"When did I ever say I was going to let you go?" Izuku questioned as he against the railing, giving a irritable smirk. More yells of hatred rang out from class 1-A.
"You said you'd let us demand one request..." Todoroki trailed off, giving a nervous look. Izuku merely smiled back.
"I said you could demand one request" He emphasized on the word. "But I never said we'd do it" Izuku gave a smile, watching their reactions closely. How amusing. Well, this was his specialty, using words to toy with people. Todoroki gave a slightly shocked face before it turned into a glare of hatred that all of class 1-A shared. Izuku gave a chuckle before looking over to the clock which he had placed on the side. It was nearly twelve o'clock midnight.
As he listened to the yelling of his previous classmates, he Izuku sighed, knowing it was time to end it all. Looking to Yami, he gave the order in a cold voice. "Kill them all. Throw them off the tower after"
Yami was a bit shocked, but he quietly pushed the shock back down to obey the orders. Kuroi felt the same, but he was happy he wouldn't be the one having to kill them. Sometimes he felt Izuku's orders were just too much. But that was the reason why he followed him in the first place.
Angelo merely smiled, not caring much about the order Izuku just gave. Afterall, he would love to see all those idiotic heroes get killed. He was just a bit upset that he couldn't do it himself.
Class 1-A on the other hand, were in complete shock. They became silent as they processed what they just heard. Bakugo was the first to shake off the shock as the shadows started their attacks on the class. Iida also did the same and quickly reacted to the shadows attacking. As Bakugo and Iida resisted against the shadows, the rest of class 1-A forced the shock away, also starting to participate in the fight. But Todoroki's shock stayed and it clearly showed. He didn't move as the shadows started attacking the class, he couldn't do or say anything. Those orders felt as if.... It crushed any hope of Izuku returning back to the way he was before. It would seem as if Todoroki would be the least impacted by Izuku's betrayal, but to be honest, it hurt him a lot. Izuku had helped him so many times the past few years and helped him to surpass his father. He held a place in Todoroki's heart whether he liked it or not. In fact, he held a place in everyone's heart. The timid, kind Izuku, now a villain. It was the truth, and it hurt so much.
Gritting his teeth, Todoroki fought back. He couldn't just die here, even if he would have to fight Izuku. He would make Izuku realize what he had done and bring him back. That's it, that's what he had to do. But instead, Iida had been the one to speak up.
"Midoriya! What good would killing us do?" Iida shouted, trying to persuade Izuku. Izuku merely laughed back at the attempt.
"You're merely in my way, nothing more nothing less" Izuku answered. Todoroki noticed a change in his expression as he said that. It wasn't one of hate or distain, it was a mask of arrogance with nervousness and fear underneath. Fear of what? He didn't know. But it gave him hope that maybe Izuku could be brought back.
"There's no way you'd think that Midoriya...." He whispered under his breath before looking back at Izuku, a gleam in his eye. No matter what, he was sure Izuku hadn't stopped caring for them completely. And this gave them a chance to bring him back. With that said, the fight truly began-or so they thought.
Izuku stood near the edge of the tower, leaning over a bit dangerously but he didn't really care. Overlooking the battle field, he gave a mirthless smile, one that felt empty. Because that was how exactly he was feeling at the time. He had just given the order to kill all his classmates, and said they were just in the way. It was a complicated yet a simple feeling.
He could only just watch as he indirectly murders the people he once called classmates. The people he once called friends. With a sigh, he closed his eyes for a second. It was all ending so soon. It hurt, it stung, yet nothing could help it.
As he opened them back up once again, he caught sight of the dark shadow he had seen just before. To his surprise and shock, the shadow came closer to him, quicker than any of them could react.
For a split second, time seemed to freeze. It all happened in slow motion for Izuku. First Izuku saw a blurry figure of a cloaked man, just around the same height as him, appear in front of him out of the shadows. Then, he saw everyone's shocked faces before feeling his feet leave the ground. The loss of the ground beneath him made Izuku panic. He slowly fell backwards, towards the ground which was so very far from the top of the tower.
As he fell, Izuku stared at the figure who had pushed him off. His mind went almost entirely blank. It was just so hard to believe. So impossible. The person who had pushed him off was a man, smiling gently back at him as he fell. But the man's face was so familiar to him. No, not just familiar. Much more than just familiar. Izuku watched as the figure grew farther and farther away from him. The one thought in his mind that made his eyes widen in horror. The one thought that seemed entirely impossible, yet it clearly wasn't. Because as Izuku fell, he saw his own face staring down at him.
The face of the man looked exactly like Izuku's.
