Forty-Seven
Over the next weeks, the shop really began to come together. The Weasleys and Calliope painted the outside of the shop a vibrant purple with orange borders on the windows and doors.
The shelves and display cabinets had all been set up and by the beginning of June, the three called in the assistance of Remus, Elphias, Bill, Molly and Arthur to help them in stocking the shelves. All of the boxes had been moved from the twins' room at the Burrow and had been piled up in the middle of the shop floor.
"So that's why you wanted all of us to come and help," said Bill as the group pondered the pile of boxes, "you seriously want all of this shelved by hand?"
"Yes we do," said George also regarding the boxes.
"And you think that we're going to help you with that?" Bill asked.
"Yes we do," said Fred.
Bill let out a big sigh, clearly exhausted with his brothers, "I suppose that we'd better get started if we want to make it to the meeting tonight."
"Are we invited to this one?" George asked hopefully.
"No," said Molly crossing her arms and pursing her lips.
"Actually Molly, Albus asked me to bring Calliope along," said Elphias.
"Well, we're a package deal," Fred grinned at his mother, "so I guess that means we're coming."
"Well now that we've got that settled, get unpacking!" George clapped vigorously causing Calliope to roll her eyes and pick up the first box of skiving snack boxes to put onto the shelves.

The stocking of the shelves took most of the day with only a brief pause for lunch (courtesy of Molly, who-in Calliope's opinion-makes an awesome set of sandwiches), and left the group exhausted.
It had surprised Calliope to see Remus and Elphias get so stuck into the twins' dream. The two had seen how committed Calliope was to the shop and making it work for the twins, and because of this, they wanted to show their support to Calliope's decision after having been initially sceptical.
The time of the meeting was given to the twins and they were told to meet the others there as Elphias asked Calliope to join him in going to Grimmauld Place earlier than the others. Fred was ready to protest to this, but Calliope stopped him saying nothing but fixing him with a simple look.
Elphias and Calliope headed off to Grimmauld Place an hour and a half before the meeting was scheduled to start. Having not yet passed her apparition test (it being scheduled for the next week) Calliope held onto her grandfather's arm for the jorney, only letting go when they appeared on the small worn piece of grass in the centre of Grimmauld Place.
"Why did you want me to come ahead of the others?" Calliope finally asked the man now that they were alone.
"Albus asked me to bring you," replied Elphias his expression unreadable, "he said he wants to speak to you privately."

"Take a seat Calliope," Albus gestured to a seat on the sofa in the drawing room where the two were alone. Calliope seated herself on the musty sofa, as Dumbledore took a seat himself on a worn armchair.
"If you're about to ask me who will die, Harry or Voldemort then I can't help you. I still don't know," Calliope said immediately.
Dumbledore chuckled lightly, "no that is not what I want to discuss, this conversation is almost entirely about you Calliope."
"Me?"
"Yes you," Dumbledore nodded, "now that you have left Hogwarts I feel that it is imperative that you are aware of several things."
"What like the fact that Voldemort wants me?" Calliope asked, "I already know that Professor."
"Yes that was one of the things that I wanted to make you aware of," Dumbledore nodded, "Voldemort has always searched for a way to thwart death, more recently his plans to do this have involved you, he believes that with a banshee on his side he will truly be invincible."
"Well he wouldn't be, and I'll never help him."
Dumbledore gave a small smile, "another thing that I wanted to warn you of is that Voldemort can and will use any weakness you may possess against you. Whilst the bond that you share with Mr Weasley has many strengths, Voldemort may be able to use it against you if given the opportunity, so I implore you not to give him the opportunity to do this."
Calliope remained silent and nodded, she had never viewed the bond in this way before, but upon reflection, she realised that a key thing she should have taken from Euan and Io's tale was that the bond could be a weakness as well as a strength.
"I would also ask you if the whispers have any imminent warnings for us."
Calliope bit her lip and closed her eyes, delving into her mind and listening intently to what the whispers were murmuring in the back of her mind.
"I've already told Sirius," she said eventually, "but at the moment the whispers are still saying that he will die."
Dumbledore nodded grimly, before reaching into his robes and pulling out an old stack of withered parchment, "and lastly I would like to give you this back." He offered Calliope the stack of parchment, which she took.
She examined it to find that it was the manuscript of Blanche Eggerly's 'Observations on Banshees'.
"Thank you. Professor." Calliope smiled.
