Nan: apologize? For what? For playing with a girl's dignity?

Dhr: Nandini plz...just hear them out..for once.

Nandini and Navya look at each other n keep quite. Taking this as a yes..Mukti says..

Muk: u know Nandini.. Bachpan se..wherever we went..we were given royal treatments..coz of our big surnames. We never had to struggle for anything in our lives. Jo chaaha..wo maangne se pehle hume mila. Jis b cheez pe haath rakhte the..wo hamari hojaati thi. We never bothered that ye kaise aaya ya ye kaha se aaya. As long as we were getting our wishes fulfilled..we never bothered about anything. Phir dheere dheere we got used to it. Before reaching out somewhere..our surnames used to get our work done. There was no one to stop us..or say..no one could stop us..however u take it. we started with simple pranks..but when no one pointed us..we just kept going on. And then..all of a sudden u came into our lives. U were the first one who pointed at us..who had the guts to stand against us..who played our pranks on us. To be honest Nandini..deep down we knew that u were right..but this ego..no one had ever told us that we r wrong..n when u did..we just couldnt take it. N just to get back at u..just to prove that we were and will always b right..we played all types of pranks with u. We know that we crossed our limit..but again..we never knew what our limit actually was. That day..if u hadnt played that trick on us..mayb today we would have apologized to u..but would have never realized how wrong we were..how our one prank could have harmed someone. Nandini..we r really sorry for whatever happened.

Al: and Navya..we r sorry to u too. We nevere intended to hurt u..but u got affected with our prank. Plz forgive us.

Navni were still quite..looking at Muklya sometimes and sometimes at each other. Cabir proceeds towards Nandini's bed and kneels down on the left side..

Cab: yaad hai Nandini..tht day when i came up to u in the canteen to apologize?

Nandini nods

Cab: tht time i was thinking of all the possible ways to seek ur apology. Cards..chocolates..soft toys..from anything to everything.. but then..when u accepted my apology with just one sorry..i understood..that these materialistic things wont help in getting ur apology..but only genuineness would do. U felt i was genuine while apologizing..n thats y u simply accepted my sorry. Today..even they r genuinely sorry..wont u accept their apology?

Nav: their???

Al: actually navya..it was only me and Mukti who had planned all this..fab5 ddnt knw abt it..we ddnt get the chance to inform them..n we too wanted to cancel out the plan..especially after that beautiful day that we spent here coz of Nandini..but everything got messed up.

Muk: u knw Nandini..that day..when u made us fulfill these kids' wishes..it was for the first time that we were on the other end of the line..otherwise it was always us whose wishes were fulfilled..but because of u..we got a chance to feel the happiness of fulfilling someone's wish.

Nandini was stunned to knw that it wasnt fab5 but only muklya who had planned tht. She looks at Manik n finds him already looking at her..with some strange feelings in his eyes. Not able to understand..she lowers her gaze only to find Manik's right hand bandaged. She scrutinizes her eyes..n then again looks into his eyes..n finds him staring at her bandaged hand.
Their trance was broken by Navya.

Nav: hum aapko ek shart pe maaf karenge.

Al: kaisi shart?

Nav: agar Nandini aapko maaf karegi to.

Cab: Nandini..

Nan: i guess choti maa wont fancy if u guys leave without having lunch..so i suggest u guys stay back.

Dhr: does that mean..we r forgiven?

Cab: does that mean u will continue ur tuitions?

Nandini smiles slightly n just nods.

Muklya: realllyyy??

They go n hug Nandini

Muklya: thank u thank u thank u Nandini...huuf...we feel so light now.

Nandini was taken aback by their hug..slowly she too hugs them back..

Nan: its ok.

Al: so friends?

Nan: sorry Ms. Saxena..but i dnt make friends.

Cab: matlab tumne hume abhi b maaf nahi kiya.

Nan: aisa nahi hai Mr. Dhawan..but i dnt make friends.

Muk: but Navya to tumhari dost hai na.

Nav: arree..humne to humesha ye kaha k Nandini hamari dost hai..ye thodi kaha k hum Nandini k dost hai.

Al: matlab? Both r the same thing ryt?

