Saby left in a hastle after the kiss and I pushed myself up to reach my bed. When I first met Saby there was something intriguing about him which urged me to learn about him. But we were able to talk only a couple of times until Thooriga's birthday. After what happened to me four years ago, I preferred to stay away from men but when he asked for a dance, I couldn't refuse.

I wanted to check whether I'm panicking when I'm standing in the close proximity of any guy and it was easy with Saby during the dance. But whether it was in the hospital or now, when he held my hand, I panicked. Though I maintained a bold exterior in the hospital, my inner self was struggling like a butterfly that caught inside a glass jar. And now, I completely lost it, as the past memories came haunting me, when Saby pinned my hands against the wall and was terrifyingly close to me.

I literally got scared that he would violate me but when I panicked, he handled and helped me in calming down. I never knew I could ever find solace in a man's arm and kiss but I did with Saby. I can be crazy but his kiss felt protective, I felt safe in his arms but I don't understand why he left after apologizing twice.

Did he regret kissing me?

My stomach grumbles with hunger and I wake up searching for my phone to check the time. It displays 10:13am and I shoot up to sit. I was about to walk out of my bedroom and inform Raj to call for my breakfast, when I remembered I'm in my PJ pants and bra. I walk back to my bed and call the chef to send my breakfast.

I entered my bathroom to brush my teeth. I decided to take a bath before leaving for the party. I couldn't sleep properly last night after Raj left without speaking a word. I was waiting for him to say something thinking I have slept like he confessed his feelings on my birthday night. I was awake until I heard the crowing of a rooster and fell asleep without realizing it.

I walked back into my closet and wore a t-shirt before entering my lounge room. I found a maid who started to serve my breakfast and stopped her, "Ellarum saptanga?" I asked her to know whether everyone had their breakfast, else I would ask her to take my breakfast to Tanya's room.

"Saptanga Heiress, neenga mattum thaan," I sat asking her to leave and I served myself to eat. I'm not going to talk with Raj until he talks with him. (Everyone had their breakfast, Heiress, only you are left.)

After finishing my breakfast, I walk into Raj's office to find him talking with Saby bro. I smile at Saby bro, "Saby Bro, enaku intha terrorist katti poota eppadi escape agurathu kathukodunga," I say the word terrorist looking at Raj. (Saby bro, can you teach me to escape when a terrorist ties me up?)

His face changes, "Athu onnum avlo easy illa, Heiress," he leaves the suite closing the door behind. (Wish it was easier as you think, Heiress)

"What's your problem, Thooriga?" Raj shouts at me, "Was this really necessary? He lost his friend who was kidnapped by terrorist and deemed unfit when he went on a rescue mission to save his friend."

Raj didn't talk properly with me from yesterday morning, but he never raised his voice until now. Also I feel like shit as I hurt Saby bro without knowing what happened in his past.

What had happened to me? Why am I touching the sour spot of everyone?

I walk out of my suite and go to Tanya's room. I knocked at her door for her to open and I immediately hugged her. "What happened? Come in first." I entered her room

"At last, you woke up. Is this the time to wake up?" Tina also comes to meet us.

"I didn't sleep the entire night," I went to sit on the couch in Tanya's bedroom.

"You didn't sleep all night? You said he is still angry with you after dinner?" I release an irritated breath as she teases me with knowing what happened.

"Ayyo, Chithi, not like that." She glared at me and I smirked at her, "He came to my room, sat on my bed and left without saying anything. That's why I couldn't sleep." I hide other details.

"Okay, that's why you are sad?" Tanya asked me.

"No," I pouted at her.

"Then?"

"I decided to tease Raj but ended up hurting Saby bro and Raj scolded me for that," I placed my head on Tina's lap.

"What did you do?" Tanya glares at me.

"I said something which triggered Saby bro's memory from the military and he left the suite, hurt," I started crying.

"Sometimes, you make a smaller mess into a bigger one," Tanya states the truth.

"I don't know what has happened to me for the past three days. One by one, I keep hurting everyone I know."

"Okay, Okay, don't cry. It was unintentional, you apologize to him and he will forgive you. Next time be careful," Tina consoles me. "Well, Tanya, I came to inform you of this, I have shared both of our resumes to Rudhran ji. He has asked us to go and meet him in his office."

"Will you both return before we go to the party?"

"Hey, it's your school reunion, you are going to meet your childhood friends after ten years. We don't want you to struggle between us and them. So you go alone."

"Vini and Swathi will be there. I can manage it all," I sat up.

"Try to mend things with Raj through this party, you planned this for that only, didn't you?"

"That was before dinner. I won't talk with him until he talks with me," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Don't behave like a child, Thooriga, you hurt him and you didn't apologize to him," she supported him.

