I woke to a welcoming warm touch on my body. I opened my eyes and saw him staring at me. “How long have you been awake?” Drakus chuckled and shrugged. “Just woke up. I saw you and had to look. You’re really cute when you talk about penguins.” I knew I was blushing like crazy. “Whatever.” I sat up and stretched my arms. Doing so, I felt a kick in my stomach. I smiled and placed a hand there. “They’re kicking.” Drakus smiled and placed his hand where mine was. Another kick, but a bit lighter. He chuckled and  kissed my cheek. “I can’t wait for the birth.” I pouted. “That would be pure hell.” He wrapped his arms around me. “I’ll be by your side. Always.”

I could have swear I at least puked my dinner from yesterday, the day before, and the day before that. Drakus patted my back as Kimmy was rubbing my arms. After a short puke, I spoke. “This baby is literally kicking the life out of me.” “You don’t look dead yet.” I glared over to Kimmy, who laughed nervously. “Never mind. So talked of any names yet?” “No. But I do have one in mind.” I answered, eying Drakus. He smiled and kissed my cheek. “Oh?” “If the baby’s a girl I want to name her ‘Celia’.” Drakus kneeled next to me. “After your sister?” I nodded. Since Drakus came into my life, I thought less of my late sister. I don’t mourn like I use to, but I do miss her.

Drakus must have felt my emotion. He hugged me and kissed my forehead. “I don’t mind naming our baby after her. Besides, I think it’s cute.” I smiled and rubbed myself against my mate. “Thank you.” “If we have a boy… let’s name him ‘Xavius’.” I chuckled and planted myself on Drakus’ lap. “I like it.” We both looked at each other. I loved the color of Drakus’ eyes. (Don’t judge!) 

“Hey, Joel.” “Yeah?” “I love you.” “Love you, too.” We inched closely and then… “TOO CUTE!” “Kimmy!” We forgot about her. Maybe that what happens when you’re in love. Kimmy giggled and hugged us tightly. “You’re just too cute together!” “Shut it!”
