Lil' Sidekick

Becca retrieved her wrench, prepared to defend herself. However, as the projector's light blinded her, she realized her feet were no longer soaked in ink. Blinking a few times, she suddenly noticed she was standing in a graveyard—a small, monochromatic one at that.

Confused, she looked around, taking in the black and white surroundings. Even her own appearance had transformed into a black and white version.

Wait... were these hands or paws? She examined her limbs, noticing her fingers had been replaced by webbed paws. Surprisingly, her thumbs remained intact. She silently expressed gratitude for being allowed to keep her thumbs; it would certainly make wielding the wrench easier.

Perplexed, Becca surveyed her surroundings, realizing she had entered the animated realm of the skeleton episode she had seen throughout the studio. How did she end up in this animation?

A realization struck her: this must be a dream! Joey didn't push her, so it had to be a bizarre dream. To confirm, she pinched herself with her webbed paws. However, no pain registered, and no sound escaped her mouth. Curiosity piqued, she observed as the entire place darkened. Then, before her eyes, white serif text materialized in front of her, displaying the words "No pain!"

"Huh..." she muttered, bemused by the strange occurrence.

"Well, if it's a dream, that means I can do whatever I want!" she exclaimed silently. With a whimsical idea in mind, she attempted to imagine the entire place turning into porcelain. However, to her disappointment, the surroundings remained the same black and white cartoon.

"Guess those lucid dreamers are just fakes," she mused. "Oh well, might as well see where this dream takes me!"

Embracing the dreamlike nature of her experience, Becca embarked on her journey through the cartoon world. She walked with determination, hoping to find Bendy and his little pink tutu.

Soon enough, she caught sight of a mischievous tail disappearing behind a tombstone. "There he is," she thought, giving chase.

As she rounded the tombstone, she discovered Curly, a character labeled as Bendy's sidekick, being bullied by three skeletons. Feeling a sense of camaraderie, Becca decided to intervene.

"Curly isn't as bonita as Bendy, but might as well help him," Rebecca thought to herself.

She hurled her wrench at the skeletons, striking them and causing them to collapse into piles of bones. Curly ceased covering their head and regarded Becca with a mixture of relief and wariness.

She offered a friendly smile and waved, but her joyful expression was short-lived as her wrench returned like a boomerang, hitting her in the face. Without a sound escaping her mouth, text appeared in front of her, conveying her pain.

Rubbing her head, she put her wrench away, smiled, and waved at Curly once again. To her surprise, he seemed terrified and swiftly ran off. Becca momentarily contemplated following him, but before she could decide, the piles of bones began to shake and reassembled into skeletons.

The skeletons turned their attention toward her, but Becca wore a bored expression. She lightly flicked one of them, causing all three to collapse once more.

Taking note of the linear path ahead, Becca realized the place seemed to continue straight ahead. She forged ahead, eventually spotting Curly perched in a tree, observing her silently.

Pondering for a moment, Becca attempted to coax Curly closer by patting her legs, but he responded by sticking his tongue out and revealing a sign featuring the face of an otter crossed out. Below it, the sign read, "NO TOXIN TROOP ALLOWED."
