Muk: wo nandini ne sab sach kaha. Humne hee un gundo ko bheja tha..Nandini k peeche.

This was the biggest bomb dropped on fab4. To say they were hell shocked would be an understatement for sure. Just few minutes ago they were blaming Nandini for being a liar and a low girl for sending goons behind girls..n now..their very own best friends had started this..all this while Nandini was telling them the truth..but their faith and trust on each other was such that they knew what Nandini said is impossible. As she said..if Fab5 are in..they r in together. Had it been the girls' plan..they would have informed the boys and made arrangements for their back up and security.
The boys ddnt knw what to say or how to react. Finding them quite and shocked..Mukti continues..

Muk: we thought that Nandini is here to break fab5..as because of her yesterday Cabir and Manik both shouted at us. We ddnt want any differences to come between us.. and that's y we wanted to win this challenge..

Cab (shocked): like this? By sending goons behind Nandini?

Dhr: i dont believe this. Being girls urselves..how could u play with some other girl's dignity?

Al: we know we have done a mistake, but plz listen to us.

Cab: what should we listen to Aliya? How will u justify ur this act?

Muk: cabir plz..we know we r wrong this time..but trust us..today after spending a day at orphanage, we got to see a different side of Nandini..n we realised that she is someone special..and we wanted to cancel our plan but it just slipped from our minds.

Cab: slipped??? Really Mukti? (Raising his volume) do u have any freaking idea what could have happened with her? What if really those goons would have crossed their limits? Nandini and Navya..both were alone there..what if something terrible would have happened?

Dhr: how can u do this? We fab5 have done many nasty pranks..but we always took care that it shouldnt harm the other person.. n what u girls did? U both ddnt even bother to share ur plan with us.

Al: we wanted to share it Dhruv. Infact Mukti tried telling u guys but everytime something or the other came up n we couldnt inform.

Dhr: and yet u carried out this plan? Even when u ddnt discuss it with us?

Cab: and why all this? Coz u thought that Nandini is bringing differences between us..between fab5?
U knw what, today if fab5 is back in music..if music has touched our lives again then its all because of Nandini. Had she not been there, Manik wouldn't have been able to sing. It was Nandini who told Manik that all he has to do is take a first step..and then he has 4 pillars to support him..we r the 4 pillars (pointing towards himself n them). N u r saying that she wanted to break our friendship.

Dhr: its not Nandini who got differences in fab5..its U girls. I always opposed our ideas for this challenge..but i stood for it coz it was a fab5 idea..n even if i oppose..we were always together. But this time..u girls really crossed ur limits.

All this time Manik was silent. He had gone numb with this revelation. All he could hear was Mukti saying that she had sent those goons behind Nandini..
Cabir notices him..

Cab: Manik?

No response.

Cabir shakes him a little.

Cab: Manik..u ok?

Manik looks at cabir with no expressions.

Mukti comes forward

Muk: Manik, i knw we have committed a very big mistake n we are ashamed on it..plz forgive us.

Manik looks at her, again with expressionless face.

Al: Manik, plz shout at us..fight with us but dont stay quite. Plzzz.

Dhr: what will he say? U cant imagine his inner turmoil. Today after such a long time aunty spoke to him so lovingly..that too because of Nandini.. and just few minutes later..again that sourness..and THAT...because of U girls. We spoke so much against Nandini..when all this while she was right. Manik even slapped her for u both..yet u kept quite. (Manik recalls how ruthlessly he slapped Nandini..he shuts his eyes slowly in guilt)..can u imagine what could have happened with Navya had Nandini not been there?
(Listening to Navya's name, Cabir closes his eyes tight recalling her state). What could have happened to u both?
Forget about Navya..forget about u girls..had Nandini not been courageous enough, (lowering his volume to sound dangerous), do u have any idea what could have happened with Nandini? Those guys could have crossed all their limits..they could have molest.....

Man (shouts): enough!!

