappeared and the strange creature seemed to cringe a little, than shrink back to its normal size.

Blink

Ash woke. He noticed he was sweating and his hands had tiny burnt scars on them. The dream was so convincing, but was it real? That was what Ash kept on wondering till the brake of dawn.

"If it is real, than what was the two pokemon?" Asked Ash wearily. He rubbed his eyes and sat up.

(Meanwhile, far away)

"Jessie, where are we?" A male voice asked

"I dunno, where's Meowth" A female voice answered

"MEOWTH, I am here"

"Where" asked Jessie and James

"Below you,MEOWTH, I'm suffocating" Groaned Meowth.

"Where?"

"Just get up"

Jessie and James stood up, only to find a flattened Meowth as thin as paper lying underneath Jessie.

"Where that Beware? If I am going to ever find it, I will defeat it with my claws for a price of suffocating me" boasted Meowth.

"Will.. you can say that but it isn't that easy and I suggest you no too because..." started James, only to be interrupted by a BOOM as beware suddenly leaped from a nearby tree, directly on top of Meowth, who was flattened even more.

"Help" Squeaked James weakly.

"Can't you leave us alone" demanded Jessie.

"Beware!!!!!!" It shouted, revealing a honey comb filled with honey.

"Wow thanks!" Mumbled James and Jessie as the took the comb and started to eat the honey hungrily. Even thieves will starve to death you know.

"Hey don't forget me" mumble Meowth from underneath Beware.

"Owwwww, I think something stun me" shouted Jessie.

"And me two" squeaked James.

"There're pokemon bees in the honey you know, what are those Pokemon bees called again? Combee?"Mumbled Meowth.

"Wat?" Asked Jessie.

At the moment, beware stood up and moved to the side to reveal Meowth, which was now as thin as paper.

"Are you dead..." asked James.

"Of course I'm not" Said Meowth as it sprang up, suddenly pumping its body up and going back to normal.

"Now I'm going to kill you bewear"mumbled Meowth at bewear.

Scratch scratch.

Meowth rapidly attacks Beware, yet the giant fighting type didn't seem to mind and took lifted Meowth by its feet.

"Bewear, bewear" the giant fighting type mumbled lazily.

The fighting type pokemon nested under the thick shades of a tree and fell asleep.

"Phew, finally" Shouted James.

At this point, a sudden surprise was unleashed.

CRANK.

Everyone heard it, Ash from his island, team rocket who were just starting to relax and the rest of the citizens of Alola.

CRANK.

CRACK

CRANK.

Then silence.

Blue lights suddenly began to appear in the sky, some in the the horizon, some in the uninhabited isles.

These lights expanded, until it was as large as a house as biggest and only the size of a book at minimum.

They kept expanding. At one point, Ash thought he these mysterious lights were going to devolve the whole Alola.

Then, it stopped. Rays of light, more brilliant than the first ones shone through the lights, which had now joint to gather to form a gigantic mass of energy.

The lights were now hovering over the top of Alola, purple borders once more returned, except around the whole Alola, the four islands and the aether paradise. Storm clouds started to form. As first, Ash thought it was going to rain, he was about to go back inside, thinking it was a miracle that there was a mass of energy over the whole Alola. Of course, most people in Alola would never had thought the the swirling mass of energy was nothing but a dangerous portal, doom approaching fast from its core.

Lightning flashed in the distance, thunder rolled. It refused to rain. The land grew drier than ever, in a few months, fire would burn the trees and forests and Alola would be nothing but a wasteland.

In fact, even if it didn't burn, it will dissolve...

"Pikachu, its amazing isn't it?" Shouted Ash excitedly, over the sounds of thunder.

"Pika?"

"I'll show you the most amazing thing in history happening today" Shouted Ash.

"Ta da....arghhhhhhhhh, help"

The last bit was because a giant head had appeared from the portal.

Partly covered in black amour, partly made of pure light, it roared,

"Lighttttttttttttt"

"It can't be, no...it's the"

Ash wanted to say "the monster in my dreams," but he was simply too stunned to speak.

All he could manage was "run!"

Suddenly, the entire world was ten times worst, many people suddenly fell dead, many suddenly fainted, and the worst of them all, 5 miniature portals started forming around the big portal.

Shrouded in light, yet as powerful as ever, fiver creature appeared, one, Ash recognised as the creature he had met before and failed to catch:

"Guzzlorddddddd!" It roared,

The other four were completely new but the all looked fresh and ready to battle.

