~ Midnight! Explain! ~

Before Midnight could explain what the second event would entail, each jumbotron started to display a Chibi-like animation of Lure and Fire Hazard, each wearing a green-colored headband. Watching the animation, it looked like the two characters were running through a maze side by side together.

"In the maze, teams of two will wear a colored headband and fight other teams!"

Following her words, the animation showed Lure and Fire Hazard running into a Chibi-like version of both All-Might and Midnight wearing purple headbands.

"If you run into another team, you can have two choices. First, you can run away to look for the greater goal. Your second choice is to fight them and take the opposing team's headbands, taking away their chance to win."

Now the animation showed Lure and Fire Hazard getting punched by All-Might before he took their headbands and ran away while Midnight followed him. Following the two characters, they stumbled upon a red crystal orb before the animation paused.

"But your goal is to find one of the eight crystal orbs randomly placed in the maze. After that, you have to get to one of the four exits at the corners of the maze with a headband tied onto your body."

Following the animation once again, All-Might took the crystal orb before placing Midnight on his shoulders. Then he ran through the maze and out of one of the exits of the maze before a confetti cannon went off with words saying: Congratulations!.

"And before you choose your teams, all of you will have a headband tied either on your head, neck, arms, or legs. If someone takes all of your headbands, you can't win even if your teammate completes the goal. But if you take someone else's headband, you have to tie it on yourself too and someone can steal it, so they can have a chance to win."

"Anyway, all of you must get a teammate in the next 5 minutes!" Present Mic interrupted since he was starting to get bored with the explanation of how the game would commence.

As anyone would have guessed, Momo and Izuku immediately paired up with each other. Since they had paired up together, friends like Ochaco and Tenya teamed up together while some others were forced into groups like Katsuki and Eijiro. Though someone like Shoto just paired up with the first person who asked them, which left him with Mei Hatsume.

Once five minutes had passed and everyone was paired up, a few members of the staff gave each team a pair of colored headbands. Izuku and Momo had gotten a pair of black-colored headbands while others got more random colors like Katsuki who had ended up with bright pink but gave the staff member the headband back in favor of a red one.

When each team had their headband, they were told to pick a spot in the stadium and stay there as the maze was set up. Then, all of the sudden, cement walls burst out of the ground, starting the formation of the maze while Nezu placed the crystal orbs in very specific, totally not random, places.

"Now that the second event is set, let it begin!" Present Mic shouted as Lure walked into the commentator's box to join her husband.

"Mic, no need to be so loud. We have mics for a reason." Nagged Fire Hazard as his wife sat down beside him silently. "But, anyway, any bets?"

"I'd put my money on Todoroki. His chill attitude will get him through this." Present Mic stated in his normal voice and audio level. "I think I can guess both of your bets."

"Izuku." Both husband and wife admitted at the same time before their attention was honed on the event.

In the maze, most of the teams had already started searching for other teams and one of the orbs. As for Momo and Izuku, the two of them stayed in their area with a plan already set in motion as Izuku released three of his four Humming-Bots throughout the arena, each looking for an orb or opponent while one was left behind as a backup in case one ran into someone like Katsuki who would inevitably blow the robot up.

Using the heads up display in his mask, Izuku mapped out the maze so he and Momo started walking slowly and carefully through the maze. Along with his high-tech paintball mask, Izuku had his utility belt full of gadgets and his metal arm, all of it adjusted for his P.E. uniform since his hero suit would be cheating, even without a Quirk.

Momo, on the other hand, only had her uniform since she didn't register any gear for the Festival. Not that Aizawa even gave them the chance to, since he told them about the festival two days before it was going to happen.

Focusing on the map of the maze, Izuku watched the feed he received from one of his bird-like drones as it flew past a guy with indigo-colored hair and eyes, but he ignored the guy as the drone kept looking for one of the orbs. Then, his camera feed changed to another drone feed as a dot started beeping at the upper left corner of the screen.

"Momo, I found the orb." He told her as he recalled the other drones and kept the one that had found the orb flying around the area randomly to draw suspicion away from the location.

