We'll Always Be Together: Part 2

//Here is Part 2 of the Imagine, We Will Always Be Together//

Laying on the ground, was an entire Dragon's skeleton. They had made it to the Dragon Graveyard.

"This is it. We made it." [Y/N] said. Suddenly, Astrid and Alagard didn't feel so excited about being here. These skeletons were just like them. Same bone structure and everything. However, their Humans seemed more than excited about this. They looked over the edge of the ledge they were on. The large skull of what looked to be a male dragon lay nearby. The male Dragons were always a bit larger in size than the female Dragons. The two looked over at the land before them. "Whoa!" The two said in aw. The two dragons hid behind their Humans' backs, Alagard tucking his tale around Freddie's fur covered leg while Astrid rested her neck against [Y/N]'s.

'It's really creepy.' Astrid said, slight fear in her young voice. [Y/N] smiled down at her Dragon.

"Yeah... Isn't it great?" [Y/N] asked. Freddie leaned over to his best friend, smirking and relishing how good it felt in the moment to do something against the rules.

"We could get in big trouble." Freddie said. [Y/N] smiled and chuckled.

"I know, huh." She said. The two, along with their dragons, slinking behind in slight fear.

"I wonder if its brains are still in there." Freddie said, looking at the skull of the Dragon. [Y/N] smirked, looking at her best friend.

"There's only one way to know." She said, walking towards the skull. "Come on. Let's go check it out." She said. Suddenly, Ashanti flapped her wings, appearing in front of the two kids and the Dragons, startling them. Oh, it was failed to mention that Ashanti is a miniature dragon, about the size of Astrid and Alagard.

'Wrong!' She shouted. Ashanti was a Dragon who had no human. Her human was killed by some Rogue Dragons. Instead of going insane and becoming a Rogue Dragon herself, she chose to become the adviser for the very Dragon and Rider who saved her life. 'The only checking out you will do will be to check out of here.' Ashanti urged. This place was no where near safe for the children and their Dragons. Frankly, she didn't even know how they had heard of this place. She thought that Ben and Draco had warned their children not to come near here. [Y/N] frowned. Now their fun was spoiled, again.

"Aw, man." She moaned out in disappointment.

'We're way beyond the boundary of the Village!' Ashanti exclaimed fearfully. [Y/N] smirked and chuckled lightly.

"Huh. Look. Tiny Wings is scared. Heh." She teased. She was then poked in the nose by Ashanti's tale, as she was floating in the air.

'That's Miss. Tiny Wings to you, fleshy. And right now we are all in very real danger.' She urged. While Ashanti wasn't any where near as powerful as she used to be when she had her Human with her, she could still try and convince the children and their Dragons to get away from this accursed place. Astrid nodded, backing away slightly.

'[Y/N], I-I have to agree with Ashanti. This place doesn't seem safe at all. Plus, Ben and Father warned us to never come here.' Astrid said, trying to talk her Human out of delving further into the graveyard. [Y/N] just scoffed. She moved closer to the dragon skull.

"Danger? Hah! I walk on the wild side." She boasted. Freddie suddenly felt the same as Astrid and Apalala, frightened. He knew they shouldn't be here. Heck, before today, he didn't even know this place existed. "I laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha!" [Y/N] laughed out. Following her confident laughter, more laughing was heard from inside the skull. However, this laughing was more sinister. Startled, [Y/N] ran back and hid behind Astrid, Freddie, Alagard and Ashanti standing in front. Three small looking dragons emerged from the skull's eyes and mouth. They were the colors of dark brown and lime green. [Y/N] knew of these dragons. They were dragons who could adjust their sizes to their environment. They could be as big as the tallest building, or they could be as small as a field mouse.

'Well, well, well, Balerion. What have we got here?' The first Dragon asked. This Dragon was slightly taller than the others.

'Hmm. I don't know, Ghidorah. Uh... what do you think, Seath?' Balerion asked. Seath just let out crazy laughter. They began to circle around the children, Dragons and the advisor. The three Dragons closed their eyes and adjusted their size so that they were intimidating to the young ones. Astrid growled. These Dragons were Rogue Dragons. Meaning they would try and kill [Y/N] and Freddie to "free" Astrid and Alagard. Ben and [M/N] would be devastated if they lost their only child and Alisha would be just as devastated if she lost her son.

'Yeah, just what I was thinking. A trio of trespassers!' Balerion snapped. Ashanti chuckled nervously.

'And quite by accident, let me assure you. A simple navigational error. Eh heh heh.' Ashanti said, trying to sneak off, only to have Ghidorah's leg step in front of her, halting her movements.

'Whoa, whoa, wait wait wait... I know you.' She peered down at Ashanti. 'You're Benjamin's little stooge.' Ghidorah said. Ashanti frowned at being called that and stated proudly,

'I, madam, am the Ruler's majordomo.' She said. Balerion looked at [Y/N] and Astrid.

'And that would make you.."

"The future Dragon Rider and Rulers." [Y/N] said. Astrid stared at her Human in shock. She had just given away that they were important to the Village and to the current Dragon Rider. Now the Rogue Dragons had even more reason to kill [Y/N] and "free" Astrid from her captures.

'Do you know what we do to Rulers who step out of their villages?' Ghidorah asked. [Y/N] scoffed.

