Todoroki's POV

One day, after Aizawa sensei's lecture. We were supposed to fight against our neighboring class. I was interested to see what others had for quirks. We were supposed to go against class 2-A. They had some very interesting people in their class. I saw one guy also had a fire quirk, but instead of it coming from his arm or hand, it came from his back, I guess they were like wings or something. I also saw a girl with a dragon tale, wings and fangs. She looked pretty intimidating, like another version on Bakugo, but female and also a different quirk. But there was one girl who caught my attention the most. She has H/l, H/c hair, and pretty E/c eyes. I didn't know what her quirk was though. 'I wander if she even had one..'

We were put in the field and told to stretch while the teachers talk about who's going against who. I was stretching my arm when Midoriya comes up to me. "Hey, Todoroki-kun..have you seen Ururaka anywhere?" He asked with a worried expression. "No, I'm sorry Midoriya..I hadn't seen her.." I clam. Than she pops up behind Midoriya and scares him. "Uraraka...I was looking for you everywhere, where were you?" "I was still getting my track suit on.." she says scratching the back of her head as the two walk away chatting. "Alright students..we have decided who goes first. Shouto vs F/n.." Aizawa sensei announces. 'I wonder who that is...' I think while getting in the center of the field. Parallel from me was that girl I saw earlier. We waited for the 'okay.'

"GO!" The other teacher yelled. I immediately freeze the field but somehow my ice doesn't touch her. 'odd...' I think stepping back. The girl than started running towards me. I sent another wave of ice towards her but the same result happened as last time. 'Why isn't it working?' I question in my head. I was off my guard, so she managed to punch my jaw, sending me toppling backwards. I regain my balance but as I do, she tackles me to the ground. She holds my arms behind my back while kneeling beside me. I try to freeze her but I still doesn't work. "F/n wins." her teacher states. She lets me go and we shake hands. "How'd you dodge my attacks?" I asked her. "Let's just say...good defense.." She said grinding back. 

After that there was a fight between ever pair of students. But we had one extra student that hadn't fought yet. Mineta. No one wanted to go against him all the girls in the other class heard things about him. But the girl I fought against...what was it...Y/n? she decided to go. Everyone pitted her. The two stepped into the field. "Go.." Aizawa sensei says. Mineta runs towards Y/n, and throws balls at her. But the just land straight in front of her like they hit a wall. Mineta was taken back by this but still continues to throw his balls. She just walks around avoiding ever single one, Midoriya was writing in his Notebook- everyone else in shock. Than Y/n ended the match with placing her foot on the back of Mineta's head and rubbing his face into the ground. "Y/n wins, again." her teacher says. 

Everyone went to get a water brake. I was looking for Y/n trying to find out more about her- I didn't know why, but I still wanted to 'get to know her.' She was by the girl with the dragon tale. When she saw me coming she quickly waved the girl goodbye and came over. She stopped I front of me holding a water bottle. "Hello!" she chirps. "Hi," I mutter back. "So...is that apart of your quirk...blocking attacks?" I ask. "Uh...kinda. I'd rather not talk about it." she says, looking down. She didn't look sad though, she had a 'normal' expression on. "Anyway, I hadn't introduced myself," she says with a small smile. "I'm F/n L/n..." she says happily. Her smile makes me shear a tiny one, "Shouto Todoroki...you probably know my father though..." "No...o don't think so..." she answers- a confused look. 

"You don't know who Endeavor is? the #2 hero?" I ask kind of excited. "No I've never heard of him...I just moved here from (Country's Name) so I don't know very many people here in Japan." When she said that my heart leaped. I was overjoyed to know that my father wasn't known worldwide. "Should I?" she asks raising a brow. "N-no..." I saw smiling at her. "alright..well it's nice to meet you Todoroki!" She said with a large ear to ear grin. "You too L/n..."
