This story includes Solhali as mentioned in the title but I genderbent Solar so now she a girl ^^

Her relationships with the other Boboiboy characters will be revealed later on, including her full name, and I will be adding 1 character from Mechamato to the story.

Soft and mellow music stared playing.

Solar looked out into the horizon. Bright fierce yet calm amber eyes, staring into the stars. Hair flowing in the wind.

She began to sing, a soft and calming tune.

"So, tell me, you love me."

She paused to look at the person behind her.

"Even if it's hard..."

Normally cold and emotionless ruby red eyes went soft in a split second as Halilintar flinched at the words.

Solar took notice but didn't pay much attention to it. Turning her attention back to the glittering night sky.

"I'm sitting here, wondering..."

She closes her eyes as memories of her waiting on the deck ledge looking outside for Halilintar started flooding.

"Where you are..."

A memory of her waiting for Halilintar started showing.

A rainy day, everyone has retreated to their homes for the afternoon. But Halilintar hasn't returned yet. And Solar continued to wait for him at the window from her bedroom.

The door opened, and in came her sister, Luna. And she was holding two mugs of hot cocoa. She gave one to Solar, to which she gratefully accepted, and proceeded to take a seat beside her.

"He's still not back yet?" Luna asked her. Solar shook her head which made Luna frown. It's been hours, yet Halilintar still hasn't returned.

"You know, there's still other things you can do aside from staying in your bedroom all day doing absolutely nothing." Luna said taking a sip from her mug.

"I can't... he might be back soon..." Solar said not diverting her attention anywhere else. Just staring out the window. Like she was doing the entire afternoon.

Luna sighed, "Look sis, I understand that you're worried. But it's already been 3 hours-."

"How can I not be worried!? HE said he would come home 3 hours ago! And look at the time now! What if something happened to him! What if-!"

"Or what if he's cheating on you?" (¹) Luna suggested.

Solar's eyes widened in surprise. And she shouted in retaliation, "He would never! We love each other more than anything! I'm sure he wouldn't cheat on me."

"But would he really not cheat on you?" Luna interjected. Solar didn't respond to that.

Without even thinking, Solar said, "Get out." Luna looked at her confused, "Wait what?" Solar got angry and shouted, "I said, get out!"

Luna was taken a back, but left anyways, leaving a tray of cookies on her sister's bedside table.

Solar plopped on her bed as she buried her face in her hands. And then running her hands through her hair.

"Are you out there thinking of me..."

Another memory started playing. This time, of Solar and Duri.

"Hey lil sis!" Duri said grinning as he made his way towards Solar. But that grin soon faded into a frown as he noted Solar's unhappy face.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Solar sighed, "It's nothing, just thinking about what Luna said a few days ago..."

That made Duri raise an eyebrow. Luna was known to have lots of crazy theories. And Solar was known to just stick by the facts. Seeing Solar actually believe Luna's theory this time was both alarming and worrying.

"What was it about?" Said slowly trying to approach her carefully. "It's nothing." She said turning away from him so her back now was all he saw.

He looked extremely concerned and worried. He racked his brain into thinking of all the possible things that made Luna say the theory in the first place.

Her academic grades, no. Getting scolded by the teachers for something she didn't do, big nope, she would definitely have a different reaction. The fanfics she reads, definitely not, at least not to this extent. Her boyfrien-

Duri's eyes filled with both furry and concern. Trying to keep his voice calm, he said quietly, "It's about Halilintar isn't it?"

No verbal response. Just a simple and clear answer. Silence.

Duri was so close to losing his temper and going after Halilintar himself. No one dares hurts his little sister and gets away with it. Emotionally or physically.

"But it's alright, I'm sure it's wrong." Solar said, in an attempt to calm her older brother down. It did work... sorta...

"What's her theory Solar?" Duri said firmly. Solar flinched at the tone. And she attempted to walk away. But two firm hands on her shoulder as she was forced to turn around prevented her from doing so.

