Title : Pen Pals

Everybody knows the reason why Shoto Todoroki didn't have any friends back then his father, Enji Todoroki, or otherwise known as Endeavor (aka Crappy father) who has been isolating him from any social interaction all the way until now. So Shoto decided to get a pen pal because Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, and Tsu suggested it

They gave him a random address and told him to write it on the envelope he'll be sending Shoto agreed with their idea and did so. He grabbed a pencil and paper and wrote

Dear Pen Pal
Good morning/evening/ afternoon to you, My Name is Shoto Todoroki My friends have told me this was a way of how people make friends of somewhat far distances they have also told me it helps me get better with social interaction. I live in Japan, My quirk is half hot and half cold the draw backs are I have to regulate my body temprature with the other half, I am 16 and a hero in training, I also have red and white hair. How about you?

Shoto looked at the letter contemplating of whether to send it or not but he folded the paper and sealed in a white envelope put a stamp on it, wrote the address, and sent it to the post office

Two Weeks Later

It was lunch time and Shoto, as usual, was sitting with his friends who were talking about random things "hey Todoroki-kun" Tsu said turning to Shoto He hummed signaling he was paying attention "did your Pen Pal send a response yet, Kero?" She said tilting her head a little with her finger on her chin "oh yeah how about it Todo?" Izuku said eventually all four of them were curious of how it was going, and had his pen pal responded to his letter Shoto shook his head "no, not yet" he said and went back to eating his soba.

When Shoto got home he checked the letters to see if his pen pal responded and there was a certain letter with writing on the envelope that read To: Shoto Todoroki From: Ya Pen Pal he took the envelope and placed the other letters on the counter and proceeded to his room so he can read it. He sat down on his bed and read the letter though to his suprise it was in English, so for once he was glad Present Mic has taught them English words, but still had a little trouble reading it

Dear Shoto
Hi there, My name is M/n L/n! I like your name it sounds really cool :D I'm from america you sound really interesting, I apologize if I sent this letter quite late I had some important errands at home, sorry if you aren't able to read some of this, I'm about 17 years old, a hero oh and my hero name's Vibe, and my quirk's called Electric Dance, basically everytime I break dance I can shoot lightning out of any part of my body the drawbacks are pretty natural exhaustion
Also I sorta drew myself..I don't know why though

But anyway that's what I look like and that's my hero costume Sadly though I didn't have any colors.
What do you like doing? And what do you look like? If you don't mind me asking :/

Shoto stared at the letter and at the drawing, he felt excited and bubbly inside as if it made him a little happy and thought about tell-well writing to him what he looked like but for now he had homework and training to do so maybe later but he looked at his pen pal's name one more time 'M/n'

The next day, Lunchy Times :)

Shoto's P.O.V
I brought some paper and the same letter M/n sent me "Hi Todoroki-kun" Tsu greeted me and Uraraka waved I nodded at them and sat down "What's with the papers Todoroki-kun?" Midoriya asked swallowing his food "its from my pen pal" I said straight forward "I was also going to write the letter to send to him back" I said eating some soba before I continued writing "hm May we see the letter?" Iida asks I nodded not looking up from what I'm writing

The four grab M/n's letter and read it "I'm guessing he's american, Kero" Tsu asked I nodded again and suddenly we heard a squeal and realized it was just Midoriya "ohmygodohmygodohmygod!" Midoriya squealed suddenly the cafeteria went silent and all eyes were on Midoriya, which made him stop and look down with a very embarassed face "Midoriya if I may ask What was with all the squealing?" Iida said "Well..eheheh you know I just got excited when I noticed that Todoroki-kun's pen pal was THE Dance hero, Vibe! I idolize his creative thinking! Well not as much as All might but he's still cool!" Midoriya said excitedly Uraraka beamed a bit too "oh right him! I watched him on news and rumours were going around about him actually just being 17! And its true!" She said with energy Iida and Tsu began to talk about M/n more and more

It somewhat annoyed me I don't know why they were just talking about him no big deal...though my chest just felt a little tight and I snatched the letter that they set down on the table trying to forget this weird feeling hoping it would disapear.

