Midoriya sighed, he had one last interview for the day and then he'd be able to go home to the love of his life. She had called and messaged his phone several times in order to check up on him, which was really sweet of her and only mildly distracting.

Knock, Knock, Knock!!

"That must be the lady I'm interviewing."

He brushed himself off and responded with a soft 'Come in'.
The woman walked in with a grin that showed all her perfectly white teeth, complimented by her long blonde hair with brown highlights that matched her chocolate eyes. Even her clothes were well kept, she wore a button up which hugged her torso perfectly and a black skirt reaching her knees accompanied by stockings and a pair of silver heels.

A woman who took pride in her appearance, Midoriya smiled as he had hope for this interview.

"Name?"

"Akane Haruka."

"Skillset?"

"I was won several awards over the years for my wide knowledge, have been known to charm clients and keep a cool head under pressure."

"Reason for working here?"

"My last occupation was having a financial crisis and while I had several ways to help once discovering the problem I was not allowed to help due to me being a female and my boss being quite stuck in his old ways. So I am looking for a more progressive work environment."

It went on like that for another half an hour, Akane answered all the questions with perfection and confidence.

"I've never had such amazing results from an interview in years. I'd love to work with you Akane."
Izuku gave his usual award winning smile as Akane stood and made her way to the door, although he could have sworn she winked at him on the way out.

"I'm probably tired" He stated to himself in hopes of him just seeing things.

He grabbed his things and went home, being greeted with a hug and a small kiss on the nose from his wife.

"Hey Ochako, I missed you"

He smiled picking her up and making his way over to the couch where they began eating the dinner she'd made while watching a movie.

It went smoothly until Ochako asked him how work went.

"Oh, it went great. I had to interview a woman named Akane and she really impressed me, I've never interviewed anyone else like that in forever."

Ochako let out a nervous laugh,
"...Oh really...? Was she pretty...?"

Midoriya smiled,
"Yep, her hair was pretty long and she was dressed up very nicely, then again it was an interview so it makes sense."

"Pretty and impressive, huh..."

In an instant Midoriya recognized what he'd just said to her, he felt so insensitive.

Quickly, he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his lap, "But no one can even begin to compare to you, sorry for not realizing. I love you and only you okay?"

Her cheeks glowed with a bright red, "Y-Yeah okay.."
The reaction made her husband chuckle softly.

And that's how they ended their night; wrapped in each other's embrace and drifting off together, and Midoriya did end up hiring Akane but he made sure to subtly yet clearly show the ring on his finger when she made her flirtatious gestures or comments.

His heart belonged to no one except for the super hero of a woman he managed to marry, he couldn't have been luckier.
