❄「🍃」

Ais took his hand and pulled him out of his bed. The music was running in background and Duri found himself in a dance with the other element. They moved their body, following the rhythm, losing themselves to the music without a care. Duri felt all the worries and negative thoughts leaving his mind. He hadn't had this much fun in a while. Everything was pretty stressful these days.

They're moving around the house while dancing, not caring about the time. Duri could tell that no one else was at home right now beside him and Ais. They only stopped because the radio stopped playing music. Duri watched himself and Ais trying to catch their breath.

"This is fun."

And Duri agreed. It was so fun, dancing without a thought like that.

"Yeah."

Hearing his reply, Ais gave him a big genuine smile. Duri found himself also smile back.

After feeling less tired, they found their way to the kitchen. Duri tried to find something to eat which there’s nothing except instant noodles.

“How are there no food?”

Duri wailed while Ais was still searching.

“None of them has been home since afternoon. I guess they thought that we can handle ourselves.”

Ais said as he found two eggs and some green onions.

“So are you up for some noodles?”

“I guess it’s better than nothing.”

Ais handed him the eggs to fry while he himself chopping the green onions. Duri carefully cracked the eggs in the hot pan. He wanted to make a perfect sunny side. The eggs were fried on one stove while the water was boiled on the other. Duri watched as Ais poured the hot boiling water into two bowls which the noodle packs were laying in. He covered them up so the noodles can be cooked.

After three minutes, two bowls of noodle topped with an egg and some green onions were ready for them. It was just instant noodle but Duri quickly consumed the whole bowl. He didn’t realize that he was this hungry.

“Slow down, Duri. No one gonna steal your food.”

“Sorry, I didn’t realize how hungry I was.”

Ais just smile fondly as his reply.

“Still. Slow down a bit. Here, have some water.”

Ais pushed a glass of water to him. Duri finally stopped eating to drink some water. They finished the meal and cleaned up everything.

“Duri, wanna watch some romcoms with me?”

Ais said as he put the glass back in the cupboard.

“Sure!”

And they made themselves comfortable on the couch, watching some funny romcoms. Duri was sure that they both fell asleep at one point, leaving the TV on. It was nice to spend time with Ais. Duri thought that he won’t mind spend more time doing things like this with his fellow element.