I set down my pencil and looked at the letter

Dear M/n
No, I do not mind you asking so anyway I enjoy reading, walks, eating soba, and quiet places. I have red and white hair as I said in the previous letter I've sent you, my hair is fairly flat, I have a diamond like face shape if I can recall, and I have grey and blue eyes the left being blue and the right black you sound rather interesting yourself. You also have an okay art style

I looked at the letter I wrote it seemed a tad too short for my liking but then again I don't know what else to write

Later that day

I stopped by the post office and looked my letter with the same stamp and address with words on the envelope on my best English writing as possible saying To: M/n L/n From: Shoto Todori I looked at it for a while and sent it

The next day

M/n's P.O.V
I heard my loud alarm blare through my ears making me groan and sit up 'why did they even invent these damn alarm clocks!?' I thought and slammed my had on it, shutting it off and walked to the bathroom and washed my face, suddenly feeling my energy get to my body

I got a f/c shirt and 2f/c shorts and took a shower then when I was dressed I got down stairs and made myself some cereal since I'm shit at cooking and I don't want to burn my roommates' kitchen, yes,yes I do live with my friends they were about 3 they used to be 5 but my old online japanese friends Yagi, and Hizashi just stopped talking to me but, eh

While I was still eating Jace came down stairs and greeted my groggily so I passed him some coffee "thanks" I heard him tiredly grumble "welcome" I said. I then heard the door bell ring so I put down my bowl and went to the door, unlocked it and opened the door to reveal the coolest mailman boomer ever, Benson, "Morning Benson, How are the wife and kids?" I greeted him with a smile and finger guns "Morning to you too M/n, and they're doing fine" Benson said digging through his bag and gave me some letters and a package "I heard you go a pen pal" Benson said while he was getting a clip board and a pen as I grabbed the letters and package "yup" I said he gave me the clipboard and pen, I signed it and gave it to him "alright thank you" "heh Have a good day" "you too!" I yelled at him while waving.

I got inside the house and closed the door I then began to look through the letters and saw writing in English it looked like they were so hesitant to make a mistake, but eh I don't blame them.

I took the letter from Shoto and ran to my room. I read the letter and immediately grabbed a paper and started writing because, I had to go do hero work by 7:30am

Heya there! Shoto. Sorry this sounds pretty rushed but I have to do hero work but hopefully this can make sense ._. .

I looked at the letter checking if it was long enough and for errors I nodded when I saw no errors and put it in an envelope put the return address, his address a To: Shoto✨\(°∆° \ ) From:M/n L/n (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻, and a stamp. then I got up to change into my costume, grabbed my defense and offense weapons, and a first aid I put them in my sachel and ran out the house suddenly I skid to a stop and ran to my room to grab the letter

But Thomas had it in his hands "hey give that back thicc ass!" I said in a rushed tone, yes we call him thicc ass cuz of That aaasss(if you understand the vine ,lets say it all together-)

no homo though. Thomas looked at me with his hand on his hip "who's Shoto?" He asked going motherly mode on me I face palmed "I'll tell you later right now its 7:29am and I NEED to do hero work today also I was gonna give that to Postman Benson" I said snatching the letter "fine but you better give me a detailed report you gay hoe" he said we both chuckled and I ran outside and sent the letter

And began my hero-ing

1 month of letter exchanging

Shoto and M/n have gotten really close over the past 31 days and M/n was contemplating on whether on tellin-Writing to him telling them to meet up