"Puh. You can't do anything to me or my Dragon." She said. Alagard looked at [Y/N] and nodded.

'Uhh... technically, they can. We are on their land. [Y/N], if you haven't realized, these guys are Rogue Dragons.' He said urgently. [Y/N] gasped. Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea after all. But her uncle had said that only the bravest Dragon Riders came to this place. She wanted to prove that she was brave. She could protect her friends and her dragon if need be, right?

'Bad idea! Bad idea!' I thought to myself. We had managed to loose Ashanti in running away from the Rogue Dragons. While they were currently in medium sizes so that they could fit into crevices better, they were still terrifying and they could grow in size to eat us if they wanted. We were currently running, the dragons on our heels. They chased us up and over the skull and we managed to slip away by sliding down the spine. We shot off the end of the spine and landed on a hillside of ice, snow and bones. Freddie and I got a rough landing. Astrid and Alagard, not so much. Their scales were designed to withstand the ice and cold winds that would normally hurt a human. I noticed that my grip was slipping. Since I had gloves on my hands to protect them from the cold, I didn't have the best grip.

"Freddie!" I shouted. He was managing to climb up better than I was able to. He had gloves that fit around his fingers, allowing for more grip. The three turned around. Freddie gasped. Before he could rush down to help me, Astrid flew bravely down and clawed Ghidorah across the cheek, drawing blood and distracting her while Astrid grabbed me around the waist and flew up. Freddie was sitting in Alagard's saddle, the small dragon waiting for his friends before he to flew off. The dragons pursued us quickly and cornered us in a cave. Astrid and Alagard folded their wings in and tried to run up the ice wall, only to fall to the floor, throwing Freddie and I out of our saddles and onto the cold floor. I gasped in pain and fear as the dragons, now grown in size, stalked closer to us. Freddie clung to Alagard. I bravely took out my sword and Astrid stood beside me. We stood protectively in front of our friends. I thrust my sword forward and Astrid tried to let out a roar, which came out as a squeak. The dragons laughed at us. It was then that I realized that my sword wasn't a real, Dragon Rider's sword. It was wooden, one that I used for practice with Freddie and my Father. The dragons stalked closer, making fun of my sword and Astrid's little squeak.

'Was that it? A wooden training sword and a little squeak? Show us what else ya got.' Ghidorah teased. Astrid took a deep breath and suddenly, a full grown dragon's roar came from her jaws and I let out a battle cry. The three dragons looked around in confusion. Then, suddenly out of no where, came Draco and my Father, Father brandishing his metal Dragon Rider's sword. They did not look happy. We quickly ran to get out of the way as Draco slashed at the dragons, enraged that they had tried to hurt his daughter. Soon, all three dragons were on their backs, cowering under the sheer size of Draco. They kept blubbering nonsense. Things like, 'Oh please, please.' and 'Ow!' Father's sword began to glow ice blue. When a Dragon combines their power with their Rider, their powers can either be used by the Rider themselves, or they can channel their powers into their swords to make their strikes more powerful.

"Silence!" Father shouted. The Dragons flinched, knowing that at any second, they could be obliterated by a very angry Dragon Rider.

'Oh, we're gonna shut up right now.' Balerion said. Ghidorah shook her head at the Dragon and Rider.

'Calm down! We're really sorry!' She said, doing nothing to change the mood of the situation. Draco glared down at the Rogue Dragons, who seemed to be all bark and no bite when it came to facing down the large Ice Dragon.

'If you ever come near my daughter or my Rider's daughter again.' Draco growled. Their eyes widened.

'Oh, t-these are your daughters?!' Ghidorah asked in shock. Clearly the three Dragons had not believed me when I told them that I was the next Dragon Rider and that Astrid and I were the next Rulers. Ghidorah looked at her friends. 'Did you know that?' She asked Balerion. Balerion shook his head.

'No, me? I-I didn't know it. No. Did you?' Balerion asked. Ghidorah shook her head.

'No! Of course not!' She shouted. Both friends now looked at their silent friend, Seath. 'Seath?' The two asked at the same time. Instead of denying knowledge that they had been chasing and trying to kill the Dragon's and his Rider's daughters, Seath just nodded his head in rapid up and down motions. Draco let out a loud roar, causing myself, my best friend and our Dragons to wince and cover our ears at the volume of the roar. The three Rogue Dragons flinched.

'Toddles.' Balerion muttered before the three of them took off flying, tales tucked between their legs. With the threat gone, Ashanti flew and landed before the large Dragon and his Rider. Father got off of Draco. Ashanti nodded her head at the two in praise, only to cower back when Father gave her an angry glare. Astrid and I trotted up to our fathers.

"Dad."

'Father.' We weren't able to get another word out as Draco glared down at us.

'You deliberately disobeyed me, Astrid.' Draco said in an angry tone. Astrid shrunk back. I looked at my father.

"Dad, we're sorry." I said, tears forming in my eyes. Father looked back at me.

"Let's go home." He demanded sternly. He got into Draco's saddle, myself and Freddie doing the same. Draco took off in a gust of wind. Astrid and Alagard followed suite. Freddie glanced at me.

"I thought you both were very brave." He whispered over the wind. I didn't say anything back. I new my father was very disappointed in me and Draco disappointed in Astrid. He had told her not to take me here, but I convinced her to. I had put all of us in danger.