Aliya and Mukti keep crying listening to all this..but they knew whatever they were saying is all true. They shudder at their place listening to Manik's shout.

Manik opens his eyes which were blood shot due to anger..pain and tears.. turning towards Muklya

Man: Nandini was right. We r the most disgusting and cheap people on earth.. we ddnt think before trying to attack on a girl's dignity.. we ddnt think before risking her life.. and we call ourselves Fab5 (chuckles sarcastically)

Al: we r sorry Manik. It was our fault. Plz dont blame urself.

Man: ddnt u hear what Nandini said? Or did u forget Mukti what u told her? IF FAB5 ARE IN..THEY R IN TOGETHER.
She being a stranger understood it so well that fab5 never keeps secret from each other..n we? Here our group girls went on deciding the nastiest plan for a girl and we have no freaking idea about it.

Muk: Manik plzz listen to us. I knw we have committed a crime..but trust us..we tried telling u guys but couldnt.

Man: u could have told the truth instead of faking about ur mom's work dammit!!! U still had a chance to say..but u chose to lie.
N how could u think that any outsider would b able to bring differences among us? Among fab5? Just coz i shouted at u guys u thought that i m being drifted apart from u? From fab5? Fab5 which has been my backbone ryt from the very beginning..u all knw what has happened in the past..when i had cut out from everyone..it was only fab5 with whom i stayed..yet u thought that we r getting differences?? How could u Mukti? Do u knw how m i feeling? I bloody slapped a girl only n only for u both..n u think that we have differences? Manik Malhotra never raised his hand on a girl..but today he did..only for u..and too when she was right and u (pointing at them)..U were....wrong.
I..... u guys just......

Shaking his head in denial..he goes from there towards his room.

Cab: an outsider can never break our bond...but keeping such secrets from each other can. It wasnt Nandini who got differences in us..but its u girls.

Saying so..Cabir too leaves from there.

Dhruv was about to leave when Aliya catches hold of his hand.

Al: Dhruv baby..i m sorry..we really are.. plz give us one last chance..plzzzz dont leave.

Dhr: i never expected this from u Aliya. We werent only best of friends..we r a couple too..yet u kept this secret from me. I m highly disappointed.

Removing her hand from his..Dhruv too leaves..leaving behind 2 girls..who were crying incoherently.

Muk: what did we do Aliya? How did we become so insensitive?

Al: Cabir was right. Not Nandini..but we broke fab5.

After leaving the Malhotra Mansion..Navni were moving towards Nandini's cab. On reaching there..Navya stops Nandni on feeling something wet on her hand which was holding Nandini's hand. She looks at Nandini's hand and freaks out.

Nav: hey matarani!! Nandu..tumhe to bohot chot lagi hai..bohot khoon b beh raha hai. Tumhara dehaan kaha hai?

She tears the end of her dupatta and ties it on Nandini's wound. Nandini all this time was standing with her head hung low.

Nan: sorry Navya.

Nav(confused): sorry??kisliye?

Nan(while keeping her head low): aaj meri waje se tumhare saath itna kuch hogaya. Wo gunde tumhare liye nahi mere liye aaye the..lekin unhune tumhe Nandini samajh liya. M sorry mere waje se tumhe in sab se guzarna padha. Mene kaha tha aaj phir kehti hu..mujhse dooor raho Navya..me tumhe sirf dard de sakti hu.

Navya raises her head holding her chin..

Nav: agar tumhare saath rehne se hume dard milta hai..toh hume ye dard manzoor hai Nandu. Kyunki ye ajeeb dard hai..jisme takleef hone k bajaay hume khushi milti hai..aasoo k badle hasi milti hai. Tumhe ye yaad hai k gundo ne hume Nandini samajh liya..lekin ye yaad nahi k hume unse bachaane waali b tum thi. Nandu..humne jo kuch b abhi andar kaha na..wo sab sach tha.. hum tumhari dosti kisi b keemat pe khona nahi chahte..plz hume khud se door mat karo.
Aur raha aaj ka sawal to hum to khush hai k hum tumhare saath the..werna hume kabhi b tumhara Dharmendra avataar dekhne ko nahi milta.. haay sachi Nandu..kya maara tumne unhe..chutti kerdi tumne sabki...
N she goes on n on.