But god did that for them

While M/n was eating his cereal he heard the telephone ring and Sabrina shouted "I got it" like usual and picked up the phone "hellllo Hero Quad hotline Copy the Mirroring hero, speaking.....Ok...oh sure sure!....2 hours? Yeah sure...mhm mhm...bye" Sabrina hung up and shouted "Yeeeesssss!!!" "Jeyzus calm your ass what's up with you?" Jace asked reading some gay magazine "Language!" Thomas yelled from the kitchen with a threatening look while holding the spatula and pan he was using to make eggs, and with that the room went silent "soo..who called?" M/n asked "Nezu ,the principal of that high school called U.A, you know the one in Japan?" Sabrina said "yeah?" We said "well...he said we were gonna go there to teach the 1st years emotional control for emotion based quirks!! Aaaaand wait for it!...we'll be there for 2 weeks!" And we all cheered on that "Is no one gonna say what time we have to leave?" Jace asked out of the blue "oh yeah...We leave in 2 hours" Sabrina said they all gasped and ran to their rooms to pack up stuff, their costumes and other necessities.

Later

They were all in Japan, two of them with backpacks on their backs, and the rest having duffle bags on their shoulders.

M/n's P.O.V
We exchanged some of their money and went to our hotel "I'll call Nezu and tell him we got to the hotel" Sabrina said "No need!" Someone with a squeaky, yet male japanese voice said from the other side of the door which we couldn't understand look at the door and at Thomas "He said no need" Thomas replied we nodded we were really happy to have atleast one of us can speak and understand japanese.Thomas got up and answered the door and they had little conversation "ok Nezu said we should suit up and get to U.A" Thomas said

We nodded and got ready as Thomas offered Nezu inside for some tea as we suit up

With Class 1-A

The class was chattering like usual, they were talking about the rumour of the 4 Teen american heroes were coming here in japan

Well all were chattering besides Shoji, Koda, Tokoyami, and Shoto.
Shoto was thinking of M/n's next up coming letter. The chattering stopped when, Fortunately, Aizawa-sensei walked into the room making them all shut up "I know all of you are aware that the American heroes are arriving here, and excited-" "Heck yeah we are!" Someone shouted making Aizawa glare at them HARD and they shutted up "as I was saying...2/4 of them don't speak or understand Japanese very well.they're horrible at it" Aizawa muttered the last part "so hopefully whatever you learned out of Mic's English lessons pay off for once" He said finishing his sentence and sighing "alright suit up and meet me at the gym" he said tiredly and pressed the button for the suit cases to slide out of the wall

Later

When they got there the class saw All might, Aizawa-sensei from a distance with four other people it was hard to make out from a far actually and once they arrived and saw them,like usual they stared in awe at the №1 pro hero "Good morning class 1-A!!" He said in his very loud voice "As you know the American heroes are here to teach you about quirks that tie to your emotions! And they Are!" All might said stepping aside and saw the four heroes.

M/n was the first to introduce "Hi there! I'm M/n L/n! Or Better known as Vibe" Sabrina was next "Hello!! I'm Sabrina Tressa or know more heard about as Copy" she was sorta holding back to kick a certain small ball haired kid who was drooling over Sabrina. Jace started talking "Hey...I'm Jace Lockman also known as E.T which stands for Extra terestrial which also means Alien" and by know you can hear out favorite alien girl contemplating of how was she not able to be called Alien "I'm Thomas Shay, more known as, Dash hope we get along" Thomas said and after that everyone started bombarding them with questions while Shoto stood there suprised that his pen pal was right there 'My stomach feels so...tingly' Shoto thought. "How did you get away with your here name being and Alien!?" Mina whined Jace chuckled sweat dropping a little "you said Here instead of hero and you said and instead of an also I guess I fooled my teachers with the alternative of Alien" He said "How does it feel stopping crime in your city" Iida ask loudly at Thomas while raising his hand "well it's sort of exhausting since there's so much crime going on in our town" Thomas said

They were all asking questions and the other three answered while M/n was staring at a certain bi color haired boy which had also been staring at him , still shocked, he walked up to Shoto and sorta had to look down since you were very tall "Nice to actually meet you Shoto" You said with a calm smile 'it is him....he was much taller then I expected..' Shoto thought feeling a small blush creep up its face "Nice to meet you too M/n.."
