Raj
Last night was the most beautiful night of all and the morning too until it took a turn when Rudhran told me that he wanted to speak with me.
Okay stop it Raj, don't panic, he is your friend too. Think of something that makes you happy.
I turn on the shower, get under it and close my eyes, feeling the hot water sliding down my body. I was initially angry at Thooriga for tricking Taran and sending him to take me to her room. But once we three lied down to sleep, my heart was just floating, imagining a similar future with Thooriga.
(Kannukulle from Pennin Manathai Thottu... Until first verse)
When Taran asked us to recite a story, I didn't know why The Tale of Despereaux came to my mind but immediately I related Thooriga to the Princess Pea and myself to the Mouse Despereaux. As I proceeded with the story, Thooriga started understanding where I'm connecting the story.
Yes, I love her and dream of a future with her but my reality is more like that mouse. I can be her knight and protect her but can we have a future together?
Kannukullae unnai vaithen.. kannamma
Naan kangal mooda maatten adi Chellama..
Naan kangal mooda maattaen adi Chellama..
This question was there hidden and nagging somewhere in the corner of my mind. With Thiyagu mama and Parvathy Aththai's return, my fear just grew up. They do like me and treat me well but will they be ready to give the apple of their eyes to a person like me?
Adi neethaan yen santhosham
Poovellaam unn vaasam
Nee pesum pechellaam
Naan ketkum sangeetham
Unn punnagai naan semikindra selvamadi
Nee illai endraal naanum ingae ezhaiyadi
But my Thooriga, yet again proved her stubbornness has the power to achieve what she wishes. She chased my fears by expressing her wish of the story having a different ending like The Princess and The Frog. She didn't stop with that, she leaped over and kissed me before closing her eyes to sleep.
I kissed her and watched her as she fell asleep. Taran was hugging me in his sleep and Thooriga was hugging him. I threw my left hand on them and resting my head on my right arm, I caressed their hands alternatively until I fell asleep.
But the rain didn't let me sleep for long. I tensed that Thooriga could wake up with fear and disturb Taran. I readily placed my hand over her ear, though it may not completely silence the sound of thunder. I wished it would at least help her wake up without any fear.
Nedunkalamai pulangaamalae
Ennukullae nesam kidakindrathae
A loud thunder broke and to my surprise she slept peacefully, rubbing her face against my palm in her sleep.
Unnai parthathum uyir thoondavae
Uthadugal thaandi therikindrathae
I didn't take my hands but kept watching her until the rain and thunder stopped. She didn't move an inch and her body didn't shiver from the sound.
Tharisaana en nenjil vilunthaayae vithaiyaaga
Nee anbai paarkum parvaiyilae
She was scared of the fireworks on her first night in the mansion and just the day before yesterday, she got scared of the gun firing. Unlike her birthday, she wasn't wearing ear plugs to muffle the sounds.
I should discuss it with Thooriga once she wakes up or after the visit of the astrologer.
(Kannukullae unnai vaithen.. kannamma
Naan kangal mooda maatten adi Chellama...aaaa...
Naan kangal mooda maattaen adi Chellama..)
I finish my bathing and turn off the shower. I take a towel and wrap it around my waist as I walk out of the bathroom. Suddenly, my bedroom door opens and I clutch the towel tightly against my waist.
"Mama, Taran enga?" Thooriga enters and I relax. (Mama, where is Taran?)
"Rudhran vanthu kotitu poitan," I lock my eyes on her and tuck the outer layer of the towel into the inner layer. She steps in more stalking like a tigress hunting her prey and I step back. "Door thooranthu iruku," I pointed at my bedroom door. (Rudhran came to get him. You left the door open.)
"Suite door lock pani iruka, Ma-Ma," she stresses the word Mama and it affects me as it does for the last one week. (Suite door is locked.)
"Kulichitu vanthu iruken, josiyar sutham patham ellam paparu, neeyum poi kuli," My back hits against the wall. (I just now came from the shower. The astrologer will sense whether everyone is clean. You too go get a shower.)
🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

"Enna Mama nee," she places her index finger on my jaw, "kalyanama aana pudhu ponnu maathiri," she glides her finger down my throat, "vendamga, ipothan kulichenga nu solitu iruka?" Her fingers travel down my sternum, ridges of my abs and she palms my hardness over the towel. (Why are you talking like a newly married bride? No, I just now took a bath!!)
I throw my head back, goarn and she kisses my chest over my heart as she tugs on my towel. My towel drops open and I look down at her as she takes me in her hands, pumping me. I bite my lips before crushing my lips against her.
