"Alright"replied all the traitors.

As Ash ran, the traitors followed and soon it was clear that it was going to go on forever.

After a few minutes of running, Ash became exhausted. He was panting and could feel the sweat dripping down his back. Ash started to slow down.The traitor were still full of energy and still ran as fast as they had been at the beginning. Ash wondered if they saw his face or if they already knew he was Ash...

Suddenly, Ash found him self standin face to face with Brock's Onix .

Onix attacked on sight. It used to mighty body to slam next to As, the shockwaves nearly knocked Ash down due to its humongous power! 

Suddenly, Ash tripped over and landed on his bum. He opened his mouth to swear before getting up. He had crashed into a bush on the side of the street. He could hear the traitors searching for him and he knew it would take forever for them to leave. Ash kept quiet and motioned pikachu to keep silent as well. Pikachu told the cue and stayed silent.

The sun was setting down the horizon and the stars were slowly turning visible in the night sky. Ash had no time to look at the view for he knew that the traitors were still looking.

At last, Ash got bored, he told Pikachu to use thunder on a nearby tree to temporarily distract the traitors so that he could escape.

Ash plan half worked, however the traitors heard Ash's footsteps and started running after him. 

As the traitors loomed closer and closer and closer, Ash started to panic. Cheetars are extremely fast and Ash wasn't a cheetar.

Finally, the traitors were directly next to him.

Ash knew he would be caught, unless he could think of somethin .. .fast.

Suddenly, Ash felt a hand grabbing him.

"Was it the traitors?" wondered Ash.

.................Everything went black!..........

A few minutes later, Ash woke up, the first thing that flushed his mind was that he must be caught, however he soon discovered he wasn't.

Suddenly, Ash heard Gary's voice.

"It seems like as if you woke up" said his rival.

After seeing the look of fright on Ash's face, he immediately said: "don't worry, I am not on the traitors' side"

"It's good too know that there are still people on my side" said Ash in an joyful voice"but how can you prove that you are really on my side"

"This is proof" said Gary as he showed Ash a scar mark on his wrist.

"How did that happen?" asked Ash.

Flashback starts

"Gary how dare you defend Ash and say that he does deserve what we did to him"

"Gramps, Ash is a good trainer" replied Gary

"I thought you were supposed too hate Ash, he was your rival"said Misty.

"He was my childhood friend" shouted Gary.

Professor Oak glared at Gary angrily.

"You will pay for what you said" shouted professor Oak Ash he took a knive and cut Gary in the wrist," from now on you will have to live by yourself and you will never come back to this lab ever again!".

Gary winced in pain as he said the final part of the flashback.

"I feel sorry for you" said Ash.

"I hope you are ok" said Ash to Gary as he tried to calm him down.
