"Alright guys! It's time for partner practice!" Thirteen held up his hand, gesturing toward the class as we stood in the front of the USJ. Class 1-A had come over for some more practice with both rescue and training on unfamiliar terrains. Our teachers had scattered throughout the different stations, some posing as villains while others acted as victims. Normally, I would be excited for this type of training; I loved trying to use my Quirk is unconventional ways. But...

"Oi, Y/n! We're partners, understand?!" An aggressive blonde had already grabbed my left arm, pulling me away from the rest of the class. "Hey wait! That's no fair Bakugo!" Another boy, this one shirtless with sharp shark teeth, had a tight grasp on my right wrist. "Shut it Kirishima! I got to Y/n first!" Bakugo pulled on me slightly, causing me to stumble in his direction.

"But Y/n never said that she wanted to be your partner!" Kirishima tugged back, leaving me to trip over my feet back toward him. "Well she didn't need to say anything! I'm the obvious choice shitty hair!" Pretty soon, the boys were playing a game of tug-of-war with me as the rope. "Idiots!" Mina smacked both of them on the back of the neck, sighing. "Why don't you both be her partner? There's an odd number of students anyways."

"Yeah, that's a great idea!" I quickly stood next to my best friend with a grateful smile. The boys glanced between one another, Kirishima beaming and Bakugo scowling. "Sounds good to me!" Kirishima flashed a thumbs-up while Bakugo kicked the ground. "Fine."

"Alright!" Mina wrapped her arms around both of their necks, smirking. "Play nice you two. Be sure to share Y/n!"

"Shut up!" Bakugo set of small explosions in his hand while Mina ran off to join her own partner. The teachers then told us which station we would be starting in first. Kirishima, Bakugo, and I ended up getting put in the shipwreck zone with Ectoplasm Sensei. "Okay guys, listen closely. I've made thirty copies of myself. Ten of them are wearing a green band, which means that they need to be rescued and brought back to land. The other 20 are wearing red bands which mean that they're villains and are trying to stop you. You'll have to defeat them all in order to save the 'victims'. Understand?"

"Yes sir!"

We waited on the shoreline for Ectoplasm Sensei to give us the start signal. "Okay Y/n, think. How can your Quirk be useful to both Bakugo and Kirishima? How can it benefit the outcome?" My Quirk was the manipulation of metal and alloys. While it was generally a power that could be used in a variety of situations, this one was particularly tricky. If I used or manipulated any of the metal on the ship, then I could cause us to sink faster.

"Do you guys have any ideas?" I turned to my partners. "We blow 'em up. Easy." Bakugo glanced at me before adjusting the straps on his gloves. "Wait dude, we can't do that. The ship'll sink, right?" Kirishima looked at me for confirmation and I nodded immediately. "That's right. If we want to get the most out of this exercise, then we can't be careless."

"Unfortunately, I have two impulsive idiots who both have very strong Quirks. And we're going to be on a sinking ship. This couldn't end badly at all..."

Before I could think anymore on it, the signal was given; a signal flare sent up from the ship's deck. "Alright, first things first, how are we gonna get there?" Kirishima pointed to the ship which was in the center of the lake. Bakugo smirked, setting off another round of explosions in his hands. "Y/n, get on my back."

"But what about Kirishima?" Bakugo had already gotten me on his back while I looked at the red head. "He can swim."

"What?!" Kirishima and I shouted in unison, our jaws slack. "Bakugo, you're joking right?" Kirishima put a hand on his friend's shoulder with a nervous chuckle. "Are you saying that you can't do it?" Bakugo fired back. Kirishima hardened his arms and pounded his fists together. "Is that a joke, bro? What kind of man would I be if I couldn't even handle something that easy?! I'll meet you two on the other side, no problem!"

"Kirishima, you can't be serious!"

"No worries Y/n, I'll get there fast! I may even get there before you, Bakugo." Kirishima teased, winking coyly at me. "Tch, you wish." Bakugo smirked at his best friend before Kirishima jumped into the water with a splash. "Don't fall off now Y/n. I would hate to make you swim the whole way." There was a hint of pleasure in his voice while I tightened my grip out of fear; Bakugo wouldn't hesitate to leave me in the water. "Here we go!"

Sparks flew from his palms, quickly transforming into large scale explosions that propelled us into the air. We jerked around in the sky, headed straight for the ship. I could barely stay on correctly, burying my face into Bakugo's neck while clinging to his body desperately. My heart pounded a little, being so close like this. But I set those thoughts aside; we needed to do well on this activity.

Bakugo skidded to a stop, nimbly landing with minimal impact on both the ship and us. "Scared Y/n?" Bakugo reached down to support my legs, jerking me higher so that my face was forced out from his shirt and resting near his. He turned so that our noses were almost touching. "Don't worry, you can cower in me anytime." He grinned devilishly, purposely using a slightly derogatory flirt. My face flooded with a rose color while I tried to look at anything but him. "We have work to do Bakugo!"

He grabbed my chin roughly, bringing my focus back on him. "So what? It's just some more of the same shit that we learn back on campus."

"But-" Before I could protest, Bakugo pressed his thumb against my lower lip. "Just shut up for once. Damn, you're such a good girl it's annoying."

"Says you," I retorted with averted eyes. Bakugo chuckled, dropping me from his back and onto the deck. He grabbed my chin again, closing the space between us. "Be honest," He leaned in to the point where I could feel the heat of his breath. "You want me to kiss you, don't you."