I starved us for a day to give her rest and after the emotional transpiring between us last night, I can't keep us apart physically anymore. I break the kiss and she bends to kneel in front of me but I hold her and walk her backwards until her legs hit against the bed.
Thooriga sits on the bed and I pull up her top, throw it on the floor, revealing her bra clad breasts. She doesn't wait for me but takes me into her mouth. I push her cups down and squeeze her breasts as she holds my hips and takes me deeper.
Unable to control myself anymore, I clutch her hair and pull her away from me. She looks up at me, her eyes filled with love and longing.
What have I ever done to see such eyes?
I have seen eyes with lust and horniess but it's only her eyes that have always seen me with love, admiration and desire. I push her against the bed and pull off her night pants to be gifted with the sight of her awaiting womanhood. She scoots back and lies down comfortably. I watch her as she bends her knees and opens her thighs inviting me.
I might have taken her, in her bedroom, bathroom, my office and the forest cabin but now at this moment, my girl is on my bed. Last time, when she was here, we didn't make love but today it's going to happen.
I'm going to make love to my girl, in my bedroom, on my bed.
I crawl on the bed and kiss her glistening little nether lips. She rewards me with a moan and I kiss on her belly. I pepper kiss her abdomen until I reach her peaks. I suck on the left one as she rocks her core against me.
"Missed you, Kitty," I suck on her other tip.
"I missed you, Mama and I can't wait to feel you inside me, please," she pleads without me asking her to do so and I don't delay anymore.
I hook my hands below her knees and throw her legs over my shoulders, I plunge into her. She arches her body and relaxes, looking into my eyes with a satiated feel. I lean down with her legs folded against her body and kiss her.
It feels like a wandering kid finally reaching its home.
I thrust into her and she equally thrusts back with love and passion. I lean up with her calves on either side of my shoulders and by hugging her legs, I drive deep and hard into her as she holds on the headboard and buries her face into the pillow.
"Look at me," I ordered her and she followed. Keeping our eyes locked, I increased my thrusting pace for us to reach our climax together. And at this moment, I don't bother whether someone hears us. I release her legs and fall against her chest, she cocoons me in her arms as always. I could hear the loud beating of her heart that matched mine.
👆
🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
"Seems like today's cardio is done," I bury my face in her breast and kiss her chest over her heart.
She releases a satisfied moan and caresses my hair, "I love you, Mama."
"I love you, Kitty," I roll over and pull her against my chest.
"Neethu yen antha story sonna?" She plays with my chest hair but her question tugs at my heart. I wasn't expecting her to ask it out. (Why did you tell that story last night?)
"Takku nu athu thaan nyabagam vanthuchu sonnen. Adhan neenga climax ah maathitengale, Heiress," I caress her hair and she stops playing with my chest hair but I could feel her lips curling up in a smile. (It suddenly came to my mind but you changed the climax, Heiress.)
"Ungalukku antha climax la ethachem objection iruka, My Lord?" She raises her head but I push it back on my chest.
"Romba pudicha irunthathu," I kissed the top of her head and she hugged me tighter, throwing her right leg over my thighs. "Neethu night mazhai pozhinjathu," we continued playing with our hair. (I loved it. And it rained last night.)
"Ohh."
"Idiyum idichathu," she looks up at me, resting her chin on my chest. (Thundered too.)
"Idi ah?" I nod at her. "Enakku ethuvum ketkala, Mama," she looks at me confused for a while and eyes deviate as she thinks. "Maybe I was overwhelmed by my emotions after your confession and the feeling of us three sleeping together," I smiled at her. "Seri, eppo Mama, namma papa kooda namma appadi thoonga pooram?" (Thunder? I didn't hear anything, Mama.) (Well when are we going to sleep with our child like last night?)
Speaking of children, I remember that I forgot to use the protection, "Hey did you take your pills last night?"
"Yeah, yeah, I did," she rolls her eyes with annoyance and places her head back on my chest. "Eight thirty ka enna ezhupu, kulichitu sapida polam. Aathukulla nagutha konnuduven." She tightens her hug and falls into sleep immediately. (Wake me up at eight thirty, let's go for breakfast after taking a bath. If you move away before that, I will kill you.)
"Seringa, Madam," She smiled hearing me and I set the alarm. I caress her hair and eventually fall asleep with her.
I want this forever, I hope my wish is granted.

Thooriga
On a beautiful sunny day at the lawn of our Mansion, amidst the giggling of children, I'm laying on his chest listening to his heartbeat and watching our kids running and playing around us.
The alarm rings and Raj jerks below me. "Hey papa, ezhuthiri eight thirty ayidichu." (Hey baby, wake up, it's eight thirty.)
"Mama, five more minutes please," I hugged him tight.
