Tonight

'It wasn't you or the secrets; it was the lack of trust,'

"Why on Earth are you wearing a scarf when it's 28 degrees outside?" Mishil halted on her steps at Sora's question. Crap! Of course, she would notice! "Just felt like it, it's just soo pretty that I had to wear it!" She nervously laughed, bringing out a plate to grab some waffles. "Oh yeah! And that's totally unrelated to the fact that you're a bit unstable on your feet?" Soo-Ah wiggled her eyebrows, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Am I?" Her cheeks flamed up, finally relaxing her posture to relieve some pressure off her sore thighs. "Yeah," Sora simply nodded, swallowing a piece of her waffle. "So, did you guys have se-" "OKAY STOP!" Mi Eun interjected, not exactly wanting to bring that to the breakfast table. "Take it easy, Mish," Throwing the girl a teasing wink, she returned to her pancakes.

"Oh my God, you guys are the worst!" Mishil shot back finally taking a seat, and whipping off the silk scrap revealing her neck painted with dark purple bruises peeking out of the collar of the black shirt she wore. "Oh damn!" Sora laughed while Soo-Ah whistled. "So you guys did the deed, huh!" She nudged her best friend's shoulders making her blush furiously. "Shut up!"

"Man, I knew you'd be the first to lose the V card in between the two of us," Mishil's face was now as red as the strawberry jam on top of Sora's waffles and while it was an amusing sight to see, Sora couldn't help but feel her heart fill up. She had taken it upon herself to protect and take care of Mishil ever since the day she met her.

It was one of those feelings Sora had no explanation for. But when it came to this girl, she felt the need to shield her away from all the bad and worst of this world, to protect her little heart that had taken more than it deserved. To see her find someone to love and trust so much; made her happy.

So whilst Mi Eun and Soo-Ah were teasing the absolute shit out of the flustered girl, Sora simply reached for her hand and gave it a soft squeeze making them hold eye contact for the briefest of minutes. And in that minisicule of time; all was said.

"Okay you two shut up and keep your noses out of their business;" She laughed, finally shushing the other girls. "Yes, thank you! I'm hungry!" Mishil started with her waffles. "Of course you are! You've had a rather long night didn't you?" The poor girl choked at her best friend's words. "Oh my God shut up!" Sora passed a glass of water while slapping her back. "You're gonna end up killing the girl!"

"Who's killing who?" Taehyung rushed in followed by the rest of the boys just as Mishil's coughing subsided. "We're killing Mishil," Mi Eun laughed, pecking Jimin's cheek as he took a seat beside her.

"Why are you trying to kill my girlfriend?" Namjoon laughed taking the chair beside Mishil. "Just something," Soo-Ah laughed, exchanging knowing looks with Mi Eun. "Okay enough about, what's the schedule?" Mishil internally sent Sora endless gratitude, for finally changing the conversation topic.

God knows she'd have jumped off a cliff if Mi Eun and Soo-Ah started discussing that in front of the boys. "Well, today's concert is the last for the year so we're gonna be on a flight back home by tomorrow this time;" This information from Jin was met with a cheer.

Sure travelling was great but it was about time that they had some time back home. It was the final leg of the tour and they had only 4 cities left. Ending the tour successfully was now important.

"Man, I can't wait to get back home," Mishil felt his taller frame hug her from behind. "It's been too long," She agreed, her focus largely on the dishes that needed to be done. "You alright, love?" His large hands were set on her hips, sending shivers down her body. "I'm a bit sore but it'll be fine," She smiled shyly. "I'm sorry if I was too rough, baby." His actions contradict his words, as he leant forward to suck at the already bruised skin of her neck.

"Joon," She quietly whined, "Someone might walk in on us," "Let them!" Her cheeks instantly heated up at his nonchalance. "Well, I would like to keep our business private, thank you very much." She spun around in his hold, which wasn't going to work since he instantly claimed her lips this time.

"You are simply impossible!" She scolded once they separated to catch their breaths. "Your fault, you're simply irresistible!" Namjoon smiled teasingly, his full dimples on full display. "Don't put this on me, mister, you're the one with no whatsoever self-control!" "Again, your fault," She simply couldn't win this man.

"Kim Namjoon you better get your ass out of here! You have a concert in a few hours!" She scolded. "Why aren't you coming with me? I don't think I can bear being this far away from you," "Well, I'm gonna catch up on some sleep and be there right before the concert. Stop being corny!" In full honestly, Mishil liked him being corny. But him being like this made her feel fluttery all over.

"I'm sorry babe, I should've been gentler," He smiled guiltily massaging her hips softly. "You were perfect! Now don't overthink it and go!" She placed a soft kiss on his lips, ready to get out of his arms.

"Yeah, we're waiting;" "JESUS!" The soulmates sprung apart from each other at the sudden third voice. "Yoongi Hyung when did you get here?!" Namjoon asked his cheeks a fierce shade of pink. "I've been here, you guys were just too occupied to notice me. Now come on! We're gonna be late," And they knew Yoongi loved every bit of teasing them by the little Cheshire grin that rested on his lips.

