Al: yea...n today she wont b able to play our prank on us..i hope so mukti..

Muk: dnt wry Aliya..even if she plays it on us..i knw how to deal with it (winks and shows her something in the freezer)

Al: ice creams! !

Muk: yesss...so this time Nandini Moorthy..we r well prepared!!

Man: guys...our Tutor has come..everyone ready??!!

Fab4: readyyyyy

Man: cabir..u ll go first..

Cab..yes sirrrr

Here Nandini enters the study n finds fab 5 seriously involved in books... wait what!!?? Involved in BOOKS??? Now thts something new..tht means some new deep prank!!!!

Nan: hello everyone

Cab: oh hello mam..hru? Plz come..we have been waiting for u..plz sit mam

Nan (looking shocked-self talk): ise kya hogaya? Aiyappa aaj zarur kuch meethi churi se waar karenge..

Muk: yes mam..plz sit

Nan: whats wrong wd u guys?

Al: nothing is wrong mam..its just tht we have realised tht u r here for our benefit and not for urs..

Dhr: n thts y we have decided to end this challenge thing n get serious abt our studies. So we r just compensating for our yesterday 's mischief

Nan: oh..kay..now thats hard to digest

Cab: u dnt believe us? Ok fine..we r ready to do as u say so tht u believe us.
Fab 4 turn towards him in shock

He winks at them...
Cab: ok fine..Manik..u tell Mam that we r really over this challenge and we want to b serious.

Manik glares at Cabir n cabir pleads him with eyes..

Man: ehemm..ah..yea...he is ... i mean they r... ehemmm... right.. (looking here n there)

Nan: mr. Malhotra when u r not good at it, then dont try it

Man: good at what?

Nan: at lying!

Man(gets shocked n stunned): y wud i lie? Ok fine u dnt believe ryt..ok so..today we will listen to ur lecture without making any noise..n thats a Fab 5 promise...

Fab 5 giggle within themselves

Muk: only if she will b able to give the lecture!!!

Nan (still in shock): oh..kay...
Ok then..lets start..

Cab: ah..actually now since we have decided to make a new start..y not with something refreshing..
Here (placing 5 glasses of shots containing a green juice in it)

Nan (scrunching her nose): whts this??

Cab: dnt wry mam..this is Cucumber mint juice..totally refreshing. .plzzz hv it..

Nan: firstly there is no need to call me mam..
Secondly this is really not needed. .

Al (sadly): this means u r still mad at us?

Nan: no m not

Man: then prove it....
By having all these shot glasses in 1 go.

Muk : yes Nandini ..see we have specially arranged them in shot glasses so tht u dnt get a chance to refuse any glass..see they r so small. .one gulp n they r down..plzzz

Nan: ok then..we all will have it..

Cab (smirking-self talk): i knew it ye Einstein aisa hee kuch bolegi..lekin not this tym Miss topper...coz of u navya turned my friendship down..chota badla to banta hai bosss..hu ha ha

Ehem..of course Nandini..n drinks a glass..which was at the corner...
Fab 4 look at him in horror..but he smiles..n winks at them 😉

Seeing Cabir drinking the drink..Nandini couldnt refuse..so she takes a glass but Mukti snatched away from her..
Muk: not like this dear...i will make u drink..in fact..fab5 will make u drink. .
Saying so Aliya and dhruv too take a glass in their hand. Now there remains only 1 glass as Cabir drank 1..

Cab: arre only 1 glass is left. Not an issue..i will make u drink it..Manik can try his luck nxt time.

With this..Mukti gives the first glass of shot to Nandini..n without giving her a chance to taste or to accept or refuse or to act upon it, aliya gives her the second, followed by Dhruv n Cabir.

As soon as the 4 glasses get over, nandini shuts her eyes n mouths with full force...n bits her lips to stop from shouting...

N here fab5 break into laughter...seeing Nandini going all red like tomato ..
Nandini breathes in n out thru her mouth to control her burning sensation. . She looks around n finds a glass of water..she runs n without a second thought gulps it down in one big sip.. n y wont she. .having 4 shots of PURE HOT GREEN CHILLI juice isnt a cakewalk. . But it seems today fab 5 were ready for every anticipated action of Nandini..
As soon as Nandini gulped the water down..she immediately started coughing..n then on smelling it she came to knw tht it was VINEGAR kept in the glass.
And fab5 were going hysterical on seeing Nandini's condition.