"Enthiri ma, Ten ku Josiyar vanthuduvaru, namma athukula saptu ready ah irukanum," He sits up with me in his arms and I look at him like a hurt puppy as he removes his arms from around me. He turns and bends down to collect my clothes on the floor. I hug him from behind and rest my left cheek on his back. (Wake up dear, the astrologer will arrive by ten and we must be ready after having our breakfast.)
"Enakku ippadiye irukanum nu asaiya irukku, Mama," I watch us in the mirror opposite to the bed and we both look raw and beautiful together. (I wish we could stay like this forever.)
Yes, it should be others who must usually say you look beautiful together/amazing together/lovely together. But this view is only for our eyes. It's not lust or horniness but it's our raw, natural love and our language in our own universe for two. In this world no one else can enter and I will do whatever it takes to protect it.
"Aama," Raj turns to give me my dress but stops watching us in the mirror. He places my dress on the bed and takes my hand, kisses it, locking his eyes with me through the mirror. "I too wish that but we have a life outside this suite," He wraps my hand around him and holds tight by intertwining our fingers. "We do need to fulfil our duty and we do have a whole lot of time ahead to be like this forever." I smile and kiss on his back.
He releases my arms and pulls me around, making me sit on his lap, hugging me, resting his face against my breast. I wrap my legs around him and hug his head, watching us in the mirror. "How do we look, Mama?"
"Like us, Raj's Thooriga and Thooriga's Raj, raw and beautiful," I looked at him shocked as he voiced out the exact same words in my mind but more beautiful than mine. I didn't make a mistake in waiting for him.
No one can ever love me like he does. Our lifetime together is worth the wait.
~~~~~~~~~~
We had a quick shower, separately in our bathrooms as Raj was hell bent to send me to my bathroom because if we bathed together we would never leave the bathroom. I usually wash my hair three days once since Raj asked me to take a head bath as the Astrologer is keen on physical cleanliness.
What will he do for the people who are not internally clean?
I wore a salwar suit and Raj stood froze in his spot looking at me. He visibly took a deep breath and released it.
"I'm not going to say anything," he kept shaking his head as if he was trying to block some idea.
We joined the family in the dining hall and it was a pure vegetarian breakfast without eggs. After our breakfast we all were waiting for the astrologer and exactly as his car entered the gates of the Mansion. Thiyagu Thatha and Parvati paati went to the porch to invite him inside the house.
"Mama, Josiyar nu sonna, paaka samiyar mari irukaru," I murmured to Raj. (You said he is an Astrologer but he looks like a saint.)
"Avaru madathula irunthu vararu anga ellam samiyar mari thaan irupanga aana josiyam kuri ellaam correct ah soluvanga," he murmurs back to me as Parvati pati does aarthi to him. (He is coming from a Mutt, everyone from their dress up like saints. Also their predictions always come true.)
"Nambalama?" (Trustworthy?)
"After decoding his prediction only, Thooran sir wrote his will," I swallow hard hearing him and try to control my tears. Raj holds my hand secretly to console me. But I nod my head at him, assuring I'm fine and remove my hand from his hold.
The astrologer enters the house and sits in a short stool that his assistants place for him. They place a mini stool (footstool/ manai kattai) with the astrology chart which I have seen in the daily tamil calendar opposite to him.
"Swamy, en paiyan nu erkanave kalyanam aagi antha ponnu thavirata," Thiyagu Thatha keeps his plea. "Ippo rendavathu vaati kalyanam agi irukku. Apovum seri Ipovum seri avan naal keezhama paakama kalyanam panitan athu naala thirumba antha ponnu kodave kalyanam pannalam nu irukom. Oru nalla naal parthu sonna nalla iruku," He forwards two A4 sheets but the astrologer stops him and looks at Rudhran Chitha and Tina. He smiles at them and gets shells from his assistant, holding them tight in palm, he rests his palm against his forehead and murmurs to himself. (Swamy, my son's first wife died early and he got married again, recently. Whether it's then or now, he married without checking any auspicious day. So we are planning to get them married again. Please fix an auspicious day for their marriage.)
"Mama, kandupudichitara?" I look at Raj who is curiously watching too. (Did he find out?)
"Therilaye, ithu nalla thaan, Rudhran manthiruchu vita mari irunthan," he answers as the astrologer spreads the shells on the astrology chart. (Not sure, but because of this turn, Rudhran was so scared in the morning.)
The astrologer calls Rudhran Chitha and he kneels before him, "Nee unmai nu nenachathu poi ah pochu. Nee nirantharam nu nenachathu nila llama poochu. Aana nee ethir parkaatha nerathula ethir parkaatha edathula irunthu unkita vanthathu thaan nilaiyana unmai. Atha epovum vitu velagatha irukki pudichiko, nalla iru." (The one you thought to be real turned out to be fake. The one you thought to be forever, had to leave early. But the one who came to you at an unexpected time from an unexpected place is forever reality. Hold on to it tightly. Stay blessed.)
