It was the next morning, a start of a brand new day of adventure. 

Ash woke up to the sound of his extremely noisy alarm clock. He had slept with it on full blast ever since his first day with his starter, Pikachu. 

Flashback 

Ash woke up. He looked at the clock on his bedside.

"Nooooooooooo" he shouted it is to late. He ran down the stairs, completely unaware he was still in his pajamas.

(A few minutes later)

Ash is at professor Oak's lab, he discovers that there are no starters left.

"Ash, you could take pikachu if you want but its sort of out of control" said proffessor Oak.

Flashback ends

Ash remembered how nice professor Oak was but now... he had betrayed him.

(Time skip 30 minutes later)

Ash had had breakfest, he was getting bored; his match doesn't start until 6:30 pm. Serena had gone with the mysterious Remo.

Suddenly, Ash remembered Gary. He hadn't spoken to him since the start of the tournament, had he won his match? Ash didn't know.

Ash went to Gary's room. Inside, he saw something amazing, all his rivals were there! 

"Wh wh what are you guys doing here" asked Ash.

"Well It seems like as if all your rivals are still on your side, Ashy boy" said Gary, who as usual, had a smirk on his face.

"So you guys all want to be with me, you guys didn't join the traitors" said Ash, shocked. For all these years, he had thought that all his rivals were the ones who hated him the most, however it seemed like he was wrong.

"YES" the group all shouted together.

"Well, thats great to know" said Ash, who's stomach was rumbling.

"Have you had breakfast yet" asked Paul.

"Oh.. No" said Ash who was a little embarrassed about his stomach grumbling and mumbling.

"Then lets all go down and have breakfast, we haven't had breakfast to" shouted the group, therefor they all walked down stairs into the cafeteria to have breakfast.

Ash felt wonderful, all his happy memories flooded him and made him smile.

Authors note sorry this chapter is short, this. is due to me doing two chapters in a week, one long and one short.
