Yes... I finally decided to finish this - Current me

Fang and Kaizo were seen in Kaizo's spaceship, both of them just chilling and minding their own business. 

The Kokotiam gang, Kaizo's team, the sheild twins, aKa Sai and Sheilda, and Ramenman, were all given a week break from all missions.

The Kokotiam gang, minus Fang, decided to go back to Earth, along with Lakamana Amato, who turned out to be Boboiboy's dad.

Kaizo called Fang before the Kokotiam gang went back to Earth and invited him to spend the week with him.

Fang was hesitant, but after some convincing from Boboiboy and Ochobot, with some help from Laksamana Amato, he finally gave in and agreed to go with Kaizo.

At the same time, ever since he was around 5, he and his brother never got to really spend time with each other. So, this is the perfect opportunity to make up for the time the two porcupine brothers lost.

Besides, what's the worst that could happen?

Well, anything could happen.

Fang and Kaizo were just chilling on the couch, both scrolling through spacebook. Being lazy boys for the day.

Lahap was nowhere to be seen in the living room, nor the kitchen.

An awkward yet peaceful silence fills the room entirely.

Fang did try to start up a conversation from time to time. But all he got in response was mostly a hum or a very quick and short answer. Making the situation between the two more awkward than it should have been.

Fang sighed. All he wanted to do was spend time with his brother, but it was hard. Ever since Maskmana rescued the brothers from Bora Ra, Kaizo has never been the same. The once loving and cheerful brother was all gone.

It was replaced with a cold, emotionless and harsh person who barely pays attention to him anymore.

Their relationship strained badly.

It's true that they do spend time together, especially during training. But during those times, they see each other as senior-junior agents, not as siblings nor family.

Fang knows deep down; his brother's attitude is because he cares for him and just wants to keep him safe. But he couldn't help but feel... lonely.

Of course, he still has his friends. But all of them have family they could see and spend time with.

It would feel nice to feel some brotherly love from the family once in a while.

This could be the only chance they have to mend the loose ties of their relationship.

And so far, it looks like all of his attempts to do so were in vain.

Suddenly, his stomach grumbled loudly, making him blush beetroot red from embarrassment. And it seems like Kaizo hear it as he chuckled and said, "You hungry?" Fang just nodded, seemingly not able to spit out any words from his mouth.

Kaizo went over to the kitchen, leaving Fang there and confused. Fang soon snapped back into reality. He got back on to his feet and scrambled to follow his brother to the kitchen.

Kaizo then got a bunch of ingredients, pans, bowls and other kitchen utensils from the cupboard. Fang then asked unsurely, "Err... Kapten? You know how to cook?" Kaizo looked at Fang and said, "I watched lots of cooking shows and picked up a few things." Fang looked at him, half in understanding, and half in confusion.

"Besides, how hard can it be?" Said Kaizo shrugging. However, Fang could not comprehend anything at all. Of all the years he had spent with Kaizo, specifically after the incident, he has never. And I mean, NEVER! Seen this side of his brother before. ~Fang.exe has stopped working~

Fang then closed his eyes and just shook his head. No, he has to be dreaming, right?

Wrong

He opens his eyes and saw Kaizo attempting. Key word: Attempting. To cook lunch.

He then grabbed a few bowls and ingredients which made Kaizo look at him.

"I want to help Kapten, besides. It's like you said, how hard can it be?" Answered Fang to his older brother's un-answered question.

Time Skip to after they finished making, no, attempting to make lunch~

The two are currently sitting on the chairs of the dining table, which is not far from kitchen.

They would've eaten in the kitchen... if it wasn't for the fact, it is a complete mess.

Pots and pans and other kitchen utensils messily placed in the sink. Lots of splattered stains covering the counters. In short, the kitchen is a complete mess.

The food sitting in front of them... well, all I can say, is that it is DEFINITELY not like the food shown on the show...

The two looked at each other and gulped, 'We definitely messed up really bad'. Fang gulped and said nervously, "Well, here goes nothing." And ate the food.

