Ash panted as he reached the stadium. Arceus  had taken him exactly one hour before the battle. He wished he had a day;he knew that was impossible. He looked at the beast balls he was given. It was mainly blue with some horn like features sticking out. 

"Ultra beasts" he recalled.

Than the announcers voice hit him. 

"May the battle begin!"

His opponent reacted almost instantly.

"Go espeon"

Ash took a deep breath sand looked at his balls.

None of his main Pokemon were there; Ash had a feeling they were in the pc. Probably confused.

There were only 3 Pokemon, exactly the amount for a 3 vs 3 battle.

"Fine, arceus you do have a sense of humour" he moaned as he looked at his options. There was umbreon, shuckle and lynrock.

"Wait, how did I know that strange alolan Pokemon's name? And how do I know it is alolan. How to I have it" said Ash.

He decided it must have been magic.

He selected his choice.

"Go umbreon" he shouted.

"Toxic let's go" he ordered. Trying not the sound worried at sending out a Pokemon he never used before.

Surprisingly, umbreon did quite well.

It first poisoned espeon and the landed a critical hit dark pulse, which combined with toxic damage, was enough to knock espeon out.

"Way to go" shouted Ash our in excitement.

Umbreon nuzzled Ash happily.

"Go sizor" his opponent said.

Ash knew sizor was a steel type and resists toxic. He wondered weather it had a fighting type move.

Ash was desperate to send umbreon back but he wanted it a chance to battle again as it's eyes told him it was full of determination to win all 3 rounds for him.

"Bullet punch"

Umbreon got hit with amazing speed as scizor rose its metal claws and few towards it.

Ash was impressed.

It did some damage. Ash was a man with a plan.

"Umbreon use moonlight and then dark pulse"

Umbreon healed itself and landed dark pulse.

"Scizor,finish it. Use superpower"

Umbreon got hit by the super effective move. It was weak but it still stood tall"

"Dark pulse"

"Iron Defense" his opponent countered

Iron Defense rose its Defense. It was useless though, as dark type moves were special attack.

Ash gritted his teeth. He knew his opponent was up to something with the way he was sneering.

"Return umb-"started Ash

"Pursuit" his opponent ordered.

Umbreon got hit with amazing speed and fainted due to Ash trying to return it and allowing the attack to do huge damage.
