After spending almost two hours in the hospital and enrollment centre, we all returned to the mansion. The process in the hospital and EC were quick but as the legal advisor was slated to arrive while taking the DNA test, I couldn't make a trip to gynecological.

The risk of pregnancy is zero for another couple of days but still, I wanted to get an after sex contraceptive pill for safety. So I requested Tanya to help me out. Both Tina and Tanya are spity and bold but Tina is good at handling Tanya and me, so I wanted her to stay with me.

Tanya successfully got the pills and it seems like Sabarish has guessed for who she has got the medicines prescribed as she used him as the scapegoat. But I felt Sabarish knew about what was transferring between Raj and me, as he smirked looking at us when Raj escorted me.

Actually Raj wanted us to visit the estate grounds as he wanted to introduce me, the Harshavardhan clan Heiress to the workers and the plan of showing the estate to my friends is pending. But I wanted to take a shower after visiting the hospital for the good of myself and others.

When we entered the Mansion gates, we found one car leaving the mansion and there was another car parked in the driveway. We entered the main house to find Vikranth talking with Ilakkiya aththai.

"Ivlo kaalaila enga poitu vaarenga?" Ilakkiya Aththai asks us. (Where did you all go, early in the morning?)

"To the Hospital, Aththai."

"Hospital? Are you alright?" Vikranth asks with concern and comes to check on me.

I take a step back and Raj blocks his way, "Tanya was unwell, so we all accompanied her," Raj lies and all of us look at him shocked.

"Are you okay, Tanya?" Vik asks her and Saby bro blocks his way from reaching her. "She is fine and all of us need a shower as we all are back from the hospital. It's good you stay away for your own good."

"OK, take your time, I'll wait. I came to take you on an Estate tour to our family estate."

"Actually, I need to visit my estate, have some work there. Can we plan for another day?"

"Namma Estate ah?" Aththai asks me before her vision to Raj, "Grounds ellam check panyacha?" (Our Estate? Have the grounds been checked?)

"Okay Aththai," He says in a cute voice.

"Seri neenga ellam kulichitu vaanga. Lunch serve panna soliduren." She tells us and asks Vik to join for lunch. (Okay, everyone take a shower and come for lunch. I'll ask the maids to serve us lunch.)

"No aunty, it's fine. I'll come by some other day." He leaves wishing us good bye.

Jagan Anna and a couple of guards were surveying the Heiress wing, "Yaarayum vanthangal?" Raj asked him as he pressed his palm on the biometric door lock. (Did anyone come here?)

"No boss," he replies and Raj enters asking me to wait with them and returns in a minute, "It's clear, Heiress you may go in."

I roll my eyes and enter as I hear him instructing Saby bro and other guards who came with us to the hospital to take a shower and have lunch before returning to duty. I close the bedroom, put my mobile to get charged and enter the closet. I remove my accessories and tie my hair into a bun before I remove my denim jacket. I pull my t-shirt over my head when Raj walks into the closet angrily and closes the door, finding me undressing. "Door lock pandora paazhakamae illaya?" He asks, looking at me in the mirror, irritated. (Don't you have the habit of locking the door?)

"Lock panna nee eppadi nenacha nerathuku ulla vara mudiyum, Mama? Athu mattum llama una thaandi yaaru vara poora?" I asked as I removed my bra. (If I lock the door, how can you enter whenever you wish, Mama? Also who is going to enter crossing your high level security?)

"Yesterday, Ilakkiya ma'am entered" he says without getting affected by my half nakedness in his anger.

"Ipo ena aachu nu nee ivlo kovama iruka?" I turn to glare at him and cross my arms against my chest. (What happened that made you so angry?)

"Nee Tanya va gynecologist kita anupi unakku pills vaangu niya?" He glares at me. (Did you send Tanya to the gynecologist to get pills for you?)