Calming herself down by all her strength, she took a deep breath and turned towards fab 5.

Nan: so if ur play is over..can we now focus on our studies? And i really hope that fab5 Promise does mean something imp to u guys n tht u wont break it?!!

Fab 5 were stunned shocked n what not...inspite of having burning sensation. .here stands Nandini Moorthy like always ready to give them notes.......

But fab5 never backed out from their promise..so as per their promise..
They sat down quietly n started taking notes.

Nan: ok so today i would give u an introduction to all the subjects we will b taking in this sem..lets start with Business law..
N she continues giving them notes..in a much simplified n an easier way..n surprisingly, fab5 were enjoying in taking the notes. It is truly said ..ur Teacher is the face of ur subject. Nandini simplified the subject in such a manner that it looked appealing even to FAB5.
In between all this..Manik takes a quick glance at Nandini..n finds her holding her stomach n squeezing it tightly..struggling n wincing in pain..yet not going astray from her lecture..this builds a sense of guilt in Manik..everytime Nandini squeezes her stomach or closes her eyes n mouth to control the pain, it feels as if someone is pricking Manik's heart and he could feel the pain tht Nandini is trying to control.
Not able to take it anymore..he stands up n says:
Its 6 .30 now. M hungry n i need a break. Ramu kaka..(shouts for him).. go n get ice cream for everyone..

Ramu kaka enters with 6 cups of ice cream. .everyone takes one n enjoy their much needed short break..

There Nandini is trying her best to hold on n control the pain but its going out of control...
She feels nauseated n leaves from there without getting noticed.
But Manik had his eyes fixed on nandini..he had asked for ice cream to reduce Nandini's pain..but seeing her running away..he goes behind her n finds her rushing towards washroom.

Inside washròom..Nandini pukes out all tht she had taken before few hours..her lunch..that green chilli juice n tht vinegar on top..she was feeling hot burning sensation right from her throat till the middle of her stomach..which was churning up every bit of her...she felt drained out..yet she was adamant to complete her class n not lose to fab5, specially now, when both Mr.&Mrs. Malhotra have requested her not to give up.

After splashing water on her face for few times..she decides to go out. As she steps out she finds Manik standing there leaning on the wall with an ice cream cup in his hand. Manik sees Nandini n again those unrecognised feelings find their way in his heart on finding Nandini pale n drained out..he walks slowly towards her n forwards the cup towards her.

Nandini looks at him n then at the cup. .n raises her eyebrow as if asking what!!??

Man: wo.. ye..tumhara hai.. so yes..have it

Nan: no thanx..m gud wdout it

Man: listen..just for once can u listen to me..there is no prank in this...u... u can have it..n if u dnt believe  then..here... (takes a spoon of ice cream from the cup)..
See..nothing happened..now u can have it..

Nandini eyes the cup n then the spoon

Man: ohh yea..how will u eat from my spoon..!! Ok so i will just ask....

N nandini doesnt wait till he completes his line..she takes the cup from his hand n starts eating with her fingers...

taking every bite slowly while closing her eyes so that it cools down the burning sensation going inside her.. she then leans on the wall n sits down on the floor n continues eating her ice cream..unaware of the constant gaze of Manik on her.

Manik was losing himself in the innocence of Nandini. .her every move..her every expression was expressing only n only innocence. .he for a moment felt that it was someone else in front of him..for the first time he saw a very different avatar of Nandini. .not bold..not arrogant..not smart..not witty..not always ready with back answers...but only an INNOCENT Nandini..

His glance was broken by Nandini

Nan: thank u

Saying so she left from there towards the study.
Manik after composing himself..goes to the study..

Nan: so our second day comes to an end..n i hv still managed to stick around with u guys.. n now..my turn of challenge

Al (to fab5): oh no guys...what if she asks us to do the same..to eat chillies or drink vinegar..we toh dont even hv ice cream now????

Nan: relax aliya..dont jump over conclusions before listening to whole thing. So..i hv decided tht..

TOMORROW FAB 5 WILL LISTEN TO MY 2 CONDITIONS AS MY TODAY'S WINNING AWARD !!
