Part 6- What Fears Us Most..
Clyde sighed, looking down at the crown. "How am I gonna tell the queen the exact truth? I'm not ready to tell her..."
"Tell me what?" Raine asked, shedding tears. "Explain what you did to Blaze, right now!" She clawed him, and he fell.
"Ah- my queen, what must you be talking about?" He said, backing up a bit.
Raine growled. "You know what you did, so talk!"
"No, I don't really. You must have the wrong wolf." He faded away.
Raine blew fire, and he appeared, his black eyes staring at hers. "I can't tell you anything, Raine.."
Raine looked at him, still angry. "Why is that so?"
"I just can't.." he walked away.
"Tell me what you did!" Raine ran up to him and he howled, as smoke began to circle around him, his eyes went full black.
Clyde looked at her. "I told you already, I can't!" He sighed, looking at the crown. Raine saw the crown, and thought. "Did you kill him... because of the crown?"
Clyde shed a tear, and began to run. Raine broke free from the smoke, and walked back home.
Meanwhile, Clyde stopped running, and saw a box up ahead, and stared at it. It hummed a tune, then popped out a perfume spray, and he covered his nose from the smell, and a wolf was standing in front of him. He looked confused. "Um, yes?"
The wolf smiled, and a sword was in his jaw, and sliced it at him. He backed up. "Who are you?"
"You know who I am, kid."
Clyde gasped. "Why do you have a sword?"
"Oh, no worries. It's not like it won't hurt anyone, right?" He slashed it, almost hitting him. "Oh, sorry. It's just out of control."
"Why do you want to hurt me so badly?" Clyde walked around him.
"I don't want to hurt you, I want you to kill her, or I'll kill you!" He slashed the sword again.
Clyde was afraid. He knew it was a shadow playing in his head the whole time, and can't escape. He glared at the wolf. "Stop it, you shadow!" His eyes went black, feeling angry.
The wolf smiled, and turned into a shadow, and disappeared into the deep dark forest. Clyde went after the shadow, and saw many of them forming a circle around him. "Stop! Stop!"
His shadow self stared back at him. "Kill the Queen, and I'll leave you alone." He disappeared behind him.
Clyde's shadow began to laugh, making him laugh as well. He thought of the queen, and how he used to be nice to her when they were pups, now he's going to kill her.
Clyde laughed, as his eyes went black. "I have to kill the queen, for the master! If I didn't, he'll kill me."
He called her name, and she didn't appeared. He ran to their kingdom, until he saw fire guards pointing their weapons at him. He blew black mist in their eyes, making them blind, then stormed into the throne room where she was. "Raine!"
She looked at him, and rolled her eyes. "What, Clyde? Another fight, I guess?"
He smiled. "Give me all you got, cause it's worth the wait for me. I got other things to do besides killing you!"
She grabbed her sword and slashed him, but realized he disappeared. She gasped. "What's going on?"
He appeared behind her, and shadow wolfs attacked the guards while Clyde was looking at Raine. "Pathetic Queen. Why did you plan to rule over such a hatred kingdom?" He growled at her.
Raine backed up, afraid. "My kingdom isn't full of hatred, it's a peace act, and your not taking it from me!"
"Well, if you didn't, I would have to kill you. Master's orders."
"What? Master?" Raine gasped, then ran up to him. "What master?"
"If you ever realized, the whole kingdom hates you, just for killing off blaze and moonlight, eh?" Clyde smiled.
Raine backed up. "Wha- I didn't even kill them. I don't know who murdered her, but you killed blaze for the throne!" She yelled, her powerful howl shaking the ground.
The shadow wolfs surrounded her and pinned her down. Clyde walked forward, smiling. "Just because I killed blaze doesn't mean anything. Your kingdom will fall!" He growled.
