Boboiboy's POV.

I am walking down the hall way, bringing all the books there is from the library. I am researching more about elements to understand better of my powers i have.

I have not been the person who likes reading. But for this, i am very interested.

It's be years of experience with my powers but i haven't dabbled with my powers much. Learning it more. And understanding it.

Kaizo once told me on a mission.

"You need to open yourself to more 'things' to understand how your power works." His voice rings one my head.

I arrive at my personal room in my college apartment i rented and drop all the heavy books on the table. It made a thud sound.

Oh shit- was that loud? Its 2 AM here. My roommate is sleeping. Guess who is that? Yeah it's Fang. Our apartment is two bed rooms apartment and its super spacious and cheap!

I smell something familliar but I can't quite place it. Hm. But whatever it is the smell makes me so calm.

I checked outside my room and there's no reaction from Fang and i came back in.

Phew. Relieved i didnt wake up Fang. I left the door open to listen if i woke Fang up. I turn around to my table.

Then i sat on my table and start opening the books. And all i see is scientific things regarding elements of the world.

"You're up pretty late." I heard a voice as i jump and turn around to look at the door.

And i see a tall muscular man with a black designer Tank top tight on his body with glasses, leaning to the wall of the door and holding on to a lighted cigar and a ashtray.

"Captain! I didn't know you are around on earth!" I turn around my chair to face Kaizo.

"I was doing my report and i heard a big thud coming from your room." He looks calm and collected as usual. Nothing breaks this man's mind.

"I am doing some research. For some assignments." I wont admit to Kaizo that i am actually trying to figure out what he said to me. The reason i am doing this research. I dont want to be seen like i am stupid. "I am sorry for disturbing your work Captain."

"Drop the Captain, Boboiboy." Said the man shortly then he took a puff of his cigar and let the smoke out of his mouth. "Kaizo for you to call me when i am at my casual wear."

I was shock he would let me call him just by his name. Even his brother calls him Captain.

"Okay, Kaizo." I try to be as respectful.

Kaizo nods and turns around and all i see last of him is his butt hair.

He is so stern and strict. Even talking casually he would be so quiet and collected. It's so attractive to any woman's eyes. That calmness and with that looks. How would not any woman like that? That's why Fang hates walking around campus with Kaizo around. Girls will start asking Fang for Kaizo's socials to get to know Kaizo. Fang hated he wasn't as popular as Kaizo. Which makes me laugh so hard.

Then i took a big smell of the cigar that Kaizo let out in my room. The smell is so calming. I smiled.

Oh that was the smell i smelled just now when i arrived to the apartment.

I turn around and continue my research. Took out all my note books and pens to take note.

After half an hour, I skimmed through 3 books. Earth, Wind, and Fire. I realise i have already understood most of this just by experience alone. I don't think this is much necessary. I did my research online also, that these are the best books the world can offer. All this amazing scientists who made the book and published it for the world to understand earth better.

But what is the 'things' that Kaizo mentions ? Its so coincidental that he is here in the house while i did this research. Haha Funny. Because i am so curious what is he talking about when he mentions 'things'.

Nah! Maybe this other books i have on the table that I haven't touch maybe it has the answer!

Half an hour later..

That's it. I give up. All i have read, i know everything. I look at my power watch. What is it that is limiting me from getting better at combat?

Recently the fights we had against all this enemies and aliens that came to fight us. I've been falling back a bit. Fang been getting so much better. While my performance has been the same.

Maybe is the burning fire in me seeing Fang, my best friend and my rival for life getting better firing me up to get better.

I don't wanna fall back!

But how?

I stood up and started pacing back and forth in my room. Then i smell the cigar again.

"Kaizo?" He is still awake? Should i ask him?

I slowly go out of my room and started searching for the man around the house. As i walk passed the living room i saw the balcony, Kaizo is there with his Computering device scrolling through documents.

I slowly come to him to see whether i am disturbing him or not.

"Yes Boboiboy." Said shortly the man infront of me and i jump out of scare. While he still skim through his files with his cigar in between his fingers. Doesn't even bother to look.

"O-oh!" I got nervous to talk to him. Then i wanted to cancel wanting to ask him anything looking at how busy he is. "N-never mind Capta— Kaizo you seem still busy with your report. I will ask you tomorrow when you are awake and i am awake."

I turn around and started walking to my room nervously.

Why am i nervous to talk to him.

"Stop." I heard Kaizo said that my whole body stop.

I turn around and look at him turning off his device. He looks at me while bringing up his cigar.

