After hours of operation, the doctor finally came out. Gauri ran towards the OT.

"Doctor???" she managed to speak between her sobs.

"Dont worry! The operation is successfully done. Its good that you arranged the blood on time otherwise the worse could have happened. Anyways he will be fine soon" the doctor gave the good news.

Shivay Bhavya Rudra felt relieved. Gauri was on cloud nine. She gave a "Thanku so much" look to Shivay. He smiled back at her.

"Can we meet him please?" She asked the doctor.

"Not now! He is on sedatives. The nurse will inform you once he comes out of unconsciousness" the doctor informed & went away.

Gauri quickly hugged Bhavya out of excitement & cried.
"Now stop crying G! Om is fine" Bhavya consoled her.

She pulled out of the hug & went to Shivay.
"I was so scared when they asked to arrange for the blood. I dont know what would have I done If you haven't helped me Shivay. From the day we came here you are constantly helping us out in every bad situation. I dont know how to say thanks to you Shivay." Gauri said.

"You dont need to thank me Gauri. I just did what I thought is right. There is nothing great about it. Stop crying now or else Om would not like it" he said keeping a hand on her head.

"You know Shivay, whenever I used to see Om & Annika together, the way they laughed, cared for each other, teased each other I always used to feel that desire in my heart where I also wished for a brother. I dont know why it feels that today I got one."
Gauri could see Shivay's eye filling up with tears.

Obviously he always missed his Kavya alot. She was his sister but she was snatched from him. He didnt wanted to think about those bad memories so he just side hugged Gauri and said "And I got one sister" making everyone smile.

"Ohh so now we dont have to spend much money in my wedding Bhai" said Rudra.

"And where does that comes from?" Shivay asked raising one of his eyebrow while Bhavya & Gauri looked at Rudra confusingly.

"Actually now that Gauri is our sister, we only have to give money to Annika for the shoe that she will hide in my wedding( the tradition in Indian weddings where the sisters of the bride hide the shoe of the groom & ask for some amount of money in return of the shoe)" Rudra said making them laugh with disbelief.

"How stupid" said Bhavya while playfully hitting Rudra on his shoulder.

It was 7:00 pm.
Om was still on sedatives. A nurse came from Annika's ward & informed that she asked for Gauri. Shivay was a bit disappointing, he wanted to meet her. Meanwhile Gauri went to her room.

"Annika" she said caressing her head.

"Gauri! How is bhai now?" she asked worriedly.

"Thankfully the operation was successful Annika. He is on injections. The doctor will inform us when he will wake up" she told Annika.

"Thankgod! I was so scared. I would have died if something would have happened to him" Annika cried hugging Gauri.

"Shhhh Annika!!! Dont say like that. Nothing would have happened to him. And nothing will happen to you, untill Shivay is here" Gauri said caressing her back.

"Gauri!!!?" Annika parted from the hug & looked at her confusingly.

"Yes Annika. Shivay is like an angel in our lives. I m sure till the time he is there with you, he wont let anything happen neither to you nor to anyone who is close to you. Annika had Shivay not been there today, I don't know what would have happened. You know the doctor urgently asked to arrange for two units of blood for Om. Om's blood group being so rare, I was hell scared, I could not understand what to do when Shivay came forward & helped. Luckily his blood group matched Om's & he donated blood to him. I dont know what is the connection but whenever something bad happens with you, Shivay is always there to save you like a saviour. I dont know if you ever did or not but I have noticed his eyes full of love. And that love is not for anyone else but you Annika. He loves you immensely. I have seen him crying for you. He was broken when he bought you here. He was so scared to lose you. I know you are scared to love again after what all have happened with you in past but people like Shivay are hard to find Annika. Dont let him go. Plzz!" Gauri said.

Annika was just listening to her whereas a movie flashed in her mind where all the moments that she spent with Shivay came in front of her eyes. Gauri was right. Shivay always helped her like an angel without worrying about his own reputation, his own life & his own self. She remembers how he was going to say something to her before she received the call about Om's accident. All those things that he said to her seemed so real & honest. The care, the concern, the loyalty was visible in his blue eyes. How can she let a perfect man like him go? She felt a smile curving around her lips. She could feel the love too. She wont let him go she thought.

"Why are you smiling Anni?" Gauri asked.

"Nothing Gauri. I will think about it" Annika replied. She didnt wanted to tell about her feelings to Gauri now. She wanted some time.

"Okay now you take rest, I will go & check on Om" Gauri said & left.

Annika didnt asked Gauri but her eyes were searching for Shivay. Her eyes were only on the door of her ward. She felt like going out & checking if he was there but she felt too weak to stand up.

She lied down & was about to close her eyes when she felt his presence. Lifting up her head she saw him coming in. This man was so freaking charming. Even after being there in the hospital from the evening, he looked so fresh & alluring she thought.

"So? How are you feeling now!?" He asked smiling at her.

"Damn this smile" Annika thought. Everything was suddenly so different yet beautiful. A new sensation started erupting in her tummy, it was ticklish yet pleasurable.

"Annika!?" Shivay said snapping his fingers in front of her.

Her trails of thought broke with that sound, getting a bit embarrassed at continuously checking him out, she answered his question.
"Feeling better Shivay, Thanku" she smiled softly at him.

He was still standing.
"Please sit!" she said.

It was as if he was just waiting to listen to this. He quickly came forward & sat behind her bed.
"Thank you Shivay" she said while a tear escaped her eyes.

"For what Annika!?" he asked her with amusement.

"For helping Om bhaiya. You dont even know what have you done for me today. I cant ever pay you back for this." she said wiping her tears.

"You can pay me back!" he said making her confuse.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"You just need to smile all the time & thats it" he said making her giggle.

"Annika dont worry Om is fine. He just woke up. Gauri is there with him. We haven't told him about you though. We said you are at home with Bhavya's parents." he said.

She could see the care in his eyes. The care was not only for her but for her brother too?? "Why was he so perfect?? Oh man I m falling for this guy so badly" Annika thought.

She smiled at him & nodded her head as if telling him that she understood what all he said.

"Now I think I should leave Annika. You please take rest & just inform if there is anything you need" He stood up and said making her face lift down.

She quickly held his hand and said "Please dont go Shivay! Stay here with me"

He could feel it was more of a request. He never expected that from her. Infact he was scared that she might hate him for telling her his feelings but she was acting normal. Does she remembers that I said I like her? he thought. Although he wanted to stay with her, always. But the way she asked him to stay made his heart dance with joy. He could see her heart melting while he smiled at her.