"Bury me now!" Mishil groaned in embarrassment, her head falling to rest on Namjoon's chest. "It's fine! He'll barely let me hear the end of it but yeah that was-" "Get out before you embarrass us more, oh my God Joon!" Namjoon laughed at how embarrassed she got. "I'll see you soon!" He planted one last kiss on her lips before racing down the hallway. "Rest well!" She laughed at the instant shift of his attitude before leaning back against the counter. "God, I love him!" The giddy smile on her face, the glow in her being; she was truly in love with this man.

"Come on!" Mi Eun led the girls backstage. The girls had yet again jumped and screamed themselves sore and hoarse with the last concert of the year. "Did you have fun?" Mi Eun asked, excitedly walking down the narrow corridors. "You know it, they were amazing!" Sora announced, adrenaline still pumping through her veins. "Come on, let's go! They're waiting!" Mi Eun giggled, dodging some of the staff carrying around the stage equipment. "Careful!" Soo-Ah warned, ducking. Mishil simply laughed and jogged behind the girls, anticipation high.

Now that she'd come to terms with her feelings, being apart from him was not something she could bear. Every time she saw him on stage, her emotions ran high. And being inside his arms was all she wanted right now.

"Hey there!" Hoseok cheered as the girls filed in. "Hey, Hobi!" Sora gave him a tight hug. "You were amazing as always!" "Yep!" Mishil agreed, also hugging him. "Thank you!" He beamed, "Hyung, Sora's here!" He called for the oldest. "I know you're looking for him," Yoongi said, watching Mishil look around. "I am not-" "He's still changing so go ahead in the dressing room,"

"How-" "It's not like you haven't-" "OH MY GOD SHUT UP!" Mishil wailed, her cheeks flaming. The rest of the room broke into laughter as Mishil hurried down the long corridor, towards the dressing room where she knew he was.

"I thought I made myself clear," It wasn't Namjoon's voice that halted her in her excited steps, but the tone he was using. It was harsh and cold. Like he was seething in anger and was somehow holding it together;

"Cut the chase would you?!" That voice, that hauntingly familiar voice etched with annoyance and hints of desperation spoke up. "You can't tell me you want nothing to do with me now!" "That is exactly what I am telling you," Namjoon snapped, the rustling of clothes growing more rough and quick. Mishil slapped her hand over her mouth as she pressed her back against the room wall. It felt wrong to eavesdrop but who was going to blame her?

"I cannot believe you're leaving me for that tram-" "Don't you dare speak a word about her! And get over yourself for God's sake!" He was growling now! "I called things off because you were obsessed and over-stepped my boundaries left and right! Mishil wasn't even in the picture! So, stop talking shit about my girlfriend and soulmate and leave me alone!"

Mishil's head was spinning as she took in the heated conversation. It was like the world was turning into a frenzied mess and turning everything into a big ball of confusion and doubt. Who was she to trust? Who was being truthful? What exactly was the truth?

"Does she know?" The woman asked after a few beats of electrifying silence. "Does she know that she came into your life and took my place? I'm not sure if you've been truthful to her in this aspect,"

"Shut up! Whether she knows or not is none of your business! Stay out of our lives!" Namjoon gritted out and he might've said something more but Mishil wasn't there to listen. She took off running, not being able to handle the information dump. He might've had an explanation but right now, she needed to get away from him.

Anything he would say would do no help. Her heart beat so loud that her chest felt tight, and the air in the room felt sparse! She needed to get away and she needed to that fast! Rushing down the long corridor, her sneakers thumping on the tiled floor, her head spinning.

Why'd it hurt soo much? Was the fact that he failed to mention that little detail to her? Or was it the fact that she hadn't heard him correct that lady when she called her a replacement? They were soo happy, sky-high in emotions and wrapped up in each other just 4 hours before. What had happened? Was he having second thoughts?

Soo many questions and no answers; who was she going to ask? Namjoon? What guarantee was there that he wouldn't omit yet another piece of truth? Just this morning, she felt like life couldn't get any better and now? It felt like her legs weren't stable on the ground. The ground was closing up and her vision got blurrier with each breath she took.

It was Jimin who caught her mid-stumble. "Woah, you alright?!" He quickly caught her in his arms to break her fall. "What's wrong?" Jimin's light-hearted tone immediately changed into a serious one when he saw her red-rimmed eyes and shaking form. Gaining everyone's attention in the cheerful room.

Before he could ask any more questions, Jimin felt her body go limp in his hold. "What's wrong with her?" Sora's voice was cautious and shaky as she sprung up from her chair. "I think...she passed out," His voice was shaking, holding the girl tighter to provide her from surfacing.

"Jimin, get her on the couch quickly," Yoongi prompted, quickly moving jackets and spare clothes away. "Where's Namjoon?" He looked around, eyes narrowed as Mishil was lying on the couch. "What's going on?" Namjoon stepped into the room, his tone confused and rather rough until he saw what everyone has gathered around. "What happened to her?" He quickly knelt by her side, moving the hair away from her face.

"Hyung I have no idea, she came out of the corridor looking like this and almost fell and I caught her," Jimin explained, his voice panicked. "She came in from there...?" It was as though someone had pushed a block of ice down his spine. Had she...heard him?