I had nowhere to hide my blush, the pink blooming across my cheeks and ears. "Well... Uh... I..."

"OI!!! WHERE ARE YOU TWO?!" A familiar voice shouted out, both Bakugo and I turning in the direction that is came from. "Kirishima!" I ran toward the edge of the ship, leaning over the railing to see Kirishima waving from the bottom. "You made it!"

"Of course I did! Hope you weren't too worried about me, Y/n!" Kirishima yelled back, his hands cupping his mouth. A dopey smile framed his face, complete with a small glow of red. "Hey!" Bakugo leaned against the railing, this time messing around with the large grenades on his wrists. "How do you plan on getting up here?!"

"Oh..." Kirishima's smile crashed into the water, his head now cocked to the side like a confused puppy. "I got it!" He hardened his right hand and jammed it into the hull of the ship. "Wait Kiri!" I cried out, but it was too late; he had already begun climbing up. "Dumbass! You're making the ship sink faster!" Bakugo grabbed Kirishima's hand, pulling him over the edge, only to drop him on the floor. "Are you an idiot?!"

Kirishima looked over the railing sheepishly; water was flowing in through the holes that he had made near the bottom. "Well... We better hurry, huh?" He laughed, shaking his head around and spraying water on the both of us. I couldn't help but giggle. On the other hand, Bakugo just scowled. I rested a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it slightly. "Don't worry Bakugo, it'll be okay." At my touch, his face softened ever so slightly. "Tch, whatever. Let's just hurry up and get this over with."

We began walking around the ship, listening for the anything. "Let's split up, okay?" I stopped the two of them, thinking about what needed to be accomplished. "The ship itself isn't so big that we wouldn't be able to find or hear one another. Still, by staying together, we're losing valuable time."

"Fine. As long as we get this over with quicker. I hate rescue training..." Bakugo growled, stomping off deeper into the ship. "But isn't that what heroes do?!" Kirishima called out to him with no reply. He looked at me and shrugged with a goofy smile which made me laugh. "Ready?" Kirishima extended his arm with a slight bow. "Wait, the plan was to split up-"

"We technically are split up. We are separated from Bakugo." Kirishima slipped his hand into mine, walking forward confidently. "Kirishima..." I couldn't think of anything to say; my face was on fire and my heart was pounding.

We walked together, looking for any clues or hints of both villains and bystanders. "I don't see anything..." I sighed, slightly dejected from searching without any luck. "Yeah, me neither," Kirishima hopped down from some splintered pieces of deck, landing next to me. "But don't worry. No matter what happens, I'll make sure that everyone is safe... Especially you." He ran his fingers across my cheek, tucking a small lock of hair behind my ear.

I shyly glanced away, still able to notice the blush that appeared on his face. His hair was messy from his swim, half of it still spiky, while the other half hung down. Kirishima was so close that I could see the water that still glistened on his tan skin. The little scar on his right eye stood out to me; a tiny imperfection. "Umm... Y/n, I-"

"What the hell?! I thought that we were supposed to be split up!" Bakugo's gruff voice brought both of us apart and out of our fantasies. "Oh Bakugo! That was fast..." Kirishima glanced sideways, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're damn right," He grit his teeth, cracking his knuckles. "I knew you would pull something like this shitty hair."

"C'mon, don't be so mad! We didn't even do anything!"

"Sure looked that way."

While the boys bickered, I had walked away to continue searching. The tension between them made me nervous after all. As I walked around, I heard part of the deck crack when I stepped on it. Before it could break though, I jumped back. I glanced down the hole to see some of  Ectoplasm Sensei's copies tied up with green bands on their arms. "Help us!" One of them noticed me and shouted. "Don't worry! We'll be right there!" I yelled back before running off to get the boys.

However, when I arrived, they had their own problems. The twenty other copies were currently on the deck while Bakugo and Kirishima hid behind some crates, muttering to one another, most likely waiting for me rather than thinking of a plan. I crawled up to them, leaning in close so that they could hear my whispers. "I found the hostages. They're tied up under the deck. There's a hole in the wood that leads to where they are, but it might be hard to get down that way."

Bakugo clenched his fists, glancing through the cracks between the crates. "Fuck it, I'm fighting these guys." Kirishima nodded at his friends declaration. "Alright, I don't mind going to free the hostages. What are you going to do Y/n?" Both of them looked directly at me, forcing me to decide on the spot. "Umm... Well, I don't know. Which one of you needs my help more?"

"Me." They both answered at the same time, scaring the crap out of me. Not because of the unison of their response, but rather by the fact that they said that they needed help, though I severely doubted it. "How about this," Bakugo cleared his throat with slight blush on his face. "I think that we all know that both this idiot over here and I... Umm..."

"We like you Y/n." Kirishima finished his friend's sentence for him with an earnest look. "I think what we're getting at is... Just choose Y/n. Who would you rather be with, in this situation... And in any."

"Y-Y-Yeah, that." Bakugo managed to add the last line to their abrupt confession. "E-E-Eh?! Are you two serious?! You want me to decide... Right now?!" I tried to keep my voice down, but it was hard with the rising confusion that was filling my body. Still, they both nodded, not wavering in the least. The footsteps of the copies were getting closer; I had to choose. Though, despite my initial reaction, it wasn't hard. I already knew who I had fallen for long ago.

"Okay, let's go..."

hahaha yes! this is a multi-part oneshot which is kind of an oxymoron but whatever ^-^ there will be separate endings for both Kirishima and Bakugo! look forward to it my beautiful readers <3