Nandini was all the time staring at her..how she was adamant to b by her side. All Nandini's pledges of not making friends were drowning somewhere. .n she wasnt upset on tht..coz somehwere her heart had recognised that this time..this friendship would b for lifetime. All of a sudden she asks..

Nan: meri dost banogi?

This stopped Navya's chanting abruptly. She looks at Nandini with wide open eyes.

Nav: kya..kya kaha tumne?

Nan: meri koi dost nahi hai Navya..aur naahi me dost banaati hu. Lekin aaj dil ne kaha tumse dosti karu..lekin shayad me ek achi dost nahi ban paau. Meri zindagi me bohot si baate hai jo mene kisi se nahi kahi.. tumhe bohot se aise sawaal aayenge mann me jinka jawab me de na paau..phir b tumse dosti kerna chahti hu.. karogi? Kar paaogi mujhpe bharosa?

Navya just hugs her tight n cries.

Nav: tumhe pata hai Nandu..hum na aaj bohot dar gaye the...unki baato se.. aur jab wo log hume apne saath le jaa rahe the..hume laga koi nahi aayega hume bachaane.. lekin phir tum aayi. Aur bilkul hamare hero ki tarah tumne unse fight ki.

Nandini was rubbing her back to calm her down.

Nan: sshhh Navya.. me hu yaha..darne ki zarurat nahi hai.

Nav: hum jaante hai Nandu..jab tak tum hamare saath ho..hume darne ki koi zarurat nahi hai.

Breaking the hug she continues..

Nav: Nandu..hume nahi pata k aisi kya baate hai jo tumne kisi se nahi kahi..aur ye b nahi jaante k tum dost kyu nahi banaati. Lekin hum itna zaroor jaante hai k tum duniya ki sabse achi dost ho. Jab sirf humne tumhe apna dost maana..tab tumne itna kiya hamare liye..to socho agar tum kisi ko apna dost maano to kya kuch nahi karogi uske liye.
Aur rahi bharose ki baat..Nandu..hum tumse kabhi koi sawal nahi puchenge..kyunki hum jaante hai..tum kuch galat nahi karogi... aur jab waqt sahi hoga..tum hume zaroor bataaogi.
Hum tumhari dost banne ka mauka kabhi nahi chodenge Nandu..kabhi nahi.

This gets a big wide genuine smile on Nandini's face.

Nan: chale?

Nav: nandu...hum hostel kaise jaay? Aise to hum hostel nahi jaana chahte.

Nandini thinks for a while.

Nan: ahh..mere saath mere ghar chalogi?

Navya just nods happily.

Navni sit in the cab n leave. On their way..Nandini calls up her centre n tells them she wont b able to drop back the cab tonight n that she will drop it by tmrw.

Seeing the route where they were going..navya speaks..

Nav: Nandu..ye konsa raasta hai? Ye to orphanage nahi jaata na?

Nan (confused): tumhe orphanage jaana hai?

Nav: nahi..matlab haan..hamara matlab tumhi ne kaha na hum tumhare saath tumhare ghar jaayenge.

Nan: haan to ghar kaha na...orphanage thodi kaha.

Nav: .matlab tum.orphanage me nahi rehti?

Nan(smiles): nahi.. waha me almost roz jaati hu..bacho k saath waqt guzarti hu..kabhi khaana pakaati hu..aur phir arohi b to hai waha..uske nakhre b to uthaane padte hai.

Nav: Arohi se yaad aaya..wo Nandu..usne tumhe ma.....

Nandini stops the car..stopping Navya's talk too. Navya looks around and gets amazed on seeing the locality.

