The birds where kind to there master.  They shielded him from the attack the best they could.  In the end, he was on his knees laughing like a lunatic.  He now raised his head to reveal that his red glowing eyes were as bright as the sun.

"A champion of light,

has come to the fight.

a familiar face

will make you disappear without a trace.

the birds will frown

Leadbomber now gets ready to use a previous challenger to fight as soon as The Birdwatcher is struck down.