"Aama, romba late aguvathu kula precaution eduthuka thaan," I say as I unbutton and unzip my pants to remove it. (Yes, before it gets too late, I wanted to be precautious)

"Athuku ethuku avanga Saby ah avanga boyfriend nu poi solanum? Etho kooda ponathu Saby naala paravala vera yaarachum iruntha?" He shouts on my face. (What was the need for her to introduce Saby as her boyfriend? Since it was him who accompanied her it was fine, what if it was someone else?)

"She went alone but you were the one who sent Saby to escort her," I equally shouted back at him as I removed my panties and threw it in the laundry basket. "Also Tanya was trying to manage the gynce but the nurse said to the doctor that Tanya was accompanied by a guy who was waiting outside and they assumed Saby bro and Tanya were a couple."

He lowers his head, "Sorry," I hear him in a faint voice.

I go near him and look up at his lowered head, "Ipo ethuku sorry?" (Why are you asking sorry?)

"Chumma nadikatha. Seri va poi kulikalam," I tried to drag him but he stopped me, "Hospital la irunthu vanthu irukom thani thaniyaga kulikalam." I understand his point and agree with him. (Don't act. Come let's take a shower.) (It's better to take showers separately as we are back for the Hospital)

After thirty minutes, I walk into the dining hall with my friends and guards to find Ilakkiya Aththai feeding lunch to Taran. We take our seats and Rudhran Chitha and Eshwar Mama also join us. Our food is served and we start having casual talks as we eat.

Everything was going fine, until I asked Rudhran Chitha "Chitha, thatha paati epo varen nu ethachum sonangala?" and I feel a change of air in the environment. (Chitha, when grand uncle and aunt are returning home?)

"Ivan panna kariyathuku avanga vara maathiri illa," Eshwar mama, throws his usual taunting comment. (They won't return as they didn't like what he did.)

But what did Chitha do for his parents not to return back to India?

"Taran saptachu la nee poi online class ku ready aagu," Ilakkiya aththai sends Taran away. He runs upstairs after kissing her and Chitha. (Taran you go and get ready for your online class.)

"Sothama oru pullaiku vakku illa, ippadi ooran pillai ya ellam ooti valthutu iru," Eshwar Mama washes his hands in the plate he was eating and leaves. (You don't have the ability to give birth to a child of your own but keep taking care of everyone else's.)

I look at him shocked wondering what the issue is. "Taran ooda surname mattum thaan Harshavardhan aana avan namma family ratham kidaiyathu," Ilakkaiya Aththai drops a bomb and I gape at her. (Taran's surname is Harshavardhan but he is not our blood.)

"What do you mean?"

"Taran, was born to Jeevitha and her first husband," Chitha breaks his silence after the topic was started. "Jeevitha and I have been best friends since college. She was married off to Prakash and went through domestic violence and marital rape. I helped her in coming out of that marriage when she was pregnant with Taran and still facing domestic violence. When Taran was born, I named him Thooran as he was born on the same day as Anna."

He looks at me and smiles before continuing, "Jeevitha and Taran were under my shelter but the society degraded our relationship. Also Prakash claimed for Taran's custody, so I married Jeevitha to keep Taran with us. But dad and mom were not okay with it and kept on advising me to leave them. When she died, my parents wanted me to leave Taran to Prakash and get married to someone else but I was adamant as I promised Jeevitha that I would never let Taran go to that bastard. So Dad and Mom broke ties with me and left for the USA."

Rudhran Chitha leaves after telling his story and I curse myself for asking this question during lunch time as everyone didn't eat properly. I sit there unable to speak a word, Tina wipes her eyes as she gets reminded of her mom and I pat her thigh.

(Tomorrow there is a custody hearing. I asked Rudhran for adoption but he didn't agree, if he had agreed, this wouldn't have been this difficult.)

Even I lost my interest in having lunch. I request Raj to postpone the Estate visit for tomorrow and he agrees. I try to distract myself and watch netflix but only the videos are running but my mind goes back to Rudhran Chitha's story. During dinner I told Chitha that I'll accompany him to the court, tomorrow, without getting permission from Raj but he nodded his head understandingly.

These ten years have really changed a lot of things in the lives of many people.