Kaizo mimicked his actions seconds later. And they both instantly regretted it.

Fang dashed quickly to the bathroom, with Kaizo trying desperately not to throw up. But even he couldn't resist it and quickly ran to the kitchen and threw up in the sink.

Fang still felt his stomach churning a bit, but it wasn't as bad as before. So, he quickly wiped his mouth and went to the kitchen to drink some water.

Upon entering the kitchen, he saw Kaizo currently occupying the sink, and throwing up.

Fang's eyes widened as he rushed over to help his brother, rubbing circles in his back. Just like how Kaizo used to do when he was sick.

Once he signaled his little brother that he was alright, Fang stopped, grabbed two glasses from the cabinet and went over to get some water for the two of them. In the meantime, Kaizo decided to wash the dishes or else the dishes will definitely start to stack up.

Fang poured two glasses of water and gave one to Kaizo saying, "Here, drink this." All while giving him a small smile. Kaizo graciously accepted the glass of water and drank it. Fang himself drank the water as the churning feeling finally stops lingering.

After Kaizo finished with the dishes. They both flop down on the couch, being lazy boys once again. Until Kaizo said, "How about we go buy some lunch from a place nearby?" Fang didn't even disagree as he was starving! So, he simply responded with a nod.

Kaizo gave him a smile, a pure and genuine smile, which took Fang off guard.

But he was too hungry to think so he just shrugged it off.

During Lunch~

The two porcupine brothers were happily enjoying their lunch at a nearby place. Fang and Kaizo had Sub Lobeh Merak (Red Carrot Soup).

Ahhhh~

The love for 'Red Carrot' dishes truly runs throughout the family.

It was all peaceful, until Kaizo suggested something unexpectantly to Fang.

"Hey Pang?" Kaizo called out. A slight bit of uncertainty in his voice.

"Yeah?" Fang replied with a question of his own. But he was mostly enjoying-, no, he was practically gulping down his lunch.

Kaizo chuckled seeing him. Oh, how he wished moments like this would last forever.

But then his face morphed into a worried face. The lack of reply did not go unnoticed by Fang, as he stopped eating (Read: inhaling) his lunch to look at Kaizo.

"Kapten..." Fang trailed of seeing his brother's face.

Kaizo took a deep breath and asked, "Do you want to visit our parents after this?"

If it wasn't for the fact that they were I'm a restaurant and that they weren't visible in front of many people, Fang probably would've choked right then and there.

"...."

Yep, silence, just pure silence.

Kaizo now regrets suggesting that to Fang and continues to eat like he said nothing.

Fang's shocked quickly morphed into a happy loom, which kinda surprised Kaizo.

"Of course, I want to visit them! It's been so long since we've all seen each other in person..." Fang then trailed off, remembering the reason why they couldn't see each other.

Kaizo also seems to be deep in thought, having the same thought as his little brother.

The two continued to eat their lunch in silence, but a happy one.

Happy that they could finally be a family, even for a short moment.

Time Skip~

The brothers were already on their way full speed to Gogobugi, their home planet. Fang doesn't know why, but all of a sudden, he feels so nervous about seeing them. Kaizo noticed this and put the spaceship on auto-pilot mode. He walked over to his brother and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "It's alright, I know they missed you; you know you don't have to be nervous."

Fang sighed, knowing his brother was right, but yet the butterflies in his stomach just wouldn't settle down. "I know... it's just-" Fang then got cut off by the Walking Cheat Code himself, "It's just that you don't know much about them? You're nervous about seeing them again because the last time you saw them, you were just a child back then. Aren't you?"

With each word he spoke, his voice just got softer and softer, and his eyes became more comforting to look at in the eye. Fang nodded seemingly not able to say any words at the moment. Kaizo also didn't say anything as he just pulled his little brother onto his lap and hugged him.

