Shivay kept sitting beside her and asked her to take rest. Her heart was at peace today. After so many days she was finally feeling her heart beating. She was able to feel the rhythm of her heart again, which somehow got lost from last so many days.

All the tragic moments that she spent in India were now getting overshadowed by the presence of this man in her life. Shivay was her new hope. She could see a new ray of hope rising in her life again. May be all this was bound to happen. May be she was destined to meet Shivay.

He was just adoring her surreal face. Her eyes were closed, yet it was pouring out hundred of emotions. He could not deny that she was the most beautiful women he had ever seen after his mother. He knew it's not only liking but he loved her, immensely. The moment she asked him to stay back with him, he felt his heart blossoming with happiness. She was really a rigid wall from the first time he met her, he tried hard to melt her down but it didn't happened easily. And today, finally he felt her melting. She herself showed some emotions keeping them in front of him. May be it was going slow but beautifully.

"Are you Okay now?" Gauri asked Om, her eyes all red and puffy.
"I m fine Gauri" he said looking at her flushed face. He knew she must have suffered a storm behind his back. He just wanted to hug her tightly and assure her that he was fine but his weak body resisted him to do so.
She was just looking at him as if trying to absorb all his pain from her eyes.
"Stop crying Gauri, see I am fine" he said assuring her again but as soon as he said it, she burst up crying hard.
Om was her life, she could not even imagine her life without him.
She just knelt her head down on his chest and hugged him. He caressed her head softly with his fingers, trying to console her.

Gauri was fine now and Om was constantly asking for Annika. Gauri didn't felt it right to inform him about her health at that time. He himself suffered an accident and she didn't wanted him to take more stress. She told him that she is fine and is at home. She also told him that she has asked her to stay at home because she might have came and panicked more watching Om in this condition.

Finally Annika woke up and saw Shivay sitting behind her bed. He was keeping his head on her bed. His hair were fallen on his forehead  making him look utter cute!

She just stared at his handsome face. Was she practically blind for ignoring and not noticing this breath taking face from so long? He was surely the most handsome man she knew. His blue eyes with long lashes, (usually not the case with men) his long sharp nose, his pinkish lips, everything was a treat to watch. She was busy kind of checking him out when Gauri came inside.

"Annika!" She came panting.
Her voice literally woke Shivay up from his sleep. He got up with a jerk and tried to figure out what was happening.
Annika saw him and couldn't control her smile, he was effing cute.

"What is wrong Gauri? Is Bhai Okay?" Annika asked looking at Gauri's tensed face.

"Yes he is fine but are you okay? he is constantly asking for you. I think you should go and meet him." She said.

"Yes I m fine Gauri. Even I want to meet Bhai" Annika said trying to get up from the bed.

Shivay quickly stood up to help her get out from the bed. He looked at her as if asking her from his eyes that was she fine. She gave him an assurance look and smiled. He smiled back. Both Gauri and Annika went to Om's room.

As soon as they saw each other, their eyes got teary. Annika ran to his bed and hugged him.
"Bhai I was so scared! Who asked you to go out and drive a car!? Why did you even went alone. I would have die...." she was about to say when Om stopped her.

"Don't! Nothing is gonna happen to you okay? And see I m all okay" Om said cupping her face and hugging her sideways. Gauri purposely left them alone to spend sometime with each other.

Gauri went out, Shivay was already there. She went and stood beside him.
"You know Shivay, I used to wonder why are good things always to hard to achieve but now I realise it takes time because everyone wants something good and it's really like taking out a pearl from the ocean. Annika and I know each other from years. She had always been really an introvert from the starting. As soon as she went to college and met Aman, she opened a part of her heart to the world but unfortunately that ridiculous man was just playing with her emotions. I remember I had hardly seen her smiling with heart since we came to India but now she is smiling with her heart and that's because of you. I don't know will it sound nice or not but I wanted to know that You like her right?
Gauri asked Shivay making him pop out his eyes in shock. He was not seeing it coming from her. Of course he liked her, liking was a real small word but the way Gauri asked it directly just blanked him.

He was still trying to say something when he saw Gauri laughing.

"Why are you getting so nervous Shivay? You can tell it to me. Anyways I m like your sister" she said.

He was a bit relaxed now. He smiled back at her and nodded positively. He could not believe he was blushing but he did.
"I do like her, a lot. I don't know how? Why? When? I just do" he said and smiled sheepishly.

Gauri could only say "aww" when he said making a tensed face.

"I told this to her in the morning but I don't know if she likes me back or not? I mean she have just suffered a heart break. I know it's really not easy to just move on but I don't want our friendship to end. I mean till now she is behaving normally but as she have not said anything to me regarding what all I told her in the morning, I m just scared about what she has in her heart" Shivay said to Gauri.

"She will talk to you. Just give her sometime" Gauri said patting his shoulder with assurance.

Annika and Om were sitting quietly, when Om held her hand in his hand and said
"You know what you mean to me right? I can just see your face and know what all is going on in your mind. Since the time you came here I noticed a pain on your face. Whenever you talked with me on phone, I felt your voice breaking up. I came here to check on you and could see the pain again. But right now I m able to see a content and peace on your face. I was so scared but now I am relaxed. I just want to ask you something, will you tell me princess?" Om asked looking into Annika's eyes.

Her heart started beating faster. What was he going to ask her? Is it about her relationship with Aman? Or her breakup with him? She just nodded and waited for the bomb to fall on her.

"You like Shivay! Right?" He asked making Annika numb. She just froze on her place without uttering a word.

"Just tell me Annika? I want to know what's there in your heart. Gauri told me about how Shivay always helped you and rescued you in my absence. Even today he saved my life and I m really impressed. Although I haven't met him yet, and I would like to meet him too but before that I just want to know what's in your heart!?" Om made it clear to Annika.

"Bha..Bhai I don't know. I mean I do like him as a friend. He had always been there with me whenever I felt lonely and broken at times. He supported me and helped me. He saved my life a lot of times. I dont know what I feel for him because it's all so new but all I know is that he is a really genuine guy, very loving, caring  and helpful. He is the one whom I can trust for my life and I know you will like him too after you meet him." Annika poured her heart in front of her Bhai. She knew he would surely understand her.

"If that is the case, I will surely want to meet him. Please call him inside" Om said to her making her smile widely.
