authors note I know Ash had already reunited with Serena etc but who else or should I say what else could I have planed? Read the last chapter for hints.......... Or you could just read on!

(Time skip 1'o' clock)

Ash was running. He knew the list had to be quick, very quick.

His plane back to Kalos was at 1:30 and it needed 20 minutes just to get to the airport!

Ash was running, in the woods near pallet town. He knew he had left it there! Perhaps it was years ago. Perhaps it wasn't there anymore! Ash had hope, he knew it must be there.

He had vowed to see it again, yet perhaps the plane was too early and he would miss the meeting. Perhaps he might also have time to see another old friend of his as well!

"PIDGEW" there was a high pitched cry and a gust knocked Ash too the ground.

Ash looked up.

"Yes! I've found it" shouted Ash in excitement. His heart was a piece of rapidly pumping pump, burning with excitement! 

Ash looked up. There he saw it: his old friend Pidgeot fighting Feorow again. He remembered leaving pidgeot there, to look after a group of pidgeys.

"GAW GAW GAW" more cries caught Ash's attention.

Then 10 more pidgeots appeared. Snipping at the enemy Feorow's chest and knocking It to the ground! 

The Feorow stood no chance! In less then a second, it was on the ground. 

Ash stood there confused for a split second before realizing the truth: Pidgeot must have trained the other pidgeys too fight and they eventually evolved!

"Pidgeot" shouted Ash, hoping his old friend, one of his first ever Pokemon, would reconise his voice.

Pidgeot looked at Ash confused for a moment before it flew to Ash as quick as light and happily squawked 

"PIDGAW"

Ash was amazed of how strong pidgeot had become a flyer. It might even beat Talonflame and Staraptor! 

"Hello, its a long time no see" said Ash gently. 

"PIDGAW" said Pidgeot in agreement.

"I was just wondering wether we could have a talk" said Ash.

Pidgeot nodded in agreement and delight! 

"GAW GAW" It said to the other pidgeots.

"GAW GAW" the reply came from the rest of the pidgeots like an echo.

Ash slowly stroked Pidgeots beak. It fluttered its feathers as Ash did that.

"GAW PIDGAW GAW?" asked Pidgeot (Can I come?)

"Of course you can but the rest-" Ash was cut off when pidgeot turned and squawked:

"GAW PIDGAW GAW GAW GAW".

"GAW GAW PIDGAW" Squawked Pidgeot when it turned to Ash (They know now. The think they are strong enough to defend themselves, but I will check on them once or twice a year.)

"Thanks, Pidgeot" said Ash, proud that Pidgeot had become a trusted leader of the group!

(time skip 1:20 in the afternoon)

Ash had recaptured Pidgeot and stored it in his Nanodex! 

Then he let it out again.

"Pidgeot, I have a job for you. Can you take me to the first Pokemon I ever caught beside Pikachu, who I received from professor Oak, who is now a terrorist"

"PIDGAW GAW PIGWGA GAW GAW PIDGAW" replied Pidgeot (Sure, but how did professor Oak become a terrorist)

"Its a long story"said Ash"but I'll have to tell you later because the plane is in 10 minutes.

(time skip five minutes later)

Ash had arrived at his destination: butterfree's home.

He could not believe that after so long, he could see butter free again.