To say the least that it shocked Fang, was an understatement. He was baffled. But returned the gesture anyways. The two stayed in that position for who knows how long. Could be minutes, hours, or forever. But all they know is that this is something both of them have been craving and longing for so long.

"Kapten, we have arrived." Lahap's voice suddenly interrupted the two as, true to his words, Planet Gogogubi suddenly came into sight.

Fang immediately ran to the window to take a better look with Kaizo right behind him.

"Woah!" Fang exclaimed in awe. Kaizo simply just smiled before some memories started flashing.

"Secret Passage-?" 

"...North Tower...spaceship-" 

"...Powersphera-" 

"Don't ever let it fall into the wrong hands-" 

"...danger...Fang...away-"

"What about you!?"

".... Promise I'll come find you two-"

"See you soon, mom!"

"ARGH-! Let go of me!"

"Mom!"

"What do you want!?"

"...Bait-!...Enerbot's location-"

"Give that back!"

"Don't care a lick about you-!"

"You little pest-!"

"Enerbot! Activate!"

"Pukulang Lohong Hitami!"

"Dinding Tenaga!"

"Argh!"

"Fang!"

"Sedutan Lohong Hitami!"

"Abang!"

"Kapten."

Kaizo snapped back to reality and saw Fang and Lahap's worried and concerned faces.

I suggest you go read it to know what the full comic is. I read it on Facebook while scanning Fang and Kaizo's wiki page on the fandom. I'll leave a link in the comments for you all to read if you want. That is, if I could find the link again... oh gosh)

"Are you okay Kapten?" Fang asked concerned.

Kaizo chuckled and ruffled his little brother's hair, which got an annoyed pout and whine in return.

"Yeah, I'm alright, it's just..." Kaizo trailed off, hesitant to continue.

Fang looked at him, and you can see clear in his eyes that you can NOT convince him to not tell him what's on Kaizo's mind.

The stubbornness visible in his bright red eyes. Kaizo sighed, wondering how and where in the world did Fang got that much stubbornness. Oh right, their parents. And being Fang's older brother, he also got the same trait of stubbornness. This is truly 'surprising'.

"It's just..", Kaizo sighs, "a memory... from the past...". Fang nodded in understanding. He looked thoughtful before he quietly asked, "Which memory?"

Kaizo contemplated on that. Fang probably, very much, doesn't remember the incident. The incident that nearly costed Fang's life. The day that caused Kaizo to start acting cold and more preserved. Maybe it is time to talk to him about it...

"Do you remember when Bora Ra invaded our home?" Kaizo asked. "Err... a little bit...", Fang answered honestly. "Well... that day..."

~Time Skip bcuz ur Author does not wanna explain the entire thing~

"So that's what happened..." Fang whispered in shock. Kaizo nodded and nervously waited for Fang's reaction. Fang sighed before smiling, "I understand..." Kaizo looked at Fang surprised. "Look, you did what you could to protect me... and I'm grateful for that... so, thank you." Fang said. Kaizo was stunned in his seat while Fang just stared ahead outside into the galaxy.

Eventually Kaizo snapped out of it. He smiled before he took control of the ship again for the landing..

~Time Skip~

The two made a safe landing, but was met by the guards/soldiers there. They were quickly recognized and led them to their parents. Kaizo noticed Fang looking around nervously. He placed a hand on his shoulder which directed Fang's attention to him. "Look, I'm sure they miss you. There's nothing to be afraid of. I'm here.", he whispered. Fang nodded as he slightly leaned against Kaizo while Kaizo wrapped an arm around him.

Soon, they were face-to-face with their parents, who looked at them with shock. "Oh my gosh..." Their mother gasped. "Boys? Kaizo? Fang?" Their dad whispered. Fang slowly started to walk towards them. "Mom...?" Fang whispered, tears in his eyes. His mom nodded and embraced him as Fang broke into tears.

Their father went to Kaizo and pulled him into a hug, "Thank you... for keeping you and your brother safe." Kaizo returned the gesture and whispered, "Always..."
