After the slumber party, I was a little more comfortable talking to Kirishima. I also feel like I was better friends with Mina too.

I was at home, in my basement lifting weights. I did this every night, in order to get stronger. I knew that my quirk wouldn't be strong enough to use in battle, so ever since I was 8 years old I used the weights in my basement to train. And ever since then, I was able to build up the strength in my body to make up for my quirk.

The next morning, I woke up ready for another day at school. I was going to meet Mina and Toru so we could walk together. So after I finished getting ready for the day, I raced outside so that I wouldn't miss them. They were both outside waiting for me. "Hey Y/N!!" Toru called to me.

"Hey!!" I called back, "Ready to go?"

"Yep, all ready!" Mina exclaimed.

We walked through our neighborhood talking different random things. It was good to know that both Toru and Mina lived nearby. I was worried that I would be left out from friends I made because of my location.

As we were getting closer to UA, I heard some ruckus coming from behind a grocery store. "Do you guys hear that too?" I asked, looking to see where the noise was coming from.

"Yeah. Weird." Mina said, looking with me.

"Maybe it's best if we don't get involved with whatever's going on over there." Toru said. "We should just focus on getting to school."

"Yeah you're probably ri-" Mina got hit in the head by a flying boulder coming from behind the store, and she collapsed to the ground.

"Mina!" Me and Toru yelled.

I knelt beside her and started shaking her, "Mina! Can you hear me? Please wake up!" She seemed to be unconscious and blood was leaking from her forehead. This wasn't good.

Then a man stepped out from behind the store and looked straight at us. "Damn, did I do that? Sorry for the trouble, I wasn't aiming for you."

I felt my heart skip a beat. It couldn't be...

I looked into his eyes, how could I forget that face. Nothing changed. Images came back to my head, of this gruesome man, smashing Anika into the ground.

I looked back to see Toru who was trembling in fear, and looked down to see Mina who was still unconscious. We had to get out of this mess, but we still had a while to go before we were able to get to UA. How were we supposed to leave?

The man looked at us, "Wait a second, you three are from UA aren't ya?"

"What should we do?" Toru whispered to me.

I couldn't respond, I couldn't move.

Then his eyes settled on me, and turned into a glare. "It's you. How could I forget that scared little face of yours?"

"Y-Y/N? W-what is he talking about?" Toru stammered.

I slowly stood up. And I remembered what Kirishima said. 'It's not easy to speak up without hesitating. But once you know what you believe in, you'll learn to face your fears.'

"Go." I said. "Get Mina out of here, she needs to be healed."

"What? No! I can't leave you!" She said, I could hear in her voice that she was worried.

I turned to her and gave her a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine."

"Enough chit-chat!!" He yelled, and threw a punch at me. I quickly ducked and raced to his side to throw a counterattack.

I punched his fully extended arm with full force. But it didn't even flinch. "Nice try kid, but that's not gonna work on me!" He threw me to the side, crashing me into the grocery store.

I fell to the ground. My arm felt limp, and my back felt like it was being stabbed. I winced as I tried to look up at Toru. She was holding Mina in her arms and taking slow steps backward as the man approached her. "You two sure are cute, but I can't let ya live since you saw me." He said, extending his arm to grab Toru.

No. No! Get up Y/N! You have to protect them! Don't make the same mistake twice!

I lifted myself up little by little despite the pain. And pushed myself to hold his arm back. "Run Toru!" I called out. "You need to get out of here! Get Mina to safety!"

"Get off me you damn brat!" The man started shaking his arm fiercely.

I saw Toru run away with Mina. Good. Now hopefully they'd be safe.

"Damn you." He growled at me, "You made me lose them!"

He threw me over to the grocery store again. This time the pain really stung. He approached me and kneeled at my side, lifting my head up by my hair. "Ya know, I usually forget everyone I kill, but I remembered you and your sister. Probably because you left before I could kill you too. But don't worry, I'll kill you now to make up for that." He gave me a threatening smirk. "Oh, and I guess since you're gonna die anyways, I'll let you know the name of your murderer... you can call me Brawn Bone."