"Solara Helia Syntha (²), tell me right now or I'm going to ask her myself." Duri said, a worried frown laced his lips as he looked at his sister dead in the eye.

Solar flinched at the use of full name but knew there was no way she could worm her way out of this one. So, she told him everything, from the beginning of their conversation, all the way to the end. No excess details and no details from it missed. Just recounting everything she remembered on that day.

Once she was done, Duri held an 'angry-yet-worried-over-protective-older-brother' face. (³)

"If he is cheating on you, then there will be h311 to pay. Maybe I can even get dad into this." (⁴) Duri mumbled under his breathe.

Solar smacked him with her book as Duri rubbed his head on the spot where she hit him. "Are you kidding me!? There's no way that he would cheat on me! And even if so, this is my personal business, not yours!" She whisper-shouted with a visible annoyed and angry expression on her face.

"Well, you are my little sister, and seeing it is the job of an older brother to protect his little sister, I'd say that this IS my business as well." Duri said crossing his arms.

"Oh, I'm sorry dear brother of mine but may I remind you that I'm in HIGH-SCHOOL now! (⁵) I'm no longer a baby for your information." Solar replied with equal sass.

"But it doesn't change the fact that you're STILL my younger sister, does it?" Duri asked. And although it came out as a question, the siblings both knew it was a statement. Solar sighed in defeat, not knowing how to respond.

Duri's eyes softened at that as he pulls her into an unexpected hug. Solar was startled but returned the embrace anyways. "Look, I know that this is your own personal business. This isn't something I should be meddling with. But I can't help it. You're my sister, and I love you, I don't want you to be hurt, emotionally or physically. But just know I'm always here for you when you need me, no matter what."

Solar just nodded, seemingly lost in her thoughts. Duri let go of the hug and started walking back home. Luna, who appeared from who knows where, appeared and started guiding Solar back home. Her subconsciousness taking control of her legs as she continues to stare at the ground.

'But would he really not cheat on you?'

"Am I near to your heart?"

Halilintar's hand unconsciously slid to something in his pocket, rubbing it gently with his thumb. (⁶) But he never took it out, he just... continues to gaze at his beautiful girlfriend.

"I can tell there's a distance..."

A star pendant hung loose from her neck. But it was only half a star. And it wasn't a normal 5-point star. It was an 8-point star. Well, at the moment, it only looks like it has only 5 points. But it's obvious that it originally had 8-points.

It was made of diamonds, the edges in gold and decorated with her birthstone, Amethyst. At the back, her birthdate, her zodiac sign, and it has the first 3 letters of her names, 'Sol'. (⁷)

"Pulling us apart..."

Solar and Halilintar were seen laughing as they walk around the park, but yet they were flickering. It was a memory, a very, very distant memory.

"Oh, how are you so close, yet you feel so far?"

Halilintar was seen wiping a smudge of chocolate off on Solar's cheek.

"Am I even talking to you?"

Solar and Halilintar was happily talking over the phone as Solar was doing her homework, and Halilintar was cooking.

"Or a ghost that has my heart?"

Solar was seen being surprised by Halilintar with the pendant.

"Cause I need your full attention, so I can be the first to start. And say that I love you"

"I love you", Said Solar after Halilintar confessed to her.

"But I think we've grown apart..."

Going back to the first flashback, Sunny in her room, waiting for Halilintar, on that rainy afternoon.

Halilintar would admit, his heart did warm up for a split second, before it practically melted in sadness and in guilt.

"Oh, now we're two ghosts, that once had each other's hearts..."

Solar crossed her arms and leaned to the ledge, and half buried her head in her arms. Although her amber eyes still visible through her chocolate brown hair. The very same amber eyes Halilintar could stare into for days.

He slowly made his way towards Solar, as stealthy as a tiger.

He hugged Solar from behind as she sang the next line.

"Oh, now we're just two ghosts, that's grown apart..."

