Halilintar woke up to the noise of boiling water. He still felt a little drowsy. The medicine really did a number on him.

"Taufan?"

"Ah, you're awake."

The person answer him is not Taufan. Halilintar pushed himself up to look at his company. It was Solar sitting near his bed.

"Taufan got caught up with something else so he asked me to come here in his place instead."

Halilintar barely heard what Solar said after that. His mind wondered back to the thought Taufan not being here today. He didn't know why but the thought left a bitter taste in his mouth. Taufan had visited him everyday since his stay at this place. And today he's not. Halilintar didn't want to admit it but he always enjoy Taufan's company. He made this place a little breathable.

"Hali..."

"HALILINTAR!!"

Solar voice calling his name snapped Halilintar back from his sprial thoughts. He brought his head up and saw Solar looking at him with... worry in his eyes? Halilintar shaked his head a little. Solar can't look at him like that. He can't be worry about him.

"Halilintar, are you listening to me?"

"No, I was distracted. What did you say?"

Solar huffed and told him about what his fellow elements doing at home. Halilintar tried to listen to him but his thoughts slowly drifted away again. Solar must notice. He looked at Halilintar with annoyance before he stopped talking and moved to make some tea instead.

"Honey?"

"Only one spoon."

Solar nodded and continued making the tea. Not gonna lie, the tea smelled very good. Halilintar barely remembered what Solar said but he's sure that the tea is from Duri. Solar tooked two cups of tea to Halilintar bed and gave him the red cup. He sat down and looked at Halilintar.

"You're not usually this absent minded. What are you thinking?"

Halilintar tooked a sip of his tea. It was the right amount of sweet for his taste. He could detect some spiciness from ginger in the tea. Duri really knows his reference.

"Nothing much."

By the look that Solar gave him, he knew that he wasn't fooling anyone. Solar just took the hint and dropped the matter.

"Oh, before I forgot, Taufan told me to give you this."

Solar put his white cup down to pull something out of his bag. It was a strawberry cheesecake.

"He said that since he can't come here today, he wants to make it up by making you your favourite cake."

Halilintar suddenly felt a little better. Taufan still remembered their promise. He felt a warm feeling blooming in his chest and he smiled a little. Solar must see it too but he didn't make a comment about it.

"Do you want to eat it now? I will cut it for you."

"Yes."

Solar cut the cake and gave him a piece of it. Halilintar took a bite of the cake and swallowed. This cake is better than the cake yesterday. It's softer and the sour taste of strawberry with the creaminess of creamcheese mixed well together. Halilintar quickly finished the cake while Solar was watching him from the side.

"You really like cakes huh?"

Halilintar put the plate aside and took a sip of his tea.

"Yeah, what's about it?"

"Nothing. It's a surprise to me at least. I don't remember you liking cake this much before."

What Solar said is true. Halilintar wasn't like this before. But he had developed a slightly addiction to cakes. Maybe it's because the sweetness made him feel less lonely at this place. Or maybe it's because Taufan always come here to give him the cakes. Or maybe it's because the cakes were made by Taufan. It's probably the last one but he will never admit it.

"I also don't know myself."

Solar just stared at him and took his words at face value. Or he didn't but pretend to. Halilintar wasn't sure. They spent a few minutes in silence. Halilintar finished his tea while Solar was reading on his phone. Looking at his empty cup, Halilintar asked Solar the question that had been on his mind.

"Why Taufan can't come?"

Solar answered him without looking up from his phone.

"I don't know. He and Gempa left since morning and they didn't tell us anything."

Solar turned off his phone and put it in his pocket. Then he picked up the plate and their cups to clean up.

"I need to go now. Taufan asked me to give these-"

Solar said while putting some books on the counter next to his bed.

"-to you. Be careful with them, I want my books back in perfect condition. I will see you later."

Solar picked up his things and left Halilintar alone again. Halilintar opened one of the books that Solar left and wondered if Taufan will come here tomorrow.
