Tensei was requested (with a "back in time" sort of scenario) and lemme just say heck yeah! I love him so much he's such a good big bro. For this oneshot the reader's quirk will be "camouflage." Like a chameleon! Oh, and Present Mic and Aizawa are here too. Enjoy!

"Did the mail come yet?" You asked your mom frantically, as you continued to pace the living room. She raised an eyebrow at you and continued typing on her at the table.

"No it's only nine o'clock. And you took the exam yesterday sweetie, so I doubt they'd send an acceptance letter today."

You groaned and cupped your face in your hands. "S-So you think they'll send an acceptance letter huh?"

"They'd be crazy not to accept you! Just be patie--"

Suddenly you heard a knock on the door and you practically sprinted to the door. You opened the door and nearly tore open the tiny metal mailbox that was attached to the wall. Inside the mailbox was a small envelope with a U.A. High insignia on it!

"Mom! A-AAAHH! It's here!!" you yelled out, closing the door and running to where your mom was. "But I'm too scared to open it! Can you do it?" you asked, handing the envelope to her with shaky hands.

"Hoo boy. Alright let's see what we have here..." she said, taking the envelope and tearing it open without hesitation. A small cube fell out of the envelope and began blasting some quiet experimental jazz music.

A small hologram of a sitting Recovery Girl appeared, and she began talking very sweetly.

"Are you ready to hear the good news?" she asked you, clapping her hands together.

"I don't know!" you replied, wringing your hands together nervously.

"Congratulations on passing the U.A. entrance exam! I look forward to seeing you become a great hero. Plus Ultra!" she stated before the video cut abruptly to show you your rank in the exam.

A small green five flashed next to your name and you breathed out a sigh of relief. Five wasn't so bad especially since there were so many other people who had taken the exam. Your eyes scanned the ranks looking for a certain someone...

Oh my god! Tensei...he's...the number one!! 

You pointed excitedly at the screen and your mom nodded her head. "Good for him."

"I'm going to call him! This is amazing! We are both going to U.A. together!!"

"Good job y/n. I know you worked hard...oh and you're already on the phone...alright then."

Tensei's phone rang a few time before he picked up but before he could get a word in you were already yelling excitedly.

"Tesnsei!! Did you get the U.A. letter yet!?"

"Um, yeah I was just gonna open it now actually. Did you--"

"Oh my god!! Just open it already!"

"Ok ok, hang on...it's kinda hard to open...oof! Ok I got it...oh jeez what's with this horrible music?"

"It's jazz." you replied, stifling your laughter with your hand. "Tensei...did you see your rank?"

"Y/n...I got first place?? Y-You got 5th place...congratulations y/n!"

"I should be congratulating you future pro hero!" you replied excitedly and Tensei laughed loudly. You loved the way he laughed and how his eyes would crinkle at the sides when he smiled.

"Let's become heroes together!"

"Sounds good to me!"

You were just glad that you would be able to see his bright smile everyday at U.A. High.

"Oh, Tensei was that y/n?" young Iida asked, pushing up his huge square glasses forcefully as he stood in the bedroom doorway of Tensei's room. Tensei smiled at his younger brother and nodded.

"We both got in...we are both going to U.A. High."

"Congratulations!"

"Yeah. I just hope I don't start to act weird around y/n..." Tensei mumbled quietly, running a hand through his dark blue hair. Iida twitched in place and waved his arms around before asking what Tensei had just said. "U-Um nothing. I'm just nervous is all."

"I bet y/n is nervous too! You can both be nervous together and support each other." Iida stated, and Tensei found himself trying to control the growing blush on his face at the thought of being able to see you everyday, and see you become the great hero that you were destined to be.

He wondered if you were thinking the same thing and if those thoughts made your heart race like his did.

"Y-Yeah. We will support each other."

"I have to go to sleep now brother. Good night and congratulations again!" Iida said, ending the short conversation just like that.

"Good night Tenya."

Your home was fairly close to U.A. and you were extremely grateful for that because you were notorious in middle school for being late. But it was a new school year, and you were going to try hard to make a good first impression at your dream school!

That was probably why you said 'hi' to everyone you passed by on your walk. You couldn't help it though, your excitement was just too high.

The looming U.A. gate came into view and your heart thumped wildly in your chest.

"Y/n! Wait for me." you heard a familiar voice say, and of course you immediately realized it was Tensei calling out to you.

"Tensei! Happy first day of school!" you said cheerily, giving him a huge smile as he walked up to you.

"The school day hasn't even started yet though." he replied, but he smiled at you nonetheless.

"Yeah ok...well let's hope it's a happy first day of school then."

"Agreed."

With that you two walked past the large front gate and headed towards the main building. That was when you remembered your class number. 

"Oh! Tensei what class are you in?"

"Um 1-A? 1-A and 1-B are the classes that the kids in the hero course are in. What's your class?" Tensei asked.