Nav: hum yaha kyu aaye hai nandu?

Nan:  mera ghar aagaya.

Nav (shocked): tum yaha rehti ho?

Nan (smiling sheepishly): haan. Chale?

Navya just nods n follows her. With every step..she just keeps widening her eyes..she looks around only to b amazed and surprised again n again. When they reach Nandini's house..
Navya just puts her palms on her mouth in shock.

Nan(self talk): expected reaction. Pata nahi jab mujhe dekhegi..to kaise react karegi. Aiyappa....

Nandini clears her throat to grab her attention..but no use..navya was in deep shock. Nandini shakes navya yet she doesnt come out of her shock. Nandini then yells in her ear..

Nan: Navyaaaa

Nav: haan?

Nan: kaha kho gayi ho? Andar nahi aana?

Nav: Nandu..hume lagta hai tum kisi galat ghar me aagai ho.. chalo jaldi yaha se nikalte hai..agar is ghar k malik ne hume dekh liya na to bohot daant pitegi. Chalo chalo.

Saying so she holds Nandini's hand and was about drag her out with her when Nandini hisses in pain..as unknowingly Navya holds her wounded hand.

Nav: sorry sorry nandu..humne dekha hee nahi..bohot dard horaha hai na? Ruko..hum yaha k maalik se marham patti maangte hai.

Nan: first aid box waha us drawer me rakha hai.

Nav: haan theek hai tum yehi ruko hum laate hai.

She turns around to walk n suddenly realises something.

Nav: tumhe kaise pata k konsi cheez kaha hai?

Nan: mere ghar me agar mujhe hee nahi pata hoga to kise pata hoga?

Nav: tum..tumhara matlab hai ki..(swallowing a lump).. ye..ye tumhara ghar hai?

Nan: haan.

Navya looks around in shock n again asks..

Ye tumhara ghar hai?

Nan: Navya..ye mera hee ghar hai. Acha ye sab chodo..bhook nahi lagi tumhe? Kuch khaaogi?

Navya just nods.

Nandini takes her to the kitchen..while all the while navya was just gawking at the house. Nandini makes her sit on a chair n takes out pasta from the fridge.

Nan: sorry navya..ye pasta subah ka hai..khaaogi?

Navya again just nods. Nandini giggles on seeing Navya's condition.
She heats the pasta in the microwave and then serving in 2 plates..she sits infront of Navya. Navya was still in her gaze. Nandini nudges her n gestures her towards the plate. Navya gives her a nervous smile n starts eating with her shivering hands. Nandini observes this n keeps a hand on her hand..

Nan: Navya..tumhe ghabraane ki zarurat nahi hai. Yaha sirf me rehti hu..lekin me ye nahi chahti k tum apna behavior meri taraf badlo.tum jaisi thi waisi hee raho..plzz.

Nav: sorry nandu..wo hum na chakkar khaa gaye tumhara ghar dekh ke. Hum to ye soch rahe hai..k agar fab5 ko pata chalega..to unki haalat to dekhne laayak hogi. Unke moo pe to ye bade bade taale lag jaayenge.

Nandini gets serious again on hearing fab5's name..she recalls Manik's slap..his harsh words..all that they have done till now. Navya notices this.

Nav: tum kabhi nahi chahti na k kisi ko pata chale?

Nandini looks at her in surprise..

Nav: kya? Aise kya dekh rhi ho?ab agar hum hee apne dost ko na samjhe..to phir koun samjhega..nukkad waale kaka ji??

Nandini laughs at Navya's statement.

Nav: tumne hume yaha isliye laaya na kyunki tumhe humpe bharosa hai?

Nandini nods her head.

Nav: dekhna Nandu..hum tumhara bharosa kabhi nahi todenge..Matarani ki kasam. (Pinching her throat)

Nan: jaanti hu Navya. Ab khaana khaale?

With this both continue with their food.
