She called, barely a whisper but enough to stop him. Boboiboy turned, his chocolate orbs immediately lost in her amber ones. She looked at him, uncertain. Her hands placed in front of her chest, a gesture he had learned she was nervous. There was a glimmer of something in her eyes that he couldn't identity. Boboiboy cocked his head on the side. He never saw Yaya like this.

When he was about to open his mouth, she beat him to it.

"Stay safe... and come back, okay?" She whispered, her cheeks fluttered at last part. Boboiboy blinked once, then blinked twice before chuckling, realizing the hidden message.

"I will." He said, resisting the urge to touch her. Maybe later, when he returned. Instead he smiled at her assuredly, thumbing twice at his chest, where his heart was. A small, soft smile found its way to Yaya's lip, looking more genuine this time.

With one last nod, Boboiboy turned, running to his waiting teammates, as ready for the mission as he had ever been. He had made a promise, and he was eager to keep it.