"1-A too! See, it already is a happy first day." you said and Tensei chuckled.

"Maybe your quirk is actually seeing the future."

"Pfft, that would be--"

"HEEEEEEEEYYY!! Are you fellas in class 1-A too? This place is too frickin' big! It's messing up my jam big time!"

You jumped in your place at the sudden loud voice, and looked over to see a cheery blonde boy with triangular glasses waving at you and Tensei. He was accompanied by a tired looking boy with long black hair, who strangely didn't seemed put-off by his friend's loudness.

"Y-Yeah we are in 1-A...nice to meet you. I'm y/n l/n."

"And I'm Tensei Iida. Nice to meet you."

"Cool! I'm Hizashi Yamada and this is Aizawa Shouta! He's kind of quiet but he can get rowdy if he wants to!"

"Nice to meet you." Aizawa said, bowing his head forward slightly. Hizashi gave a wide smile and a thumbs up, which you couldn't help but return with a grin and a laugh.

He was pretty funny even if he was intensely loud. But you didn't notice Tensei's jaw become slightly taut as he noticed you laughing with Hizashi, before he immediately relaxed it. There was no reason to be jealous after all...

All four of you burst into the classroom and instantly had multiple pairs of eyes train themselves on you all. It definitely felt intimidating to finally be in a U.A. class but it also felt strangely exhilarating. This was the real deal.

"Let's sit next to each other Tensei!" You said excitedly, nearly bounding over to an empty seat that was near the middle of the classroom. Tensei nodded and followed you, while Hizashi and Aizawa both chose seats in the back of the room.

"Y/n...did you want to do s-something after school?" Tensei asked you, bowing his head down slightly. You blushed despite yourself, but you concluded that he probably just wanted to get a head start on his homework with you. Something boring like that.

"Alright. I doubt they'll give us any homework on the first day though." you said, stretching your arms across your new desk as if you were getting ready to fall asleep.

"Homework? O-Oh yeah, w-we could start our homework early I suppose! That's a good idea." Tensei replied, rubbing the back of his neck so quickly, you believed he might have a rash back there. So, without thinking you reached up and grasped his hand on yours.

"You alright?" you asked him softly, incredibly aware of how soft and warm his hand felt.

Tensei's dark blue eyes widened, before his face became so red you thought he would explode. You immediately stopped holding his hand and felt your own face start to grow red.

"U-Um--I'm fine y/n!! Never been better ahaha!" Tensei blurted out loudly, and several of your new classmates turned their attention to him which made the situation even more awkward.

You cupped your face in your hands, trying to hide your embarrassment. "S-Sorry Tensei."

Why would Tensei want you to hold his hand!? He doesn't think like that....

After that little embarrassing incident you could barely concentrate the rest of the day, so when you found yourself somehow walking home with Tensei you were surprised.

"Tensei...what happened today!? I don't remember anything!" You said and Tensei merely chuckled at you.

"You didn't miss much. The teachers seem pretty relaxed actually...but we do have three assignments to finish by Wednesday."

"Phew, that's not too bad...wait three?"

"Y/n, I want to talk about what happened in class."

You felt your heart drop at his words, truly believing that he was going to tell you he didn't want to be friends anymore. Did you overstep your bounds by holding his hand or was it something deeper? Either way you had to find out.

"You mean when I held your hand. Right?"

"Y-Yeah...look...I think you're amazing and beautiful and holding your hand made me feel really nice! But I'm kind of...boring...I mean compared to the other guys at U.A. like Hizashi. You deserve--"

"Oh no! Don't you dare tell me I deserve better or something! Because I think you are the most humble and generous person I have ever known. And you are definitely the kindest person...I mean you are genuinely kind! I liked holding your hand too, but I'm sorry if I broke any boundaries." you said, spilling out your feelings to him in one fell swoop. 

It felt exhilarating to finally be able to tell him how you feel, but it felt ten times better knowing he liked you too.

"T-Thank you y/n. If it's at all possible...I would like to take you on a date. I just wasn't sure if you felt the same way about me--"

"I do Tensei...I always have." you said, reaching down to hold his hand, his hand that was once unreachable but was now within your grasp. He tenderly returned the touch, and smiled at you. His eyes bored into your own, before he leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against yours.

You didn't even register that you were kissing him before he pulled away, his cheeks and nose appearing more flushed than usual.

"Tensei...that was wonderful!" you said, your voice coming out louder and more high pitched than you had intended and Tensei just looked like he had blown a fuse, he was so red.

"T-That was amazing y/n. I'm sorry I didn't wait until our first date though..."

"Nah, I think we've both waited long enough!" you replied joyfully, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before you began walking again. 

Out of all of the ways you thought your first day at U.A. would go, you never in a million years thought it would turn out this amazingly wonderful.