The two intertwined hands as Solar just melts in the moment. She took in a hard and strangled breathe.

"So now here's the hard part... time to say the goodbye..." (⁸)

Halilintar forcefully made Solar face him and wiped the tears away.

Solar desperately tried to not make any eye contact as it just makes the words harder to speak.

"Oh, there wasn't a reason... just times just done it's time!"

Halilintar now felt extremely, EXTREMELY guilty. And he solemnly sang along...

"How are you so close? Yet you feel so far... Am I even talking to you? Or a ghost that has my heart? Cause I need your full attention, so I can be the first to start. And say that I love you, but I think we've grown apart."

The two were dancing along together, doing the waltz. Lost in the music. And lost in their thoughts and the feel.

"Oh, now we're-"

Solar and Halilintar we're in class, visibly avoiding eye contact.

"two ghosts... That once had each other's hearts-"

Solar and Halilintar were laughing and smiling as they made a small heart together with their fingers.

"Oh, now we're just two ghosts, that's grown apart..."

As Halilintar tried to twirl her but she resisted and looked at him dead in the eye.

"And you know you'll always love them and that's what hurts the most..."

She really had tears forming and dangerously threatening to fall.

"Is it left a piece and it's tied to this ghost!"

The two slowly made their way towards each other. With Solar gesturing to Hali on the last part.

"Now what once was, hangs by a thread..." (⁸)

The necklace was swaying around dangerously around her neck.

She was a mess. A mental, emotional, and physical mess since her face is stained in tears.

"And you hurt cause you know the thread can never be broken!" (⁹)

She was close to collapsing as her whole body shakes.

"Memories stay, but love faded away."

Memories, good and bad, are there forever to stay. Even if you forget it.

But love never stays, it can fade away, it can waver, it can stay.

But not all love is true love.

Some can be manipulative, some can be controlling, and some can be abusive.

"Oh, they say time will heal but, all it did was break..."

Their relationship truly did break. (¹⁰)

Time may seem to have healed your wounds, but it didn't.

It just helped stop the blood from flowing out.

Wounds never heal over time, they stay. They become a part of you. 

But it's up to you on what you will do.

"All it did was break..."

Solemn atmosphere engulfed the two.

Solar whispered..

"All it did was break..."

They were so close to each other now. Their breaths felt on each other's faces.

3. Duri's behavior is something I tried to mimic from many sibling relation stuff rather than the original elements' personalities. Plus, I've never seen anyone use Duri so far as an actual overprotective big brother so why don't I change that. *sprouts innocent face*

4. Their parents aren't Gemgem nor Glacier if you guys were thinking them!

I used two of my own personal OC's, Yue and Berry.

Again, it's too long to write it here. But if you message me about it, I'll be glad to answer it for you.

5. So the inspiration for this is based on something real life. My mom kept wanting to help me even though I can handle it myself and that I didn't even ask for help. Every single time she wants to see if I need help, I'm like: "Mom, I'm in high-school now-."

(Update on that as of October 18, 2022: My mom is finally leaving me alone seeing that I'm doing really good na without her.)

6. So he was rubbing his half of the pendant that he kept. 

It was similar to the one Sunny was wearing, though it had 'hali' and his sign is Cancer and the gems are Rubies. I haven't really set an official date for Hali's birthday in this story yet, but if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to drop them down <333

7. I almost based this off my friend. The original birth month I had in mind for our dear sunshine was December, but I did more research and decided on February. Fun fact, my friend is actually a February baby, in my batch, but yet she is younger than me by around 6-7 months. And the youngest in the entire batch.

8. I never really realized his when writing this during school but... it was almost actually literal since the last thing that actually held their relationship was their pendant necklaces... which to say the least... is held by a thread...

I decided to post this sooner to entertain you all while I'm inactive at the moment..

I'll be honest, the song has more lyrics than what I put here. But since my busy schedule just says no to me, I have to unfortunately shorten it.

I might make this longer at some point, but I can't really deal with it right now.