"He didn't listen to me and didn't give space to explain, but you are supporting him."

"Then use this chance and make him listen and talk to you," she slaps my head.

"Ouch, you are behaving like a mother."

"Galat, rishte mein tumhare chachi lagthi hain," I looked at her surprised. Just a while ago she glared at me for teasing her using the term, Chithi and now she is saying that she is my aunt (paternal uncle's wife).

"So got settled in your new room, Chachi ji?" I'm not going to let her go easily and Tanya giggles.

She stares at me, "Yes."

"Slept peacefully?" I bat my eyes at her

She lets out a heavy breath, "Yes, me on bed with Taran and Rudhran ji on the couch."

"Told you, he will handle everyone."

"Hope he does the same even after his parents return."

"You don't trust him?"

"Not like that. I'm just scared about the insights he gave about his parents," she replies with a worried face.

"Don't worry he will manage," I pat her shoulder and cheer her up. I stayed in Tanya's room chatting with them until they left for Harshavardhan Estate after lunch. Before they left, I apologized to Saby bro and he forgave me.

I entered my suite and Raj looked up at me as I walked past him to open the lounge room door. "What time is the reunion party?"

I don't look back at him, "At 1900 hours. It could be better if all the guards who are escorting me are dressed in party wear. By what time should I be ready to leave?"

"06:30 PM would be fine, Thoo," I don't let him finish. I entered the lounge room and locked the door behind me. Since my return, I have never locked any of the doors but today I do. Let him feel the pain of being unable to finish their statement and unable to apologize for the hurt they gave to the person they love.

Sharp at 06:30 PM, I open the lounge room door after getting ready for the party to find Raj dressed completely in black and checking his watch.

Fuck!! Does he have to be this hot, perfect and alpha male-ish?

"Shall we?" He looks at me from my bottom to top and his calm face slowly changes into an annoyed one.

"What the fuck are you wearing?" Thooriga is wearing a shoulderless, heart neckline, curves hugging short dress that reaches just above her mid thigh.

"Party wear, anything wrong?" She checks her dress as if she doesn't know what I mean. I know, she has purposely chosen this dress to infuriate me.

"Yeah, a dress which leaves very less for imagination." She is looking so damn hot in this dress with heels that make her legs look long.

"You said, I can dress as I wish, now What's your problem, now?" She walks past me and opens the door. Saby and the newbie Madan look at her and lower their heads. She walks in front and we follow behind her. She stops at Tanya's room and informs her and Tina about her leaving for the party before getting down the staircase.

Gratefully, no other family member is outside in the hallway else, I'm not sure whether they will be fine with this dress of hers. I let Saby drive the car and sit opposite to her in the passenger seat, ordering other guards to follow us in the convoys.

Thooriga doesn't care about us sitting on opposite sides and starts checking her mobile and typing on it, probably chatting with her friends. Last night after untying herself, she didn't come to fight with me. And today, since morning, she didn't talk with me.

When she woke up, she called the chef by herself and asked to send her breakfast. After her breakfast, she came out of her and still didn't talk with but thinking she is playfully teasing me, she hurt Saby. I knew it was unintentional, as she doesn't know what happened to Saby but at that moment, I scolded her. Her eyes were all teared up but she didn't fight back and left for Tanya's room. She didn't return until her friends left to meet Rudhran in the Estate office. She just answered my question and left for her room, without giving me a chance to apologize for screaming at her, locking the door behind her.

I take my mobile to send her message, so that my apology will at least reach her through her mobile screen. A sudden brake makes the phone slip off my hands and fall on the car floor. I bend to take it and Thooriga uncrosses her legs and I see something that shocks me to the core. I straight back on my seat and press the button to raise the privacy screen.

I leap onto the opposite side to sit next to her and push her legs together with my hands. She looks up at me, "What are you doing?"

"What are you doing? Where are your panties?"

"Ohh, this is a slim fit dress and if I wear panties, the outline will be visible. So I decided to go commando," she shrugs casually.

"Don't you have any shorts or a thong?" Shorts could have covered more than a panties can and thongs could have covered at least the necessities but she decided to go commando instead.

"I don't have shorts and I don't remember where I kept my thong. As it was getting late, I thought I could manage without anything," she continued to check her phone and I checked on her.

"Are you at least wearing a strapless bra?"

"Nope, only nipple covers," I released a frustrated sigh.

"We have reached the hotel," Saby speaks through the speaker as the privacy screen is up. Thooriga placed her phone in her clutch and unlocked the door from her side. A guard opened it for her to get down from the car. I got down from my side and we all followed her.

In the lift, I pulled her closer to me and murmured, "No alcoholic dress." I don't want her to risk anything stupid.

"I'll try," she says, pulling her hand off my hold and walks out when the lift opens.