Nav: nahi Aliya. Fark hai. Humne Nandini ko apna dost maana..aur usne har kadam pe hamari dosti ko aur hamare bharose ko banaay rakha. Jab bhi hume uski zarurat padhti..wo hamesha hamare paas hoti hai. Lekin Nandini ko jab kisi ki zarurat padhe..tab wo kisi ko awaaz nahi deti. Ek advice de..aap log b Nandini ko apna dost maan lijiye..dekhna..kaise har pareshaani se wo aapko dooor kerdegi. Wo to ek pari hai..kuch b karsakti hai.

Cab: ye tumne sahi kaha.Nandini angel hee hai.
So Nandini moorthy..kya tum hamari b dost banogi..jaise Navya ji ki ho?
(Forwarding his hand)

Nan: sorry.

Cab: ab kyu???

Nandini then raises her right hand to show the bandages.

Cab: arre..to isme kya huwa..
(He takes her left hand in his)
Ab huwi na dosti...

Dhr: seriously nandini.. we r sorry.

Nan: Mr. Vedant..aage badne ka pehla usool hota hai to stop looking back. Jo past me hai use past me rehne do..sirf usse seekhe huwe lessons ko leke aage badho. So no worries.

Nav: hum choti maa ki help kerke aate hai.

Cabir looks at Manik n thinks of giving them some privacy. He stands up n says: chalo bhai log..hum b bacho se mil lete hai..what say?

Dhr: yes lets go.

Muklya, dhruv and cabir leave from there..cabir being the last one. When he reaches next to Manik..he whispers into his ears:

Manik..sabne sorry boldiya..tu b bolde..tere liye mene maidaan b khaali kerdiya. Dnt let ur Angel go now.

Nandini sees everyone has left except Manik. She gets a bit conscious and stands from the bed. She too was about to leave when Manik comes in front of her.

Man: Nandini

There was some strong feeling in the way he had taken her name..saying it with a sigh of relief.

Nan: hmmm

Man: Nandini..wo...i... wo actually. .

Nan: its ok Mr. Malhotra.. u dnt need to say anything..fab 5 has already said wht they wanted to.

Man: but i...

Nan: jab kisi ek ki galti pe me poore fab5 pe ungli uthaa sakti hu..to kisi ek k sorry pe sabko maaf b ker sakti hu.

Saying so..she turns to leave when Manik holds her left hand. Tht freezes Nandini on her spot. She feels some strange tingling sensation running down her spine. She slowly turns around to look into Manik's eyes.

Man (pointing at her hand): tu..tumhara haath kaisa hai?

Nandini gets surprised on hearing that.

Nan: waisa hee jaisa aapka haath hai.

Man: koun tha wo Nandini?

Nan (confused): koun koun?

Man (getting angry): wahi jisne apne aadmi bheje the. Koun tha wo?

Nan: why do u want to knw?

Man: coz i need to teach him a lesson.

Nan: lesson? For what?

Man: for messing up with u.

Nan: n y wud that matter to u if he messes up with me? Mr. Malhotra..its my problem..n i knw how to deal with it. U dnt hv to bother.

Man (getting angrier): i have to.. its coz of him tht u r in pain.

Nan: so what if i m in pain? Pain me to aap b hai na. Chot aapko b lagi hai.

Manik pulls Nandini with such a jerk that she hits his chest.

Man: i dnt care. But no one is supposed to give u any pain..no one..not even me. (Getting soft at the end)

Nandini gets stunned on seeing this. She doesnt understand what was happening. All she knew was that whenever Manik comes closer to her..she loses all her senses of differentiation...she doesnt knw what's right or whats wrong.

Manik slowly caresses her cheek where he had slapped her.

Man: even i m not allowed to hurt u..but see..i did.

Nandini n Manik both were lost in each other's eyes..in each other's hold..

Aro: mummaaa..tidhal ho?

Arohi comes in asking for her mumma..which breaks their stance and they separate from each other..looking everywhere but at each other.

Ar(seeing Manik): flnnndddddd...

N rushes to him.

Manik carries her in his arms.

Man: hey arohi..kaisi ho?

Ar: me theet hu..aap?

Man: me bhi bilkul theek hu.

Ar: aap aul mumma tya tal lahe the?

Manik n Nandini look at each other..not knowing what to answer.

