Nathaniel now rose his blade and began to slice the air in a hurried manner.  The sword seemed to cut a symbol in the air.

Defense: Basic Ward

Effect: Basic Wards are a basic spell used to expel a magical attack.  Think of it like a magic shield that only works on magic.  While other wards have other effects, this one is used to only protect from the electric discharge.

"Chosen I may be, but I truly am a warrior of the light.  So much so, I had received the ultimate blessing of the gods.  Sadly, I feel as though I must save it for later in battle.  Now It is my turn to send forth an attack."

Attack: Light slash

Effect: The Shined Sword now releases waves of light energy in a powerful attack.  Each are sent in an elaborate pattern to guarantee it being hard to dodge.
