SUNDOWN. That was when Finn decided, out of anytime of day, to challenge the fair beauties.

I sat with my friends at the back entrance of the girls' dorms. They allowed us to come out here all the time, except after curfew. There was an open field behind it, we watched it as we sat on the top of the cobble stairs. I waited for them, patiently. Finn Wolfhard and his buddies.

"Caleb stop shoving me!" I heard a wail cry out as feet parted towards us.

"Then walk faster, Jack!" Another voice retaliated with back up from another coming after it.

"Yeah, walk faster, Jack." This voice was lighter and more playful, something carefree about it all.

"Shut up!" Was heard along with tumbling laughter. They were here, and so were we.  They stumbled about, the way pals do, and rounded the corner. They were all the way at the bottom of the steps as we were at the top.

"Now what, Lo?" Amber asked me, I shrugged and rested my elbows on the next step behind me.

"Nothing. Whatever happens happens."

"You didn't think your plan through?" Marta questioned, this shouldn't be New this is something at I always did.

"The best plans weren't thought out, besides that's what makes it fun." I said smiling at I watched Finn take a glance at me. He had stopped laughing and settled for a chuckle. His lips on an open smirk, if that make sense.

He slowed making the rest of the boys stop and look at us. I waved looking at the girls so that they would do the same. He looked to Caleb and nodded his head towards us, Caleb shrugged with a wordless nod and they all bounded the stairs to us.

"Well, what a surprise." He smiled, at me, they all sat near us; extremely close to one another, he wanted us to feel uncomfortable.

"What's so surprising, the fact we have the pleasure to be seen with Carter Prep boys or that we get to watch you play." I said noticing the football Finn tousled in his hands.

"The pleasure is all ours, madame." He said tipping his imaginary hat, I rolled my eyes and pushed his shoulder.

"What are you guys doing out here anyways?" Noah asked from beside Cara.

"Coolin, we needed a break from it all." Amber said.

"All of what?" Jack questioned from just beneath her feet. I looked to my right where the My were and noticed how Amber shrugged with exhaustion.

"Everything, have you ever had that feeling where your ears ring and your head hurts from being so stressed out? Yeah, things can get to be a bit much." I said shrugging.

"Well, that's kind of why we're here," Caleb said putting his hands out for the ball, Finn tossed it to him, "sometimes you just gotta like someone else's face into the first to feel better." He said; they do get me but they get it.

I looked at him a lot, the sun in my face from a distance. I laughed at Caleb's statement, even if it might mean something completely different to others, it was humorous to me, cause he was right.

I looked over at Finn to catch his stare. You know when you catch people stare at you and they look away like they weren't just looking at you in your face? Yeah, he didn't do that. Instead, he continued to stare, smiled at me, then looked down to lean his elbows on his knees.

The sun was getting less visible by the second and the curfew bell rang throughout the halls. This was the time where everyone would usually be heading inside for room check and bed. If you weren't in the showers or on your way to your room then you'd better be in bed.

"Hey, princess, do you and your royal advisors wanna join my boys and I out on the field?" Finn asked looking between my friends and I.

"You want to get your ass kicked by a girl, on purpose?" I quirked an eyebrow at him, he made a face at me, making me giggle and him grin. I heard fake gagging and coughs from behind us.

Finn looked but I didn't bother. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, "I like this silly game we play." He said quietly. Not every comment is meant for others to hear.

I have him a mischievous smile, "you enjoy seeing my face that much?" I asked rhetorically, he chuckled and pinched my cheek as a grandmother would naturally.

"Not as much as you like seeing mine, pretty girl." I never saw his nicknames as sexual or flirtations towards me. They were more of a way to get under my skin, or maybe I was one who needs to be convinced.

"Stop flirting and tell him we'll go." Alexanderia bursted. Our friends snickered at our comment and Finn's smile never stopped, it only went red in the last green lights of day.

"Meet us out by the garden's entrance." I requested. It sounded more like a demand.

We were smart, we couldn't just miss room check. The rule of the five of us was: do what you want just don't get caught and if you do get caught then get out of it. We never had a problem with it before.

We made it in our rooms and I began rummaging through my closet space. Millie was up on her phone, she looked at me peculiarly and asked, "What is it that you're doing?"

I simply tugged on my jacket as turned to her, "Uh, Millie, could you do me the smallest, tiniest, biggest favor?" I asked with pleading hands.

She sat up properly in bed, alert, "Which is?"

"Cover for me while I sneak out?" If I get in trouble for sneaking out I know who the snitch is. Not that she would, but I don't know her like that.

"It's after hours, they'll be doing room check soon." She exasperated. She was now cross legged with the covers bunched up in front of her knees.

"Which is when you come in, there any way that you could help me out?"  I really hoped she said yes, or else I would have to do this the hard way.

"I'll call in a favor, but you so owe me." She pointed at me sternly as a knock was heard on the door. That either really bad or really good.

Millie stalked over to the door cautiously and opened it. She sighed in relief and stood aside as the girls came in. Sports gear and all— you never know when you'll need to run for your life.

"Ready?" Marta asked. Looking out the window. The sun still has orange hues in the sky but was nowhere in sight.

"Lo is ready for everything, even if she isn't." Amber said fixing her sock.

"Let's go, you're the best, Mills." I said before sneaking out, crouched low towards the ground and taking a different route to the garden entrance. The garden entrance was closest to the girls' dormitory so that it could brighten our moods at being trapped here. There they stood.

"Ladies!" They yelled.

"Gentlemen!" We said simultaneously.
