It started as another day like I will say, my dream has always been to be in a company, yeah totally a popular one but I was still as a baby stuck with her brother since I still couldn't get a job.

Today I decided to visit my boyfriend at his home but on getting there I got the shock of my life. What the fuck!! My best friend was making out with my boyfriend. I ran home in tears, after dating my soul called boyfriend for a good three years well he decided to pull this shit off. After having to witness that terrible occurrence I was hurt and devastated.

My best friend Natasha and my boyfriend Nickel it's just crazy right? After my brother Theo came home I told him everything which also made him furious. Nickel called and messaged me but it only made me angrier because I loved him well not anymore I thought to myself.

At Leo's Enterprises

One of the largest companies and most famous companies known for their quality and consistent services. Leo's assistant Max shouted at a worker,this is all useless and bad sources. Of what good have you been since? You were given a task for a week interval whereby you couldn't do it until after a month with wrong information. You are fired Joel!. Looking lost Joel said sir I'm sorry but I promise to work harder.

Max gazed at him angrily and said "tell that to the boss", shaking in fear Joel apologized and left the company.

Max ordered the L Rock's coordinator to open up a space for a new occupant who is qualified enough for the spot. The interview will be on Monday by 8AM, and lastly we need improvement here.Do you get it? The coordinator replied to Max answering"yes sir".

After days of fighting my breakdown I decided to focus more on getting a job and living a better life. After watching the advertisement of a vacant position of my dream job at a New York company I decided to give it a go. During dinner I told Theo of my plans and me seeking a job in New York. No,you will have to travel all the way to New York and where will you stay? Theo said.

I know Theo but this is my dream and I need this after my sudden breakup with Nickel,I said. Okay Hazel but you have to promise me you will be fine and you will contact me? Theo stated. Okay okay naggy you know I will but do you have to make the beef cold ? I'm famished I said munching on my beef.

The next day I sorted my stay in New York with one of Theo's childhood friends who was based in New York. I left Canada by 10am and I got to New York around 2pm because we had some delays. After settling in I decided to rest because of the interview I was having the next day.

I met with my brother's friend whose name was Clara, what a cute name it describes her personality because yes she was a gorgeous young lady. Lucky me everything went smoothly not until.........,well that's too soon for the boomer.
Waking up the next day I left for the interview.

There were up to 30 other people there for the job interview so I just sat patiently until it was my turn. After I was called I stepped into the office with confidence. A bossy looking man asked me, Brook Hazel right?.Yes you're looking at her I replied with that same confidence I came in with but deep down I was nervous as hell.

After everything I was told they will get back to me so I went back to Clara's but by noon I had a call telling me I got the job. On excitement I called Theo and told him gosh I was so happy to have gotten the job of my dreams.

That night I celebrated with Clara and her boyfriend Johnson,I must admit that they looked good together. The next day I left early to my workplace but the first thing I heard was the screaming 😱 of our coordinator. Why is this not done yet? Do you want me to be proved incompetent? Who copied this file? Who did this? Who did that? Our coordinator kept howling away. Well I should say she let out a bad impression so I didn't get to like her later on.

I met my other co-workers who were fun and loving. I made friends with Justin, Kate and Thomas. Trust me when I say they always make my day. I noticed no one talked about the boss of this company, Leo's company so I asked my friends who introduced him as a very cloudy boss, after all their explanation I found out the CEO who was Leo himself was a horrifying man. Meeting him is just like a death wish,they also stated that meeting his PA Max is him being merciful.

OMG what a cruel boss but my thoughts were distorted by the screaming of our coordinator. Are you gossiping right now? Hey new girl I don't take shit and you better get into work before I kick you out of my group. Do you understand? She said. I replied to her saying yes ma then she babbled away. After a long day we went for a team dinner where I got to know my friends more.

Working for three months I only saw the CEO once but it was just a glimpse of his face since everyone fears him so much so I decided not to be an exemption, I focused on my work and kept saving to achieve my dream of living in Val's pent, the most luxurious home in New York. Kate always says my whole savings can't buy a tissue there so I should just quit the dream and spend my money but that only motivated me the most.