"What's wrong?" Simple question from Kaizo.

i hate how this man is making me so nervous.

"N-nothing! Please! I didn't mean to disturb you Kaizo. I will go do my thing now!" I run into my room and as i wanna close the door he holds the door from closing fully. I was shock and i look up to see him pushing the door using the hand he has his Cigar on.

"What's wrong?" He asked again while he gets in my room.

This time I froze. I couldn't speak. I couldn't move. I couldn't do anything. This is my first time getting Kaizo getting this pushy.

Then i saw his eyebrow showing he is getting upset.

"A-ah! Okay! So when last we talked you said something to me about me needing to try new 'things' to understand my powers. So I've been looking for answers but i couldnt!" I replied very fast and as i end my words i showed the books on my table to indicate i have been doing my research.

"Ah." Thats all that Kaizo brought out his mouth.

I got scared as I received that short answer. He gonna think i am so dumb! He is gonna totally ignore me after this!

"Do you understand the context behind what i said?" Kaizo brought in his ashtray and put it on the table side of my bed. And he sits on my super single sized bed.

"Context? That i am weak. And i need to improve more." I answered shortly and without any confidence.

He looks at me and blow a smoke on my face. I close my eyes.

"Are you that dense Boboiboy?" Kaizo said that with no emotion hang his hand on the ash tray so the ash doesnt go on my bed.

"Ah!" I got pissed as i heard that. "I-i am not dense!"

He brought up his eyebrows and gave me a smirk.

"Really? So you are saying you understood everything i said?" Kaizo teasingly said that.

Oh no he isn't telling me i am dumb or weak or anything bad.

I look to the side and gave him an attitude.

"Yes! Forget i said anything that I didn't understand!" I look to the side and cross my arms together. I try to avoid his eyes so he wont see i am lying. "I have experience everything to know all my powers and understand all of them. You can test me all you want i bet you i am gonna pass it with flying colours"

"Everything?" Kaizo ask shortly.

No! He doesn't know anything about me. He can't just act like he can judge me the way he dictates his brother's life. I am not his brother.

"Yes!" I proudly show off to him and still not dare look at him.

"Then if i test you with something will you be able to handle it?" Kaizo asked me even more questions.

"Of course! You talking to Boboiboy!" I am proud of my name i have made of myself here showing how i am a great hero! I smirk. "I can handle everything!"

I honestly feel i have went through alot for me to go on battle with Kaizo!

Then i heard him putting out the fire of his cigar to still make use of the rest of it. Then he swipe his hand. And he stands up.

I was shock that he stood up and not say anything. I slowly look at him. And i saw him slowly approaching me.

My heart is beating so hard as he approaches me and i step back bit by bit as he comes close to me.

Then he reach out his hand. I was shock but ready to fight it.

I was readying my watch so i can change to any Boboiboy.

Then i saw the hand passed by me to my back and i heard a click. And i turn myself to where his hand is he locked the door behind me. I was shock.

"W-what's that for?" I nervously asked. As i realise me and Kaizo's distance is just a few finger away and Kaizo literally looking down at me with a weird look. I was too stunned to say anything or move.

"To make sure you wont wake up my little brother." He takes himself away from me and turn to my side table.

"W-wait.. if we do the test here in my room wont it be a mess?" I asked that as stern as i could trying not to show how nervous and how my heart is beating so hard.

"Well, i hope it wont be that 'messy', Mr I-have-experienced-everything." He takes off his glasses and put it on my side table.

"W-what do you mean by that!" He is really offending me right now. Which pisses me off bit by bit.

Kaizo looks at me.

He combine both of my hands together as he uses his right hand to hold both of my hand together on top of my bed pinning me down so i cant move. Then he took two bangles looking device with his left hand. Putting both on my wrist. I was confused what was this for.

As soon as he let go of my hands that he pinned down i took the chance to fight him by giving a punch.

Then both of my wrists connected to each other tying my hand together while the bangles light up and it started getting head like how Kaizo pinned me down. I was shock and i look to Kaizo. I'm getting handcuffed!

"What's the meaning of this Kaizo!" I scream in shock then I remembered he got mad if i woke Fang up.

"You said you can do anything didn't you?" Kaizo smirk as he pushed back his posture to be on his knees and it seems he is enjoying the view.

Then i blushed really hard as he said that while i wanted to scream but biting my tongue so i wont scream.

"T-this isn't what i mean!" I scream whispered that and i tried my best not to put my voice higher.

"You said i can test you all i want?" Kaizo teasingly said that and i felt my head getting hotter.