Nan: ruhi..aapne mumma k liye donuts banaaya?

Ar: alee..mummaa wo tal flnd aul mene donut banaaya na to shaala totalate thatam hodaya..ab tya tale?

Nan: acha?? To chalo..mumma aur Ruhi chocolate laane jaate hai.

Nandini goes to take her from Manik's arms when Arohi says:

Ar: flnd meto neete utaalo.

Nan: but ruhi..aap to hamesha meri godhi me chalti ho na.

Ar: haan..letin aaj aapto aah hai na. To me aaj woting (walking) talundi.

Nandini gets moist on seeing how much this pure soul loves her. Manik too gets astonished on seeing their bond.

Nan: itna pyaar kerti ho mujhse?

Ar: haan..

Nandini just hugs her tyt n kisses all over her face

Nan: me bhi aapse bohot pyaar kerti hu. Jaan ho aap meri.
Chalo chalte hai.

Cabir sees them leaving..he goes to Manik.

Cab: Kaha khoya hai Manik?

Man: haan? Nahi..kahi nahi

Cab: waise kitne ache lagte hai na ye dono..i mean aisa lagta hai Arohi Nandini ki copy hai..nai?

Manik again gets irritated on realising that Arohi is Nandini's daughter. Seeing him getting irritated..

Cab: kya huwa? Acha nahi laga sunke k Arohi Nandini ki beti hai?

Man: ye tu baar baar kyu bol raha hai Arohi nandini ki beti hai..arohi Nandini ki beti hai..

Cab: kyunki tu ye nahi maan raha k tujhe is baat se chid horahi hai k Arohi Nandini ki beti hai.

Man: aisa kuch nahi hai samjha. Aur mujhe kya farak padhega.

Cab: pakka?

Man: tujhe kya hogaya hai? Kyu baar baar puch rha hai?

Cab: arre nahi..wo mene socha agar tujhe sach me farak nahi padhta to ek baat share kerni thi.

Man: kya baat?

Cab: dekh..aaj jo kuch b humne yaha dekha..aur jo wo aadmi phone pe baat ker raha tha..usse saaf pata chal rha tha k Nandini b use jaanti hai. To me kya soch raha tha k kahi ye..arohi ka baap to....

Man: just shut up Cabir. Aisa nahi hosakta.

Cab: kyu nahi hosakta? Tune suna nahi usne kya kaha..Nandini..tumse door raha b to nahi jaata.

Man(getting very angry): Cabirrrrr.. bola na aisa nahi hosakta.

Cab: lekin kyu Manik?

Man: kyunki Nandini kisi aur ki nahi hosakti..

Cab: kisi aur ki nahi hosakti? To phir kiski hosakti hai? Aur kyu nahi hosakti? Ab Arohi b to hai..wo kaise aayi phir?

Man: just stop ur nonsense Cabir.

Saying so..Manik leaves from there in full monster mood.

Cab: wah Manik..ye to saaf hai tere chehre se pata chal raha hai k tujhe ye baat pasand nahi aai. Me ye to nahi jaanta k wo aadmi koun tha..lekin haan..uske waje se tujhe tere dil ka haal to samaj aane lag gaya hai.

Here Manik comes out in open to feel fresh air. He was getting pissed on Cabir for saying all those things.
N more than that..he was getting pissed on himself for not being able to understand whats in his mind n heart.
All he knew is that he cant stand the thought of someone coming in that sense in Nandini's life. No one is ever allowed to hurt her..not even him. His thoughts were stopped by dhruv's voice.. who was calling him for lunch.

All gather in the dining area except Nandini n arohi.. choti maa serves all n sits herself with them.

Nav: choti maa..bura na maane to ek sawal puche?

C.m: poocho beta

Nav: ye koun log the..jinhu ne aashram ki aisi haalat kerdi?

This question raises everyone's ears..n now everyone were eagerly waiting for her answer.

C.m: chodo na Navya. Zaruri nahi hai.

Muk: bataayiye na Aunty.

C.m: beta ye sab baate zaruri nahi hai..rehne do na.

Not able to tk it anymore..manik says..

Man: aunty plz..tell us..hosakta hai hum kuch madad kerde. Hum b is orphanage k liye kuch kerna chahta hai.
