"She was my mother. You are in no place to even think of her after what you did." Andrea cried with hot tears of anger running down her face.

***FLASHBACK TO 10 YEARS AGO***

**3rd person POV**

"Momma!! Momma!!" Kathleen yelled for her mother.

"What is the matter darling" Alessandra cooed to her young child.

"Up! Momma up!" The child made grabby hands at Alessandra so that she'd pick her up.

"You are getting too big for this my angel." Her mother told her, but picked her up and put her on her hip anyway.

Kathleen immediately hugged her mothers neck and cuddled into her side.

"Where is papa?" The oh so innocent child asked.

"At work my dear." But what young Kathleen didn't know. is that her papa is the leader of the biggest, most feared gang in the world. The Watch Dogs. So you can imagine that Antonio would be very busy.

"He's always at work." Kathleen pouted with tears in her eyes.

"I know baby, but that's how he provides for us and gets you all of the beautiful things we have." Alessandra explained to the oblivious child.

"Okay momma." the child nodded and all too quickly fell asleep in her mother's arms.

***2 YEARS LATER***

"PAPA NO!" 11 year old Kathleen screamed at her father as he pushed her mother down the stairs.

"Stay out of it Kathleen. Or you're next." Antonio sneered through his teeth at his child.

Kathleen curled up in a ball and sobbed as she listened to her mother's screams and father's harsh words.

"You're absolutely useless!"

"You have done nothing good for me!"

"You have no purpose other than to serve me and you cant even do that!"

"Stupid! Stupid woman!"

Kathleen lifted her head from in between her legs after her mother's screams stopped.

"Momma..?" The child carefully called for her mother in a raspy, broken voice"

"Your mother is dead." Antonio said to the 11 year old. Who just so happened to be all too familiar with death.

"No. No! She can't be!" Kathleen sobbed into her knees.

Antonio just stared blankly at his broken daughter.

"I hate you." She looked up from her knees at the man she no longer knew.

***FLASHBACK OVER***

"you will understand one day," kathleen's  father began, "you will understand that your mother was an evil woman."

at hearing this an animalistic growl could be heard from kathleen's side of the room, as she ripped out her iv and lunged at her father from her feeble state in the hospital bed. just as she was about to flee the bed, her body suddenly froze and she collapsed to the floor.

nobody moved as they heard the sickening sound of kathleen's skull cracking as her head fell upon the cold tile floor.

louis was the first to go to her side. then harry. then liam. and niall following close behind.

"I DON'T FEEL A PULSE" liam screamed with two fingers on her already cold wrist. 

upon hearing the shouting from her room, 3 nurses immediately rushed in, pushing everyone aside.

seconds felt like hours as the cardio team tried to revive the poor girl.

it was a breath of fresh air for everyone when they finally heard the slow but steady beat of the heart monitor.

"i need you all to know something," the head cardio resident began, "she may not wake up, she has clearly been through a lot today, and her body has gone into a coma to protect itself, and because of her fall, there's a high possibility that she won't wake up."

upon hearing this louis' knees buckled underneath him as he fell to the floor in tears. the others in the room got goosebumps and felt pains in their stomachs from hearing his heartbreaking sobs.

it's been 4 hours now. everyone has gone home except for louis. he ended up falling asleep holding kathleen's hand as he was lulled to sleep by the repetitive sounds of the slow and steady heart monitor.