The giant head disappeared from the giant portal once more, leaving the five ultra beasts that had emerged from the portals, which Ash would soon learn to be as ultra wormholes!

One ultra beast suddenly seemed to spot something that caught its attention and strikes towards it.

(Same moment, felt far away with team rocket)

"Help"

"Mommy"

"Wake up, Bewear, you stupid bear and get us out of here!"

The rocket trio were screaming, shouting, and cursing.

"I think that creatures heading for us"

"Run!"

"Run to where?"

"That island next to us"

"How?"

(With Ash)

"I think someone is going to get hurt, that creature seems to have something as it's target and I think it's human. I can see them from here, they are on the island next to us"

"Pi" pikachu agreed.

Full of typical by energy and excitement, Ash stubbornly suggested to help the people, who were actually team rocket, from the creature.

Ash knew Charizard was tired and there was no way Greninja was able to carry Ash and Pikachu across the ocean whilst riding the waves with surf.

This left only one option, Genesect. Ash knew he could count on his new mythical pokemon pal. Genesect was fairly able to fold into a disk for Ash to ride on, particularly water Genesect!

In no time, Ash was surfing on Genesect, across the water and breaking the speeed limit for surfers to go in the ocean. At the same time, team rocket was running towards the shores on which Ash was going to land, rapidly dodging blasts of light from the the ultra beast behind them whilst rapidly being chased by it.

Phrevvvvvv!

Genesect arrived and unfolded from its disc shape, just in time to dodge a bug buzz from the ultra beast.

"Ash, help and do something" yelled Jessie.

"Yeah, help" yelled James.

"We promise this isn't a trick and we won't take pikachu" Said Meowth, "but please save us!"

"Fine" replied Ash hastily.

"Genesect, lets try iron head!"

Genesect's head grew into an eerie shade of silver and pounced at the ultra beast, only to be disarmed by a bug buzz and nearly knocked out by a high jump kick.

"How did it get so powerful" asked Ash to himself. Before hand, he was at least able to land a few hits, and tanks at least 5 of the beast's moves before fainting.

The answer came to him very quickly. White light suddenly started to drain from the biggest portal in which Necrozma had pointed its head through and now made the aura on the strange ultra beast to glow even brighter, until it was too bright to bear and Ash had to half cover his eyes and half help Genesect to its feet.

"Go Greninja" Shouted Ash, give Genesect some help.

Ash noticed that Greninja came out in a unusual ninja position. Than he realised that it was trying to block out the light from its eyes!

"Techno blast and surf, lets go!" Ash shouted, hoping two moves at once would be able to weaken the ultra beast. No use, for the moment the two water attacks touched the light aura surrounding the ultra beats, it dissolved into nothing but salt, which burnt into a trail of ash.

"What?" Shouted Ash, surprised

"We're doomed" mumbled Meowth.

"Ice beam and bug buzz, you both can do it!" Encouraged Ash, knowing that even Ash Greninja and Genesect might not be able to take down this ultra beast.

Once again, the ice melted into water and fizzled out. The bug buzz was easily countered by the creature's own bug buzz.

Than Ash realised that it wasn't even trying! It was toying with Ash and pokemon pals! This filled Ash with rage.

"Go, rapid fire water shrunken and bug buzz"

Shouted Ash.

The opposing ultra beast simply moved out of the way, this time more closer to the portals in the sky than ever and... it aura also flowed as bright as ever.

"Wait, does it mean that" started Ash, realising that he might be able to win this battle, with his 'plan'. Unfortunately, he was interrupted by a the creature's own attack which was shroud in so much white light it's was impossible to know which attack it was! Ash was lucky to dodge to the side, one cm nearer and he would have been toast like the grass nearly the place where the attack had landed.

"Attack that portal and give it all you got, whatever moves, from bug buzz to surf!" Shouted Ash

As Ash had thought, the moment Greninja's rapid arrays of water shrunken hit the portal, the more weaker the ultra beast's aura seemed to be. The strange thing was that the shrunken actually dissolved and reappeared directly on any ultra beast under Necrozma's control's body!

"HORRAY!" Shouted James, "we can be save!"

The five ultra beast summoned groaned in anger and started to all attack Ash at once, turning their attention from whatever things they were doing before.

"Hey, this isn't fair" Shouted Ash.

"Help" screamed James, suddenly feeling scared again.

Even Ash has started to shiver in fright...
