Dabi x Reader: Mine (part 2)
Part 2 for this was requested by a few people so here you go! I really want to see more of Dabi in the anime I'm so ready! Anyway I hope you enjoy this!
You knew that he had no right occupying your thoughts like this but you couldn't stop thinking about the mysterious villain. Ever since you met him in front of the train station he intruded your every single thought! When you were in class you wondered what he was doing at that exact moment, you wondered if he was safe out there from the many heroes who probably would like him dead.
What were you thinking? You should be cheering on the heroes not the villains!
But even though you knew this...you couldn't stop...and your heart wouldn't stop racing every time he wandered back into your thoughts.
Luckily, you didn't have to go to your internship because you had a rare day off, so you were planning on getting home as soon as possible and sleeping. You had one more month left until you graduated from U.A. but you had been counting the days for about three months now. You wanted to be free and on your own. Free to make your own choices not just as a hero, but as a person too.
The school day went by slowly but as soon as the bell rang you were out the door, breaking into a sprint after you had exited the school grounds. A little piece of you hoped that you would run into Dabi again...but you squashed that feeling of hope down.
It's a huge city y/n...the odds of me running into him are so slim...it would be a miracle.
"A miracle...is that what he is? Is he a miracle to me?" you muttered under your breath. If you weren't so confused you would have scoffed at yourself. "Damn it. He's still a low-life rotten dirty villain that--"
"Damn, you really are harsh. Y/n."
Your mouth went dry when you heard a familiar low voice say your name as if it was the most natural thing. "Dabi..."
Dabi was walking a few paces behind you, a sly grin decorating his lips. "Hey y/n. How are you doing this fine day?"
"H-How do you know my name?"
"I looked you up. You're in the papers a lot...you're almost famous." he said, his voice condescending. Even though you were still a bit frightened of him, you stopped walking and waited for him to catch up to you. When he did you spoke.
"You think you're hot shit huh? Not abiding by any rules, not caring what society thinks about you...well that's just not me. So stop following me!"
Dabi stopped smiling, his bright blue eyes narrowing. "I'm not just some low-life villain y/n...and I'm not a stalker." he said, with such tenacity that you took a few steps back. "I have goals just like everyone else and I wouldn't just follow you around like a pathetic creep. You interest me is all."
"Why?" you asked.
"Because I think you're conflicted. You remind me of me, and I want to be able to show you another way. You don't have to follow the hero life y/n--"
"Why is the hero life a bad thing?"
"Because most heroes are hypocrites y/n. Haven't you heard about heroes that are just in it for the money? The fame? The ones that don't really care about saving people if there isn't anything to gain."
"W-Well...I admit that it isn't a perfect system...but nothing is Dabi." you responded. Dabi nodded at you, thinking over your words carefully. His lips curled into a devious smile suddenly, and your eyes widened.
"We can help change the world together y/n. If you're just willing to change sides for the time being, I promise I will protect you. You'll do more good in one day than being a fake hero for one year."
"I-I don't know Dabi...I just don't know!" you cried out, your voice tinged with weak desperation. You wished you knew what the right answer was but you didn't.
Wordlessly, Dabi grabbed onto your shoulders, pulling you closer to him. You gasped in surprise but didn't make a move to stop him. You were curious.
He looked into your eyes intensely, before pressing his lips against yours. His cold piercings around his lips made you shiver when they made faint contact with your skin, but you relished in the odd sensation.
He gently nipped at your bottom lip before pulling away. "Y/n...be with me. Please. We can, we can change things for the better." His blue eyes were no longer cold and calculating, in fact they were tinged with such sincere tenderness that you wondered if he really was a villain. He took your breath away.
"I...I will. But if I don't like it...I get to leave whenever I want to."
"Of course." he replied, his voice softer than what it been before. "You ready to go now?" he asked.
"Yes." you replied. School could wait for a few days right?
...
1 year later
Dabi and you had to lay low for a while after attacking U.A. High in the forest, because he was worried that Eraserhead would recognize. You doubted it, and didn't really care if he did. You had been with the villains for an entire year now and you were hardened. Heroes like Eraserhead didn't intimidate you anymore, nor did you look up to them.
Once you had lost respect for heroes, there was no going back for you. Dabi was true to his word too when he said he'd protect you. Every time you two went on a mission, he made sure that you were close by, preferably right by his side.
Right now, you and him were staying at the new hideout because Dabi was still wary about going outside. You were cuddling close to him on the couch, the even rise and fall of his chest calming you to the core. One of his arms was wrapped around your body protectively, and you hated to interrupt the peaceful moment but your stomach grumbled loudly, making you groan.
"Want some lunch y/n?" he asked you, as he resisted the urge to chuckle at the cute sound of your stomach grumbling.
"Yes please." you replied. You rolled off of him and he shuffled to the kitchen, shoving his hands into his jacket pockets. After a few seconds, you followed him to the kitchen. It looked like he was going to make you a sandwich, but before he could actually start making it you wrapped your arms around his waist and kissed the back of his neck.
He shuddered slightly at your touch, but he didn't move away. "Why're so affectionate all of a sudden?"
"Well...I never told you thank you."
"Thank you for what?" he asked, turning himself around so he could face you.
"For helping me see things from a different perspective. And for taking care of me through all of it." you said, almost in a whisper. He chuckled, cupping your face with his hands before pulling you into a rough kiss. The coldness of his piercings still managed to make you quiver with strange delight, and you happily returned the kiss.
"The feeling's mutual y/n..." he murmured against your lips, before claiming them again. Every part of you wanted him. You were completely and totally his.