"If we go toward it now, we will more than likely have to fight another team." She told him back, creating another metal staff while she spoke.

Grabbing his taser in his left hand, Izuku smiled as he looked at her. "Well, if they want to fight, then they'll get one."

Starting to walk toward the orb, Izuku left Momo behind while his drones flew back to him and he just stuffed them into his utility belt along with his backup drone. With one glance around her, Momo followed after him with her staff still in hand for the inevitable battle they'll have to face.

After a few twists and turns, the two arrived at a clearing with four entrances where a red crystal orb sat on a small podium. Quickly Momo ran ahead of Izuku and grabbed the orb to make sure it was in safe keeping.

Staying in the area, Momo looked through each pathway while Izuku released his Humming-Bots again to look for one of the four exits. While the two were preparing to leave, there was one huge, arrogant obstacle in their way.

"DEKU!"

Turning toward to face one of the four entrances, Izuku was forced to block a right hook and an explosion from a blonde porcupine. With his metal arm used to block the attacks, Izuku got off lucky in terms of overall damage as both himself and Katsuki stepped away from each other while Eijiro joined them in the cleared out area of the maze.

"Oi! Land Shark, get the orb!"

'Land Shark? Is he talking about Kirishima?' Izuku thought as he held on tightly to his taser and Eijiro ran past him so he could get to Momo. Playing on the defensive, Izuku ran and tried to shoot the darts of his taser onto Eijiro's arm, but the redhead hardened his arm, making the darts bounce off. So, Izuku continued to run after him before delivering a roundhouse kick to the redhead's side. "Run! Now!"

Blinking rapidly, Momo focused on her new objective and immediately started to run in the opposite direction of her opponents.

"Fine! I'll do it myself!" Katsuki shouted before he blasted ahead of Momo and blocked her escape. "Come on, Melon Girl! Just try to run!" He taunted as both Izuku and Momo had only one thought going through their mind:

'Melon Girl?'

With the orb in her left hand and the other in her right hand, Momo glanced behind her at her partner before she felt a small but powerful blast near her stomach. Knocked back, Momo fell back a few meters and onto the ground, still keeping a grip on both of her items.

While that happened, Izuku engaged Eijiro in a fist fight, neither of them backing down as they continued to punch each other and block the other's hits. In the midst of their fight, Eijiro managed to keep a smile on his face. "Ya know, you're pretty manly, Midoriya." He said, blocking a jab from Izuku's metal arm with his Quirk.

"Um... Thanks?" Izuku questioningly said back as he grabbed Eijiro's fist with his metal arm before the redhead had the chance to punch him.

"You have a metal arm!?" Eijiro exclaimed excitedly, having more fun than he reasonably should during a fight. "That's so manly!"

Gritting his teeth, Izuku ignored Eijiro's comment and pulled Eijiro by the arm before punching him the gut, catching him by surprise and making the redhead stumble back. Turning to his partner, Izuku saw her making a shield strapped to her left forearm to block an explosive slap from Katsuki.

But using his other hand, Katsuki used a much bigger explosion, blasting Momo into the wall with a sickening crack. Watching the last attack, Izuku clenched his fists and stared directly into Katsuki's eyes.

"Pina. Initiate release sequence." He ordered as his arm's hooks pulled themselves out of his arm socket, his utility fell to the ground, and the clasp holding his mask around his head was unclasped, allowing it to fall to the ground too.

Ignoring the loud thuds of Izuku's gadgets, Katsuki slowly walked over toward Momo, but more importantly, closer to the red crystal orb. As Katsuki stepped closer to it, behind him, Izuku watched as his eyes fueled with absolute rage until they turned red.

And before all of his anger could consume him, Izuku spoke out one more reference. "Get away from her, you bitch!" He shouted as his pupils became slit and the entire stadium full of people had goosebumps, both from fear and because the area became colder all of the sudden.