I can't die. I still need to accomplish my dream. There's so much I haven't done. C'mon Y/N! Get up! I struggled to slowly lift myself upwards. Brawn Bone just laughed and kicked me backwards.

"I killed your sister kinda quick, but since you didn't play along and let me kill you then.." He grinned, "I'm gonna make up for that by tearing you apart, piece by piece."

Why won't my body move? It can't be over. I just started! I need to avenge Anika! Now's not the time for my body to go limp. I need to fight. I looked up at Brawn Bone and used my quirk to make me seem farther away. I concentrated hard on making everything seem at a long distance, not just his sight. Maybe if I couldn't move physically, I could ask him the question I've been wondering for so many years.

"Why..." I managed to say. "Why did you have to kill my sister, and so many other helpless lives?!"

"Simply because it gives me pleasure." He said, "Heroes try to stop me from killing people, so I've always despised them. There are some who share my hobby, like that Shigaraki guy, but I'm not just gonna join him cuz of that. I'm my own person, I take my own orders!"

Did he just say Shigaraki? What's a guy like him doing with the League of Villains? I released my quirk, and Brawn Bone found himself walking past me. "Damn brat! Was that you?!" He whipped around, with a furious expression on his face.

He grabbed me by uniform and started slamming me against the wall and the ground over and over. The pain was excruciating. I helplessly clawed at his hands, trying to free myself but it was no use. My vision began to blur, but I could see the sleeves of my uniform starting to tear and slowly being soaked with blood.

As he kept slamming me onto the floor and the walls, I felt myself drifting to unconsciousness. No. He'd kill me if I couldn't fight back. I can't die here! Not yet! My whole body throbbed with pain. Then came one last throw to the side of the store before everything went black.

(Aizawa's POV)

I was about to walk into my classroom when I heard a voice coming from down the hall screaming for help. Of course I ran over in that direction to see what was going on. It was Hagakure, and she was holding Ashido in her arms who was unconscious and bleeding from the head. "Mr. Aizawa!" Hagakure pleaded. "You need to help Y/N!! There was a villain who attacked us when we were walking to school, and she's fighting him all on her own! He seems really powerful, I don't know how long she can last!"

"Ok, calm down. Focus on bringing Ashido to Recovery Girl." I reassured her. "Do you know where you were when the villain attacked you?"

"Yeah, it was by that grocery store that's about ten blocks that way." She pointed out the window while trying not to drop Ashido.

"Ok, bring Ashido to Recovery Girl," I said running off.

I warned the other staff what was going on before leaving, Snipe and Ectoplasm volunteered to assist me in the rescue. The three of us raced in the direction Hagakure pointed to us. Before long, we reached the grocery store Hagakure was talking about. There were crashing noises coming from the far side of the building. So I got my scarf ready and we hurried over there.

There was a man who was holding a blood soaked Y/N by her uniform preparing to bash her against the bloodstained walls of the grocery store. "Dammit, since when did pros show up?" He said before dropping Y/N.

I grabbed him with my scarf and pulled him back while Snipe shot up his arms. "Agh! Bastards!" He cursed.

As he struggled to break free from my grasp, I erased his quirk. "Don't try anything foolish."

Ectoplasm came up from behind him and knocked him out. Then, I let go of him. "Y/N's wounds look serious," I said, examining her. "We need to bring her to the hospital, and as for this guy, the police should be here soon to lock him up."

Soon enough, the police arrived with an ambulance for Y/N. As they were loading Y/N into the ambulance, I started to wonder. Why would this villain attack UA students out in public? And based on Y/N's wounds, he must've gone all out on her. Why?

"Eraser!" Snipe came over to me. "We'll handle the rest of this, you should probably get back to your class. The rest of your students are waiting for you."

I nodded then ran off, back to UA. I've never seen that villain before. And when the police went over his profile, I didn't recognize any of that either. Hopefully he wasn't associated with the League. If he was, then there would be a possibility that they could be targeting UA.