He signals him to go and calls Tina, "Nee romba bayanthu odi odi unakku neeye thunaiya irunthu valanthutu. Un koodave poranthathu unnoda thaimai, ellarukum athu uravu naala varum aana unaku athu naala thaan uravu kedachi iruku. Oru vidhai eru poonthotam agum, santhoshama iru." (You became your own shadow after running being afraid. Your motherhood is born with you. Everyone will get it through a relationship but you'll get a relationship through it. One seed will blossom into two flowers. Stay happy.)
He looks at me directly and calls me to him.
Why is he calling me?
Everyone asks me to go to him and I do hesitantly. "Kula saamy kovil vitutu poitu ipothaan thirumbi vanthu iruka. Sooravali ye vanthalum un nambikai la irunthu konjam koda nagurama nilaiya nillu. Un thedal ku ellam vidai kedaikum. Un karuppan eppovum un kooda thuniya vanthu unna kaapan, thairiyama iru." I stand up and walk backward, trying to understand his words. (You, the clan deity has left the temple and returned home recently. Don't ever leave your trust even if it storms, stay put. All your queries will be answered. Your Lord Karuppan will always be on your side and protect you. Stay strong.)
After me, Illakiya aththai tries to get her prediction but he stops her and beckons Raj to come up to him.
Raj looks at him shocked but Thiyagu thatha asks him to go and I push him too, "Unaku urave illa nu nee theru theru va thirintha kaalam ellam pochu. Unakaga porantha uravum nee tholacha uravum unna thedi vanthuduchu. Unna atha eppovum thaniya vitathum illa vida porathum illa. Aana unna thollacha rendu uyir unna thedi varum athuku vimotchanam koduthu anupu, nallathe nadakkum." (The days of you roaming the streets being a loner are long gone. The relationship that was born for you and the one who you lost has come back to you. It never left you alone and will never leave you alone. But two souls that lost you will come in search of you, relieve them from a curse. Everything will end well.)
He calls Thiyagu thatha, "Kovil kolam nu poga vendiya vayasula nee anyanavaasam poitu vanthu iruka. Nee nenachathu ellam nallave nadakkum." (At the age of visiting temples, he went away from your family. But all you wished for will happen.)
He next calls Parvati pati, "Un thoolula iruntha summai un manasula iruntha vali ellam erakki vaikura neram vanthuduchu, nimathiya iru. Jathangangala kodu." (It's time for you to shed your burden and pain. Stay relieved. Give me the horoscopes.)
"Saamy, neenga Ilakkiya kum mapillai kum kuri sollaiye," Parvati gives him the horoscope of Chitha and Tina and looks behind her at Aththai and Mama. (Saamy, you didn't say your prediction for Ilakkiya and our son-in-law.)
"Intha veetla irukurathu naala ava intha veetu ponnu agiduvala? Ava epovo kai marita. Intha veetu alungalukku mattum thaan kuri solla mudiyum." He opens the horoscopes and places them on the mini stool. (Only by staying in this house, she doesn't belong to this family. She belongs somewhere else. I'll predict only for these family members.)
"Appo enakku, saamy?" Taran calls out to him and the astrologer glances up at him. For me?)
"Engalaye ethuvum illa nu soliaru..." Eshwaran Mama starts his regular banter but the astrologer stops him and he smiles at Taran guestering at him to come up to him. (He said there is no prediction for us...)
He makes Taran sit next to him and caresses him from head to shoulders. "Unakku kuri illa adivura solren, Kastapaatu poratha Ishtapata vazhkai vazhura eppovum anbum pasamum oda iru nandri maravatha. Nee chinna pulla nu ellarum nenachitu irukanga aana unakkula iruka valli unna periyavana akiduchu aana atha maranthu nee santhoshama iruka neram vanthuduchu magizhchiya iru." (Instead of a prediction, I'll give you some advice. You were born amongst great difficulty but living a happy life. Always show love and gratitude. Everyone is thinking of you as a child but the pain within you has turned you into a matured one. But it's time for you to forget your pain and have a happy life. Stay happy.)
The astrologer sends Taran back to Tina and does some mind calculation looking at Chitha and her horoscope chart. He gets a book from his assistant and checks before fixing a date three weeks from now.
Though the ones who knew the truth about Chitha and Tina's wedding sighed with relief, the face of the ones who received the prediction looks confused.
I guess it's time for some deciding.