Turning to face Izuku, Katsuki was about to throw an insult back at Izuku but stopped when he saw his eyes and the hazy area he saw around Izuku's body. "What the f-"

In the blink of an eye, Izuku punched Katsuki with his left arm, the veins pulsing red as he did so. But the actual punch blew Katsuki back and through one of the cement walls. Seeing it, Izuku didn't even have a shred of remorse in his eyes, but his left eye changed from red to green while he lifted up his arm. All of the sudden a soft, green flame ignited from nothing in his palm, then, he pushed the flame toward Bakugo. Once the flame got near the blonde, it went inside his body, healing all of his words before both of Izuku's eyes became a crimson red.

"Cementoss! Wall up!" Fire Hazard shouted from the commentator's box as Izuku slowly walked toward Katsuki, rage still in his eyes. But blocking his path, Cementoss repaired the cement wall from afar and made a dome around Katsuki for his protection.

Not bothered by this small obstacle, Izuku walked up to the wall and put his left hand on it, pressing firmly on the wall as his hand heated up and slowly melted away the cement. Once a hole was made through the wall, Cementoss sealed up the wall again, encasing Izuku's hand and part of his forearm within the cement.

Then, in a deep, gruff voice, Izuku spoke, "This will not stop me." Just as he said, the cement wall was completely melted as Izuku made a right arm from crimson red flames and moved it toward the wall, melting the cement with ease. Increasing the temperature of his arm, Izuku's uniform sleeve burned away, revealing the socket where his arm used to be. "This will end when Katsuki has been punished for the years of torment he has brought upon Izuku." He said in the same gruff voice he spoke in before.

All of the heroes were quiet, not even moving to stop Izuku from harming Katsuki. They were simply too afraid of what had overcome the boy.

While everyone was on the literal edge of their seats, Izuku burned away the cement wall in a burst of flames and walked through the hole he created. He continued walking until he was in front of the dome that had been placed around Katsuki.

Using his right arm once again, Izuku punched the dome but the flames just melted a hole in the dome instead of breaking it like others would think. Making eye contact with Kastuki, Izuku's crimson red, slit eyes remained filled with rage and now bloodlust was added into the mix. In response, Katsuki's eyes filled with unyielding rage as he tried to jump toward Izuku and make an explosion right in his freckled face.

But when Katsuki almost got the chance, Izuku grabbed Katsuki's stretched-out arm with his own left arm, stopping the arm but not the explosion. And surprising everyone, Katsuki still used his Quirk with the biggest explosion he could muster, only for Izuku to literally slurp up all the heat from the explosion like it was the broth in a bowl of noodles.

"You think that was going to stop me?"  Izuku asked in the same gruff voice as his eyes flashed for a second. "Looks like the others are cutting my time short." He said before his eyes flashed again, turning an emerald green, but not losing their slit.

"What the hell is going on?" Katsuki asked, trying to pry his arm away from Izuku's hold, only being able to get away when the freckled boy's eyes changed to green.

"Simply put, you were about to die," Izuku said in a soothing feminine voice as his eyes kept their emerald green color and remained slit. "But I'm going to save that for later." He said as he made a green fireball at the tips of his fingers and flicked it toward Katsuki, healing him as it entered his body.

Amazing and also scaring everyone in the crowd, Izuku walked back through the hole he had created and walked past Eijiro, flicking a green fireball toward him and healing the wounds he had on him. Continuing to walk without any care for the millions of people watching, Izuku picked up Momo from the crater in the wall she was blasted into and laid her on the ground. Then, he used his flaming right arm and spread the flames all around Momo's body as the flames turned green, healing her.

Once Momo was completely healed, Izuku retracted the flames into his body before standing away from all three of his classmates. Closing his eyes, Izuku took a deep breath before he let out the breath and fire came out of his mouth, forming a vortex around him until a shell of fire encased Izuku's body.

~ What did I just write? ~

A/N: The return of Izuku's Quirk! But this time, you just saw two of the many different abilities of it. And if you didn't catch on, the red flames are able to increase their heat further than any other flame. As for the green flames, those are able to heal others. The others will be revealed in due time, but there is still a lot left for you to learn.
